81  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 [Exclusive] $70 / 20GHS [Limited Quantities] on: December 18, 2013, 08:18:25 PM
Well I stopped short of calling SCAM (yet) since anyone is able to order an X-3 from BA's (or bobsag3's) website.

But yeah, 2 posts and a complete rip off of the DZMC site screams volumes.

You know if you are going to rip off DZ Miners Co-op site
http://www.dzminercoop.com/?product=r17-black-arrow-prospero-x-3

You might want to at least read through what you rip off and remove all instances of who you ripped it off from

A recent payment out of my mining account worked tonight, but I'm still owed 0.83661885 BTC that got zeroed out and never sent to me from this morning. Gave me an invalid confirmation code when I went to click the link.

Starting to worry as my account has not been credited that amount, nor has the payment gone through yet :|

Same here, payment got zero'd out during a withdrawal. Support replied there is a delay in deposits.
Hoping they get some support people that actually read the tickets or can tell the difference between deposit and withdrawal so I can get my btc back
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: building a 20 th/s mining rig... need some help on spec'ing it out on: December 05, 2013, 06:57:20 PM
The entire bitcoin network has less than 7 th/s XD

Cex.io is 1900 Th/s  (1.9 Ph/s) right now
BTCGuild is 1800 TH/s atm

The network is WELL past 7 Th/s

For the OP the only way to get 20TH in hand right now (no pre-orders or anything) is to buy a lot of Jupiters and or Saturns at outrageous prices.
You might be able to buy some pre-orders that are due to ship in Jan 14 that are 1TH+ each but thats about it

Can we get R13 added to the dzminer coop page so we can monitor hashrate and earnings?
90  Economy / Services / Re: BTCMiners "Cloud Hashing" | $8.50 USD per GH/s! on: November 28, 2013, 01:34:18 AM
BTCMiners
Maybe you can hop into their chat and ask for confirmation on when the units will be shipped.
With such a large order as yours, they should at least be responsive to the inquiry
91  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: DZ MC: Round 5-6, KnC Jupiters. Please move ?s and discussions here. on: November 27, 2013, 10:39:03 PM
well they are nice problems, but I am very afraid to sell it on ebay.

I did a lot of research today and I don't think we can be certain of no charge back  unless we insist on all btc from the buyer.  this auction on ebay seems to be the best way to list it.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KNC-Kncminer-Jupiter-Bitcoin-Miner-550-GH-s-in-Hand-USA-Ships-FedEx-/291022844481?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43c2503241

this listing will take paypal and prefers BTC.  so if the winner of this insists on paying with paypal he could.  I am going to create an auction to see if I can force only btc. bear with me .

would coingig or cryptothrift (or any other bitmit replacement) be a better option?
92  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: DZ MC: Round 5-6, KnC Jupiters. Please move ?s and discussions here. on: November 27, 2013, 10:38:03 PM

Let's take a minute here to define EXACTLY what we are talking about here otherwise a vote is meaningless.
When I first read this thread and voted the above quotes were what I based my vote on,

But with this as an option
as a price point  ant miner is selling a non auction right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=348747.0

they ask 4.25 BTC for a 180 gh machine.   this is a flat price.   seems to me we could list our 1 for 11 BTC  it would be a bargain compared to the 180 gh x 3 = 12.75  for 540 gh for unproved tech.

while we would be 11 BTC for 550gh proven tech.

I would probably change my vote. Starting at 20 or 25K but then considering 11btc (11K) is half of what I voted on.

In order to make this valid I believe we need to set a price that we sell at, anything less than that and we keep hashing.

Its hard to vote when the target is changing by 50% or more

+1 (incidentally, 1 share)

I agree well at least the problem is an upside problem (btc went to the MOON)   rather then an other  type of problem.

After we get the next dividend we will have more house money making decision a bit easier.

In  a way there are 3 votes  not 2  ..

1)do a safe btc auction on bitcointalk----get 10-12 safe coins   pros no returns con less money

2) do a risky ebay auction  ------------- get 18-21 risky coins  pros more money can't stop a return

3) fuck it just hash man hash------------ the next diff should be under 700 mill  we would earn 5 btc maybe 6 from dec 1 to dec 13

Good point Phillip

Before I can finalize my vote I need to know what I am voting on, which was the only point I was trying to make.
I'm not opposed to any of the above options, would just like to know which one is being voted on so I can make the best decision.

So I guess the first decision to be made is which auction would we do? Once that is known the vote to keep or sell could be made as we would then know the expected return from the sale.

Are there any other options or possibilities that should be put forward before a decision is made?

Info in this thread

states that the 1.2 THs will begin shipping Dec 20

Looks like AMT will once again miss their expected ship dates

Lots of people bought, all Paypal people got refunds, no one has received anything yet (or no one has come forward to say they received anything)

We now have R19 Neptune set up by request from our co-op.

However, I can't believe the prices that people are actually *still* paying on ebay for these:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=knc+jupiter&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc

What's the general consensus on this? Even w/ ebay's awful fees, we'd still all stand to gain by selling soon, if that's what our majority want. A sale at this price is likely to be well over what the unit will generate (unless BTC prices continue to skyrocket).

If so: let me know as I need to go get my PayPal acct. out of limited status (they're not happy when you do a CC chargeback on BFL Jallys outside PayPal's 45 day refund window). That or we'll sell it thru Thomas's or Philip's account, if he's game.

Starting a vote. Please vote and tell your friends and tell other R5-6 co-op members to vote if you'd like to influence this vote.

Also: please follow up with a PM or public vote, including your number of share votes. We'll hold voting thru Saturday evening. Hopefully everyone will have stopped by before then.

Please also feel free to discuss the pros vs. cons of this early sale.

Thanks!

How about selling one (with a starting price +$25k) and keeping the other, distributing hashrate and proceeds between both R5 & R6?

We'll start shipping mid September orders on Monday the 4th. That includes anyone that paid via wire or btc (despite when they paid it) . For the the other guys that ordered end of the September/Early October, your miners will ship from the 4th-8th depending on when you ordered, mid October will ship by the 11th to the 14th, and so on. Making it a total of 24 to 28 days depending on when you ordered, pretty close to like we said give or take a few days.

We promise to update you a few times over the next few weeks, and at least once a week from this point forward with relevant information.

- AMT

So its been 3 weeks since they were supposed to start shipping the 128 and 192's

Has ANYONE gotten a unit? Or even a shipping confirmation yet?

Any RELEVANT information coming forward each week?

The questions are based on the credit history for the SSN you entered on the previous page.
A lot of them will not relate to you and so you choose the None of the Above answer.
Most of them should be simple as they relate to past addresses, phone numbers, cities/streets etc you may have lived on.

Anything that might have been reported to a credit agency is fair game to be asked
