81  Economy / Securities / Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts, UK LTD company - Now Mining & Paying Bitcoin on: October 09, 2013, 10:34:55 PM
Yes

Plan is to get you guys to 100% first. Once that is achieved then we can offer a booster. Currently the focus is building these racks and adding your machines daily.

Stay tunes.

Okay I'll continue to wait. Note that I haven't been attacking you at all. I'm waiting to see how this all turns out because right now it's all just speculation anyway.

Hey thanks :-)

We will certainly be rewarding our customers. We just want to deliver their purchase ASAP first. Hence the crazy long hours. We are getting there though.

Will have some more hashing power increases to announce.

Emmanuel

Sorry but after looking into your company CloudHashing i cant see how you have a business model, the equipment you have already is already running diminished returns no matter what you have purchased ,your behind the times!
When you ask people to reinvest 30% that's just a blatant scam on the customer to cover your own back. the contracts are weak and the returns will again be diminished your plugin a large hole with a small peg. as with all over companys your mining away before handing that power over to the customer giving them the same old spiel!

i dont get it i can buy and run my own kit you offer nothing i would purchase as an investment

sorry but your a scam!

The police have arrested people.
That means they must have had enough evidence to convince a judge to issue an arrest warrant.
They will get exactly the same chance to defend themselves as anyone else who gets arrested.
How exactly does that equate to martial law?

you seam confused , my statement ends .............where dose this end ............ george orwell 1984 .

(The guy from Devon is called PlutoPete and he's been posting on the Silk Road forums about his arrest. He was arrested last week before the NCA existed (it's only came into existence on Monday) so I don't see how he could have been detained by them)

Interesting i thought the same thing but the nca was around a bit before the big announcement to make sure they had got the act together ,

Yeah maybe they've existed for a bit longer but Monday was the big announcement day. The media were jizzing their underpants calling them the British FBI.

made my stomach turn as i know how bad the FBI are in the US we really don't need that shit here!!!! NWO Police State , Martial Law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wheres dose it end ,.............George Orwell 1984

88  Other / Politics & Society / SilkRoad Connected Arrests in the UK by NCA on: October 09, 2013, 01:43:20 PM
Four men in the UK have been arrested over their alleged roles in the online marketplace Silk Road.

One of the suspects is in his 50s and from Devon while the others are in their early 20s and are from Manchester. They were detained by officers of the new National Crime Agency (NCA) shortly after the FBI arrested Ross Ulbricht – the suspected creator of Silk Road.

The NCA has warned that other people in the UK suspected of being “significant users” of Silk Road will be arrested over the coming weeks.

Keith Bristow, director general at the NCA, said: “These arrests send a clear message to criminals; the hidden Internet isn’t hidden and your anonymous activity isn’t anonymous. We know where you are, what you are doing and we will catch you.”

He went on to say criminals can’t completely erase their digital footprints, no matter how technology-savvy they are.

“They will always make mistakes and this brings law enforcement closer to them. These latest arrests are just the start; there are many more to come,” Bristow added.

Andy Archibald, head of the NCA’s National Cyber Crime Unit, said the NCA is committed to tackling the ‘dark’ or ‘deep’ web and those who exploit it. He added:

It is not clear how much data the NCA possesses – for example whether it can see exactly which products each of the suspects purchased from the site.

While illegal drugs are reported to have made up 70% of the items sold on Silk Road, some other seemingly innocent items have also been up for sale on the site, including digital goods, jewellery and home and garden supplies. However, it seems unlikely the NCA will accept any claims from the suspects that their frequent visits to the site were merely to buy these innocuous goods.

90  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Today, ROI is an unobtainable myth... on: October 09, 2013, 01:31:19 AM
Just don't mine for profit, mine to protect the network. Problem solved.

If there were huge profits in mining, hardware companies would just mine themselves.

I treat it is a hobby, and it's fun to get something back from the hobby.

Another way to think of it is like an annuity that you CONTROL.

Instead of dumping $1000 in the bank, and have them pay me an insulting 0.05% interest rate, and having them use my money to goose up Wall St, I'd rather buy something real that I control, and pay myself some interest money.

Then when I'm done with it, I still have the graphics card/miner and the enjoyment of it. I could put it up on E-bay, keep it, use it, do whatever I want with it. It's under my control, not somebody elses.

ROI is a relative term. Returns are what you make them out to be, not what somebody else tells you they should be.

To each their own whatever.

+1

this is my angle its not just about the ROI , im part of this movement that the whole world is starting to really talk about . i believe the price of bitcoins will rise to a crazy level and i will get my return as i keep mining away generating  bits of a bitcoin.

if America defaults on the 17th watch the price of bit coin go up 1000%

Hmm.  Nothing is a general rule then. Can be just coincidence.

I know exactly why some scum would hate me a lot right now. The thing happened  may have nothing to do with the attack.  Or maybe provoke attack first place. Never know I guess.

no problems here!
94  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello! Newbie here. on: October 08, 2013, 03:36:15 PM

Welcome.

I have made several lengthy posts and logged over 6 hours online yet still cannot reply in other forums. I do not know why this happen. What is substantial? I might need to write a book but how many chapter?

Bitcoin is bitcoin. Litecoin is litecoin. There is a common (and correct) theory that once digital currencies become prevalent in our society, there will be a handful of digital currencies commonly used. For example, in today's marketplace the vast majority of transactions are conducted using Visa and Mastercard. Since Bitcoin is by far the biggest and most well known digital currency and litecoin the second, a simple analogy was made since gold is more valuable than silver. But will this analogy hold?

In the future, you are going to see three currencies dominating the marketplace. The great thing about the current infrastructure build-out is that the point-of-sale devices currently being propagated can easily be modified to accept additional digital currencies. Like Visa and Mastercard, there are very little technical differences between these various currencies. For example there are practically no differences between Visa and Mastercard yet they are the most widely used forms of payment on the planet.

since the forum was hacked and taken down the update is taking longer , be patient and you will be updated in a few days hopefully

Well, what I have learned, after the Vdragon fuckup, is to always have some sort of hook that can be verified so if someone fucks you over he is easy to trace, and if you have such information they are less likey to fuck you over.

i settle for nothing less than an address so i can rock up know the door and bitch slap the fucker for ripping me off. i scower ebay that offers money back garuntees or places and people i know i can trust . not buying though forums or second hand information, School boy error for the OP

They're delayed a week or so due to a Chinese holiday, which held up the PCB manufacture/delivery.

But, you'd know that if you searched or read the forum, rather than posting a new thread for every question you have.   Roll Eyes

ok thanks for that dickhead

Any time dumbass.  Roll Eyes
