81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: December 25, 2017, 10:44:43 PM
They are now talking about nxt but I don't see much special things in nxt ecosystem. I like NEM but their catapult thing is the important thing for the whole project. I also like Binance's own coin, called bnb.

NXT should be a part of everyones investment plan right now, the airdrop on 28th will reward many people and bring NXT into the new year as hot platform.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE thoughts. Good entry point? on: December 25, 2017, 05:14:41 PM
I don't think Doge really has some development going on, which means that any price increase is most likely not based on any fundamentals, but rather caused by some pump & dump speculations. This being said, getting into Doge seems to be quite risky. It definitely wouldn't be my coin of choice.

Quite risky I agree, it is a good coin and if you enter now to hold for years than it would be a good entry point, but it is hitting the moon right now and I would only risk what you are ok with losing.

I do like DOGE , good long history that has contributed to the community in the early days.

Sooo Cool!

Just had the best wallet mishap I have ever experienced.

I downloaded the Electrum Verge wallet and created an address so I could cold pull my Verge from an exchange and store it cold so I don't get tempted to sell it in the upcoming surge, well the wallet was not connecting and I tinkered around with it for a bit trying to understand what was going on but could not get it to connect - SOOOO I backed up all the files on in a new folder and went to https://vergecurrency.com/ and downloaded the wallet again, and holyyy X-mas - my coins were in my wallet as soon as I opened it.

Test complete.

Now to send the rest of my Verge to my X-Mas wallet hoping for the snapshot I hear rumor's about that I hope is real.

Happy Holidays all!

Don't exchanges charge you for withdrawl?

Not a bad price for withdrawal I think - 1 Verge to send just about 3300

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

John McAfee telegraphing his next Coin Of The Doge?
https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/938536903124705280

Pretty sure Mcafee fully intended for the German Doge in his pic to be reference to Verge (XVG) lots of reading to catch up on who is who and what came from what but the Verge was born through the efforts of the Doge peeps.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold $NXT in your account and get free $IGNIS on: December 25, 2017, 03:11:44 AM
I have purchased around 3000 NXT about 6 months back and still holding them for long term returns. I have noticed after the snapshot IGNIS coins will be distributed to NXT holders for free. Just want to clarify, do I need to hold the coins into windows wallet or is it fine to leave them at exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex?

Appreciate if someone can answer to my question pls..

For "air drops" you always need to keep coins in a wallet you control the key of (untill the snapshot happens). Exchanges won't distribute anything to you.

I have my NXT on Bittrex and am planning to leave them there for the 28th snapshot, I want to see how the exchange does transferring my IGNIS to my account, they have proclaimed to support the Airdrop here

https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003571832-Statement-on-Ignis-IGNIS-airdrop-to-Nxt-NXT-holders

 https://www.jelurida.com/ico

An airdrop of this proportion could undo the popularity that Bittrex enjoy's so I think it will go smoothly

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you think that ICO is good? on: December 24, 2017, 09:21:15 PM
I always check their website  and team as well. How about you guys? Do you go by suggestion or do you do research on the ICO?
I like to see old members involved
When it is pumped by the old members of crypto I know they do not play around, they know what is good and what is not and they truly want crypto to succeed.

I see everyone commenting on this thread has a 2017 registration date - which means you were not around to see the hard work put in by old developer teams and you just happened to get in at the right time cause pretty much everything pumped this year - split wide open-

Definitely put some time into learning who the team is, how long have they been involved in crypto's and what is the ICO for, how active are they in informing their community about what is going on with developments.

Personally I like to see more than just a block chain and marketing in place, I like to see real results, I just read through the NXT IGNIS ICO and the way that team followed through with what they are doing and I think i would have been first in line to join if I would have been active in the forums to see the ANN, but that is cause I know what that team is capable of - its not a gamble - I know that they can produce results and continue to back up what they have built in the past.

Listen to people that have been involved in crypto for years - that is what I do.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Deep Onion -Should I trade 3 ltc on cryptopia for it, Tor network real? on: December 24, 2017, 04:02:07 AM
SO I opened a cryptopia trade account with 3 litecoin, would deep onion be a good investment or is there better options on Cryptopia? I personally like the idea of a Coin being solely traded on TOR networks but is Deep Onion the answer for anonymity?
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Is a co'op A good idea or a Fail? My investment at stake on: December 23, 2017, 08:39:54 PM
Working on a co'op design that would use a coin or token incorporated into the co'op items distribution plan as an incentive to buy the co'op products, any thoughts or suggestions? (Maybe some FUD?  Wink)

This co'op would probably initially launch in U.S first for logistical shipping and networking reason's as this is the place that I am capable of bringing such a co'op together (with my language barriers in place), then once the grass roots became solid shoots = expansion will be possible to other area's of the globe, unless solid figures in other area's with enough time to be involved were to dedicate themselves to the co'op and they can easily communicate in English to establish a fair distribution amongst their community outside of the U.S. that would be in line with the distribution among the U.S community

The co'op would have a limited amount of coins/tokens to be distributed upon launch and so the co'op will at some point adopt a new coin/token or fork to continue or the co'op would come to an end (not really the option to go for) guidelines will initially be set by interested parties before launch and then the next changes would be by vote initiated by ranking members that would gain rank by vote upon launch and monthly afterward.

I am willing to provide initial investment for startup of the co'op and so will be deciding the first product the co'op will have access to through the privilege of being a member (when dealing with the consumable markets fiat is involved), I have a product in mind but would like to see if there are idea's out there that others would be interested in.

A co'op has buying power through buying in large volume at wholesale pricing - coin/token distribution will be distributed by setting a retail price for the product and issuing the member of the co'op the difference between the wholesale pricing and retail pricing of the product they chose to buy.

A coin would need mining power and a token could run on a network that is already established.

Any feedback on this venture would be great.

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy Monero? on: December 23, 2017, 06:43:41 PM
I bought in last night - today still looks good and I might buy more if I had the funds - I usually buy high supply low priced coins but monero caught my eye and it is one of the hodlable coins as it works its way toward the thousands $ value.

I have invested in some of top 10 alts (except dash and BCH) and wondering if it is a good time to buy Monero?!
Your knowledge sharing is appreciated.

YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST TIME TO BUY MONERO

And that is why I bought in on its way back up.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] Litecoin Red (LTCRED): The next generation of Litecoin on: December 23, 2017, 06:37:43 PM
I think this coin will do well if you get some merchants to accept it - I will add it to be considered on a coop project I am working on,

I recommend doing a giveaway, get into the xmas spirit! Let the community know this is not about greed - airdrops are a bit complicated for new user's - let some of the new crypto users enjoy the holidays with some LTCRED.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years – Official Thread on: December 23, 2017, 06:22:27 PM
One more day of heavy red coming this year I fear.

I like your thread, I think if its ok with you I would like to put my own updates here starting today or tomorrow, I have 3 ltc sitting on an exchange waiting to go into 5 other hodlable alts.
let me know
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: December 23, 2017, 06:13:15 PM
What alts do you have your eye on?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / All you Noobs buying coins while Miners are getting rich- LOL! on: December 23, 2017, 03:16:14 AM
The best investment in crypto right now is arguably in the hardware to mine it, sooo many new users coming to the scene and hardly any new miners, the coin someone might choose to invest in could choke because hardcore miners choose to mine different coins than the Noobs are investing in which would make the coin the Noobs (you) hold appear as if it is failing (like BTC ETH maybe NEO and other alts).
If you were going to invest - let's say 100,000 EUR in crypto and the miners of such coin pulled out cause they did not think they could bring in a profit and the 10 minutes that your coin you invested in spiked and you could not process your trade transaction's to make a profit than I think you could surely blame it on the lack of miners.

Miners are very very important to Crypto, and the most of them make good money mining the coins you trade, maybe it's time for you to make some good money as a miner huh?Huh?
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 23, 2017, 02:59:03 AM
Emc2 will be back up in my opinion. They may have some huge announcement  thats why they delayed for the right time till market has settled

You must've just missed the big announcement, EMC2 is now going to be GPU mineable coin, which means for now it will put coins into the hands of the community and out of control of large corporate mining operations.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / App or site that shows current transaction time and cost? URGENT NEED! on: December 23, 2017, 02:54:50 AM
What App or site can show top coins current transaction time and cost??

If there is not one I imagine that such a site or app could make a killing right now as new traders attempt to engage in arbitrage.

let me know, its something I want to use.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest 500eur into digital currencies.. on: December 23, 2017, 02:40:39 AM
My advice to my people entering the crypto investments is to develop a strategic investment plan, know how long you are planning to hold your investment, what percentage you require from it, and how much you are willing to lose before selling, my crypto investments are generally all based off of a strategy that has worked for me (besides when I strayed from my strategy and lost 1/3 of my value), I get in and and get out based on what I am willing to lose or what my goal was on my long term crypto choices and short term choices.

Diversify

My take on this GEM..  Ready to move up!
If you are not in POWR, this seems to be a good entry!

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/POWRBTC/gKFFR9Z5-POWR-on-Wave-2-REady-for-big-wave-3/

If your not in now for sure this is a good place to start, POWR team is not pumping and fans do not try to pump, the team really is working on its real application and it will be pumped by the whales-not the supporters.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: December 23, 2017, 02:26:12 AM
The coins the old member stand behind, and the ones they produce, that is where its at

I hold all sorts of alts though
I wont pump them here they are pumping on their own forum right now, visit the forums and websites and connect on twitter with coins and tokens you might be interested in, you might be buying a new car in a week if you play your cards right.
