81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: June 22, 2018, 04:18:15 PM
The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.

The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.

It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.

Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.

The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.

Face up to reality, the party is over.

If this is game over, then why we are still alive in this furom showing our hard work and still support cryptocurrencies. I think we can not say this words the game over because we are now to far in developing the progress in cryptocurrencies. Do not lost your hope for this situation, its a temporary just looking forward for the success of cryptocurrencies.
82  Other / Off-topic / Re: Backup is important on: June 21, 2018, 11:23:06 PM
Good day, just want to share my experience,
I am using 2fa as my security in my emails and exchange accounts, so one day I nearly lost my phone and that phone holds majority of my pins, 2fa, etc. so I thought I lost all, luckily I found the phone. So now I'm thinking of buying an extra phone for backup. What else do you recommend for backup?

This is the best thing that we must ponder all the time, that all important information that we have especially our private files should have a back up copy. Because like what you have said you accidentally lost your celphone and then all important files that you have are stored in your celphone and you don't have any back up. So its a very big problem, that's why I recomend you my friend to save your files in your private USB storage, external storage devices and also your personal laptop for security reason.

85  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: June 20, 2018, 11:40:07 PM
Hello, community. Political, economic and social news in the media significantly affect the life and behavior of the crowd. How can crypto news affect the movement of the market?

The social media is the number one source of human stupidity that can affect the movement of the price of crypto in the market. They want to kill crypto that's why they make a fake news in crypto and spreading it. So that many people will be afraid to invest their money in cryptocurrency.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we heading for full recovery now? on: June 20, 2018, 04:17:42 PM
There've been some pumps and dumps, but somehow this last rise less than a week ago felt different to me. The prices went up about 20% without going down. The market seems to be surrounded by great news about serious companies talking about adopting blockchain. For now the situation is stable and if we gradually see the market going 20% up every week or two, it would be just right. What do you think? Is this low price nightmare close to being over? Do you still expect full recovery this summer?

Maybe, but we all hope that soon the crypto will be able to recover. Because as we can see most of the price value of crypto in the market are gradually fluctuating. We will see the forecast of some expert that maybe by the month of December the price of crypto will slammed to rise up again, we have to be patience and wait this main event.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: June 19, 2018, 11:44:17 PM
I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?

I think that is true,  their are some big player's behined why the price of bitcoin is not stable. Because of the big player's or the big whales. They can manipulate the price of bitcoin it's their strategies to sell a big volumes of bitcoin when the price is high. And also distributed FUD and the False news to the media so that the price of bitcoin will be affected and the price will fluctuates. And then they have to buy a big volumes of coins in a very low prices.they will eat the small investor's.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not? on: June 18, 2018, 11:18:40 PM
I was doing some research online and I stumbled on this kind of news. https://news.bitcoin.com/since-embracing-bitcoin-robinhood-app-value-jumps-to-5-6-billion/

The article said that robinhood app after embracing cryptocurrency have its value jumped to 6 billion dollars after embracing bitcoin. This is a good sign that more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. If more business will enter into the world of cryptocurrency and will bring back the original purpose of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange rather than just and object of income and a trading item then surely we could revolutionized the world of finance and economy.

With robinhood as an example do you think there will be more business online that will boom and will not go bankrupt due to cryptocurrency?

I guess its hard to determine such facts base on one example so let us wait for the future to unveil itself.

Yes,  actually I have my own business now.  And the capital that I build my business is come from cryptocurrency that I invested. Since I gain that time a big a amount of profits from my investment in cryptocurrency.  I decided to re invest my money again in cryptocurrency and I am very thankful at that time because again my profits grow more and more... So that why I decided to build a business that I call it my own business.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: June 15, 2018, 10:53:29 PM
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?

Yes if you want to gain more profits to your investment it's better hold your coins in a long term. Especially now the price of cryptos in the market are all dropping. As we can see a lot of them are turn to red colors.but it dosen't mean this is bad to cryptos. This is the best time also to buy more crypto coins as much as you can, because the price is very cheap and just hold it until the price  moving up and sell it in a higher price value.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany recognized the bitcoin on: June 15, 2018, 09:40:27 PM
The Ministry of Finance of Germany signed the Decree on recognition of bitcoin  legal tender.  The document specifies that purchases made for cryptocoins, are not taxed! What do you think about it?

Well, it sounds so good another successful career done by bitcoin. The Ministry of Finance of Germany singned a Decree on recognation that accept bitcoin as legal tender in their country. Maybe a lot of people their are going to be happy about this great news and some of them are excited to invest their money in bitcoin and use bitcoin as payment.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: June 15, 2018, 08:51:52 PM
The scammers and crooks finally won! Congratulations because even your fiat will be near worthless at some point too! The economic freedom of the people is once again destroyed by the animalia raised by bad handlers.

To the "Lending" companies (hey man, do you think I can get my money back soon), I salute you.

To Bitmain and "the plan", I salute you.

To Wall Street who always knows my future, I salute you.

To the newbie crypto-millionaires, who only like the part about making easy money, I salute you.

To the lower middle-class who borrowed all the equity in their homes to buy crypto and told everyone about it, I salute you.

To the SEC who will wait until every crypto is worthless to go after anyone, I salute you.

To the old school crypto nerds, who cashed out in 2017 when they saw what was coming, great job!

I still remember the days when getting anything over a 1% yield on a bank account was something to brag about.

One day I will tell my grand kids about the time in 2017 when everyone except politicians were happy and it was a joy to work at any job because you had real money that actually could make you more real money. Time to find the next bubble...

No, bitcoin is not end like this. Just don't lose your hope my friend,  because bitcoin has a capability to rise up the price value in the market again. But not this time because bitcoin incounter a massive fluctuations of price value.Bitcoin is volatile that's is why this situations is normal and it can not kill bitcoin. I know soon the price of bitcoin will back to normal again and there is also a massive inflation by this year.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: June 14, 2018, 03:18:43 PM
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.

This people are the smart investor's, they apply  their sharpies strategies in getting big amount of profits for their investment in cryptocurrencies. The reason why this people still buy BTC because they always grab the best oppurtunity to buy more BTC in a lowest price value. And they hold it and wait until the price inflates in higher price value.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 14, 2018, 12:38:20 AM
If you are walking on the road and enjoying a nice day at the nearby park it's all because someone paid their taxes.
Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

Taxes are mandatory to all people who lives in that certain country, that all people should abide this law. Because this laws has amended that any one found failure to comply their contribution to the government by paying taxes will be charges a case and punishable by law.

Another successful mission of bitcoin. What a great news to hear that Germany recognized the bitcoin as legal tender in their country. This is how bitcoin penetrated it's own popularity. A lot of country's now are acknowledges bitcoin to use as payment in any kind of transactions. We all hope that some other country's we're follows soon to accept bitcoin as legal tender in their country.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: June 10, 2018, 11:02:28 PM
One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. From money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. We always blame the FUD from mainstream media, financial institutions like banks, the government etal. But do you think, the one that would "kill" Bitcoin is actually the nature of it.

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/bitcoin-could-become-illegal-after-its-blockchain-was-discovered-containing-child-abuse/news-story/bf486e6e8de453fd7ad2abba019952dd

I don't think so... Bitcoin will kill itself. Because first of all bitcoin is not design for a tools of crime. It's depends the user's itself how they use bitcoin in good ways or in bad ways. Crime is already exist..  even if the bitcoin was not born before. So we can not blame that because of  bitcoin the crime was created. The goal of Bitcoin is to help people eliminates poverty in good ways.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 09, 2018, 05:54:24 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

As my opinion bitcoin is too risky for invesment compared to bank. But for me,  I prepare to invest my money in bitcoin than the bank. I like bitcoin very much in terms of investment, because you can get a huges amount of profits in a short term period.unlike the bank offered a low interest to your money in a long term period.

97  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN price in December 2018? on: June 09, 2018, 03:36:19 PM
According to some bitcoin analyst bitcoin will break all previous record in December 2018!

"BITCOIN WILL APPROACH THE $15,000 MARK BY DECEMBER 2018"
LINK : http://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-price-prediction-expect-price-to-double-by-the-end-of-2018/

What you guys predict for December 2018 related to bitcoin price??

I think that prediction can be true.  Because the month of December is the peak season. A lot of investor's are buying more bitcoin in the market for their investment. Their is a strong demand of bitcoin in the market, that is why their is a huges movement rise up the price value of bitcoin in the market, because the demand.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2018, 11:48:17 PM
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?

Simply the bank  are afraid of bitcoin because they think they are losing  customers. Because people are more attracted to bitcoin especially when they get big amount of money. Which is the profits of  their investment in bitcoin.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: May 27, 2018, 11:19:11 PM
what's happening in the bitcoin?? Why continue his descent? should we Convert bitcoin in php?? Im worried for this, my bitcoin is still down,

This is the cause of panic selling, people are too greedy they always scared when they see the price fluctuating in the market. There's no reason to panic selling because bitcoin is volatile...
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2018, 10:25:42 PM
Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
Do you see that, dont you?

Some media are spreading fake news about bitcoin because they are paying by the big whales so that the price of bitcoin in the market will full down. It's their strategies in order to manipulate the price of bitcoin in a very low prices.. For their own personal interest...
