81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is any of you guys getting in serious problems? on: March 15, 2018, 02:03:09 AM
I actually put paying for my HIV suppression drugs on hold to buy more BTC, plus I didn't keep up with the protection payments for my curried melon stand in Napoli, and I'm not paying any more ransom for my 11 year old wife who was ripped from my arms in Rangoon.

I can feel the AIDS slowly eating me alive but it's more likely the Camorra will empty several shotguns into my face before that gets me. I think I'll have to let the wife go and buy another one whatever happens.

Come on Bitcoin...

Haha, I laughed out loud. Thanks, in times like these we need some humour.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble 'just about to burst,' major money manager says on: March 15, 2018, 01:57:29 AM
What do you want to know exactly? The guy's right of course in everything he says. Way too many flaws in bitcoin to ever become a success. 14 transactions per second, that's just never going to work.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is any of you guys getting in serious problems? on: March 15, 2018, 01:46:06 AM
Glad I didn't listen to them and sold it all when it hit $180. Tongue

Don't worry, you'll get your chance to sell at $180 again later this year.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectations that many expected in 2018 on: March 15, 2018, 12:39:10 AM
This. I think that people should focus on the tech and fundamentals and stop worrying about price fluctuations. The price is the only thing no one (or most people) don't have control over.

Can you explain me what you like about tech that can only handle 14 transactions/sec?
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Bubble popped? on: March 14, 2018, 10:44:26 PM
This one isnt bubble
Whahaha bitcoin not a bubble. You can't use it (almost no shop accepts it), it can only process 14 transactions per second, it doesn't scale so it will never work anyway, lots of countries have banned it already and you tell me at $8200 it's not a bubble. That's funny.

This sir, will go into the history books as the biggest bubble in history. Hundreds years from now they will still talk about this bubble. Mark my words.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: More bad news: G20 wants to regulate crypto's on: March 14, 2018, 10:33:26 PM
I don't get it why everyone thinks regulations are bad. It has is down side but it also has a good side. People don't have to fud everytime a article comes up talking about crypto regulation.

I think it's because crypto's are very popular among criminals. If they will be forced to sell that's not good for bitcoin.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: More bad news: G20 wants to regulate crypto's on: March 14, 2018, 10:31:42 PM
We do not know yet what will be the conclusion of the talks because they are yet to happen. The safe money would be that the outcome will be further moves towards regulation but that's nothing new. Most of the major economies have already announced their plans for stricter regulation around cryptocurrencies. All that these talks might do is lead to a more streamlined approach and a common direction. That's actually a good thing because it will make the market much more transparent for all involved.

But what about all the criminals with their illegal money? They're now in bitcoin but will they be forced to sell?

89  Economy / Speculation / Re: more bad news: google to ban ALL crypto related ads on: March 14, 2018, 10:28:11 PM
Maybe this way we will have some more room for real advertisement
But where? Not on Facebook or google

You are also here to collect the tears of bitcoiners?

Sure, I can be your personal Jesus.
92  Economy / Speculation / Is any of you guys getting in serious problems? on: March 14, 2018, 10:07:39 PM
There have been reports of people buying bitcoin with mortgages on their house. I was wondering if anyone here maybe took credit and is now (way) under water? Share your misery here please.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term predictions for BTC price? on: March 14, 2018, 08:32:04 PM
depending on your beliefs, but I've seen some of my friends who prefer to focus with bitcoin and leave their jobs
So your friends have shorted bitcoin? Very nice
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin falls again: how to react on: March 14, 2018, 08:16:47 PM
Bitcoin price drop is simply because of the law of supply and demand. If a bad news was released, many people want to get rid of the coins they have due to panic. Sometimes fud after fud comes out so all the more people lets go of their kept coins thus further lowering the value of bitcoin. So if more people sell, more bitcoins are available for sale. This lowers the demand for bitcoin resulting to decrease of its value. So to counter that, instead of selling our coins out of panic, we must buy more coins to leverage the amount of sold coins. We must do this together so that any fud or bad news won't affect the price of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is in our hands. Let's help each other.

Yes, very good, if you don't sell then I won't sell either. Let's see if our combined 1.5 bitcoin can save the market
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectations that many expected in 2018 on: March 14, 2018, 06:37:32 PM
do you agree, if the future of bitcoin is determined from current performance? I do not panic, I just expect the best as you hope right too.
2018 to the moon and repeats a brilliant history like the year 2017.

Exactly, you should never panic. Just sit there and watch your bitcoins lose value day after day after day. Just keep dreaming that it will increase again and you will feel happy!
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you do when you see bitcoin crashing like this and you're losing money? on: March 14, 2018, 06:25:04 PM
Yep, because the price is going to 0 and right now

Well I'm not sure if it's really going to be 0. I personally think somewhere < $1000. With Google now banning all advertisements, which Facebook already did, less and less people now using it, while transactions are going down steadily, the number of shops accepting it decreases, governments banning it (China, Indonesia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Algeria, Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam, Macedonia) or heavily regulating it (most others, last being USA), energy consumption becoming a real problem and that the maximum amount of transactions is stuck at 14/second, it doesn't scale and that SWIFT said blockchain is currently not usable as payment system , I don't think there's any future. But 0 ... Not sure.
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Lightning Network will fail on: March 14, 2018, 06:10:02 PM
It's one of those things where you just need to give it a bit of time.  Lightning is still in beta and it hasn't even been on mainnet that long yet.  All the stuff that will make it easy and user-friendly will come later.  Also, not everyone has to be using Lightning for it to take some of the pressure off layer 0.  Any payment-channel-routed transaction is a transaction not taking up space in the blockchain.  If all the people using it only have to use up space in blocks when they open and close channels, they could still send thousands of transactions that will never touch the blockchain until the final balance is settled, so that's still going to be less traffic than we see generally.  It all helps reduce congestion on the network.

Did you read any of my points?
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you do when you see bitcoin crashing like this and you're losing money? on: March 14, 2018, 06:06:56 PM
Fixing my sit, bringing my popcorn, watching the chart and HODLing.
What I see is big whales bouncing in the ocean, sometimes going deep other times trying to get some 02 so they chose the opposite direction. I am waiting until they make a huge jump then we will have another talk Wink

Poor guy. You seem like a nice person, I hate it that you're going to lose all your money. I hope you didnt invest too much.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone waiting for BTC price went down under $7,000? on: March 14, 2018, 05:44:34 PM
Will hodl of course but very sad stuff.

Well at least it's going to be very good for the environment if we finally can stop with this nonesense. Countries like Iceland are now wasting more energy on bitcoin than on their whole economy!! And then those same people mining bitcoin b*tch at Trump, that's just hilarious. In a sad way though.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: more bad news: google to ban ALL crypto related ads on: March 14, 2018, 05:23:05 PM

That's bullish!
Do you know how many scams had been advertised via google and Facebook?
Way too much!
For the long term this is very positive and it was long overdue.

Exactly !!! No advertisements, that's a GREAT thing !! Just tell all your friends about the BIG GAINS you made with bitcoin, that will do it!! Hahaha, you guys really gotta stop, you're cracking me up
