81  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many bitcoins do you have in hand now? on: October 14, 2016, 06:34:25 PM
right now i only have around 3 bitcoins. i would buy more but the price is fairly high to me right now. however if the price drops i would buy upto 5 btc.
82  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: October 14, 2016, 04:27:25 PM
If I could earn like 4-7 btc per month then I would be able to afford to quit my job and earn a living with bitcoin as it gives my flexibility to work and I would be my own boss.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will price be at around $700 by end of october on: October 14, 2016, 04:24:41 PM
almost halfway through the month and bitcoin is almost halfway to 700 too. so i guess its possible we can hit 700 but i feel like hitting 700 is kind of a long reach. if i had to guess i would say bitcoin would stay around 650.
84  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 04:21:37 PM
but if you look at the 3 cents fee, its not really that big for a service that bitcoin provides. its fast anonymous and most importanly its secure. other third party currencies may give you all that but they cant give you the "secure" part.
85  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 04:18:38 PM
I rarely use bitcoins in the real world, only digitial. But you can use them anywhere they are accepted.  In the event that they are not accepted as currency, then you can search online to see where they would be accepted as currency. If there is somewhere that will not accept them, you may want to get them educated so that they are well informed as to the benefit of using bitcoin in the future.
86  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: October 14, 2016, 04:16:50 PM
Nowdays it's not possible for me to buy any coins cause bitcoin is kinda expensive right now, when price gets lower than like $550 I will buy some bitcoins for future.
Ofcourse i am holding majority of my bitcoins right now, so if the price increases i make money and if the price decreases ill just buy more.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name me some sites where I can spend my bitcoins on: October 14, 2016, 04:12:51 PM
purse.io This is the best for me,you can buy anything you want from amazon and save 15%
www.namecheap.com  You can register cheap domains and buy hosting using Bitcoin

If you are looking for something specific you will find it with a simple google search or you can use one of the many BTC directories like this one http://spendbitcoins.com/

purse.io isnt really a good option in my opinion. sucks if you arent in the U.S. i can vouch for gyft.com ( the site listed in the previous posts).
its great fast and simple.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: October 14, 2016, 04:07:40 PM
if you gave me 6000 in usd worth in bitcoins lol, I would hold it long term, at my opinion price should increase much more later and also i don't really need money right now. So i will just wait for something big.
Hopefully when the price jumps up in the future ill make much more.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: It took only 11 days to go from 639 to 1148 last time on: October 14, 2016, 02:09:47 AM
it only took 11 days because bitcoin was unknown back then, and it came as a suprise to a whole new continent so everyone jumped on it. but in todays date most people already know about it and arent going to jump on it that easily.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: October 14, 2016, 02:04:43 AM
The big crash was already happened, and now time to seat back and prepare yourself cause bitcoin will absolutely fly to moon in no time.
the crash already happened? i havent seen a crash in bitcoin over the last 2 or 3 months. dont think its going to fly to the moon anytime soon either.
91  Other / Off-topic / Re: Currently, what's your way of generating Bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 02:03:30 AM
well i dont really generate any bitcoins, but my main way of acquiring bitcoins right now is through buying them from an exchange.
but right now im not buying that many because the price is a little high. i might buy more if the price drops.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was bitcoin designed to be global? on: October 14, 2016, 01:41:52 AM
the total amount of bitcoins that was expected to be there doesnt really matter much because bitcoin can always be broken down into smaller and smaller pieces. i believe that bitcoin was designed to be global.
and the only way its going to survive is if it stays global.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 13, 2016, 03:42:13 PM
Im in canada and i have to say bitcoin isnt really that popular here with merchants. I have only seen one private coffee shop accept bitcoin so far.

I expect its alot more popular in the U.S. Im interested to know how popular and accepted bitcoin is in Asia.
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still have time to reach the 21 BTC goal? on: October 13, 2016, 03:40:01 PM
ya i don think im going to get 21btc anytime soon this year. currently i only own about 3 btc so im 1/7 of the way there. but the price is fairly high and stable right now for me to buy more btc.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 13, 2016, 03:38:30 PM
if no one spends any bitcoin it loses its value as a form of currency.it becomes a currency that doesnt transact.

Also if everyone just holds their bitcoin, this decreases the amount of bitcoins being sold to essentially 0,meaning the buy price would go up drastically, therefore increasing the value.  Lips sealed
96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I give BTC away? on: October 13, 2016, 03:32:56 PM
I want to give the smallest practical amount of BTC to friends and family to introduce them to it.
What is the best way to do this?
What are the smallest amounts that can be sensibly transferred?
Thank you.
technically you can send them any amount of btc, no matter how small. but the transaction fee is going to be around 0.0001 so it would only make sense for your transaction to be atleast bigger than that, otherwise you would be paying for to transact than the transaction is actually worth.
97  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you already become a USD millionaire through Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2016, 10:10:57 PM
lol I havent even become a tenth of millionaire in real life.let alone be it through bitcoin. I'm saving up coins right now though in hopes of one day retiring with millions worth in bitcoins. lol one can only dream. Tongue
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: October 12, 2016, 05:11:36 PM
the biggest mistake i can think of is getting scared when you're trading. for example say the price is going down so you dump your coins and cash out. but then the next day price goes back up and u lost a ton of mone.  Cry its what happened to me lol
99  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: October 12, 2016, 04:12:58 PM
mining is not going to be profitable in another 4 years so thats going to bring up the question "why mine if you dont make money" and no miners meaning bitcoin will fall apart. i guess we will have to wait another 4 years to find out.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: wtf is happening? btc drop on: October 12, 2016, 04:09:14 PM
People predicted that he price will be up to thousand dollars by the end of this year. I saw posts in february, but when I see the situation now, I'm sceptical. Should we buy know?
i definitely dont see the price hitting a number around 1000 by the end of the year. I'm hoping it hits 750 by the end. but right now it looks like its not going to break 700 anytime soon.
