When I set up the web wallet java thing yesterday I got a wallet address (as expected) which started with a 1. Today I went to run it again to double check my address for the twitter bounty thing and it is showing a totally different address, which starts with a 3. Wtf? Anyone know why that is happening?

if you want to spread FUD do it somewhere elsecause Nobody cares anyone that doesn't have coins and is Jealous is doing the same, My HDD can fail at any time and all my wallets with Different Coins would be gone, I only have a few backed up onto a External.
Hard drives can fail you know, even brand new ones let alone 5 year old ones.

How about we use some of the bounty to pay a data recovery company to recover the data (the wallet) off the hard drive? I'm sure they could do it in next to no time and restore confidence in COMM. There is also free software for that. I think it is capable of recovering a file, as long ad the same region /bits in the hdd are not overwritten by something else dont forget that no files are actually lost, its just a story by the dev to keep the coins he confirmed this via pm when i asked ^^ Get out of here! I'm doing a research project on coin distribution for both older and new coins. I'm interested on gathering some data for top addresses and how much of the coins the top100 have. This along with the number of people (addresses) actually holding any amount of coins.
I have some info from bitinfocharts on a few coins but I really do need some data on other coins along with less exposed or new ones.
If anyone knows an explorer with this feature drop a line.
