5.5K blocks to go, let's see if the autistic mute dev has the skill set to pull it off.
1. My son is autistic. 2. You owe me a beer for making me spit my beer all over the place you witty witty bastard.

Someone just scooped up cheap coins. Congrats 0.00006498 5977.27646961 0.38840342 0.00006500 77364.96184869 5.02872252
I pity the fool who sold his stack for pennies.
+1 That guy's going to cringe looking back at this Kinda like how i cringe when i use to own 1200 dash back when it was $1.50 .... i had weak hands back then.

I always thought it was a brilliant move for vtr to put 2fa into their wallet, cause one of the first things i thought was "whats keeping some hacker from getting your coins with a trojan?". Well now we know

How many coins does the dev have, is he loaded up and incentivised?
3% premine You can't really trust that number though as it was 2 years ago... he may have more, or less. -pickle

Buy the POLO listing rumours and *always* invest more than you can afford to lose.
Thats why we have TWO kidneys!

Yeah me neither, why sell now when nothing has been released yet? IF this dev delivers a working Torrent this coin can be top 10 on Coinmarketcap no doubt
Because by selling about 12% of my stack I've made back almost half what I laid out. Now my risk is minimised and I still make massive profits when we moon. Also it lets others get in at what is still a great entry price and adds to the volume I cashed out my original bitcoin investment long ago. If i go bust, the worst i can say is i broke even

Hard fork now looking like March 20, 12am
Nah... 7500 blocks to go... i think it'll still be on the 19th afternoon...
|
|
|
So close to $1m marketcap!
|
|
|
Has anyone tried submitting vtr to poloniex, yobit, etc... or just spamming on twitter? Lol
|
|
|
Lol, we're up 25% ... I'd say we're doing pretty good considering 60% of alt coins seem to be up. I think a lot of attention is on dash and etherium since they're pumping right now. -pickle

Possibly 20th basing it on 1 block per minute for 9100 minutes, thought I know those block times are just rough estimates I'm optimistic... march 18th

Which dev stated there would be a fork at 1300000...
Is this a question? I don't know. I think he's just saying that the dev called it a fork, so we call it a fork, too. Too much cutlery in crypto these days Yeah, sorry. I'm typing on my phone while heading to work. Sorry if my last post was unclear.

where can we see some work? github client's latest commit is oct 16, how is a hard fork coming?
I think Leigh is using the term "fork" too loosely. The code to switch to a PoS 3 algo is already in the code. It's just an algo switch like a coin moving from PoW after the initial mining period to PoS. It's not a fork, because there's no blockchain split between the old code and new code. No-one has code that will continue using PoS 2 on this coin after block 1,300,000, so there should be no new split. There was a fork, when the PoS 2 + 3 code was released, and the fork would have happened at the first PoS 2 block mined. Since then, there hasn't been a fork, and there won't be one unless the dev releases new code to cause a new fork. Which dev stated there would be a fork at 1300000... -pickle

Start by checking the clocks on your computer.
Unless you or your computer is trying to attack the network, that should fix the issue.
Thanks! Very weird, my clock was showing correct time, but when I checked vTorrent start time it was showing 12 hours earlier (swapped am & pm), so blocks looked like they were coming from the future. I resynced PC time with windows time server and all good now Someone was cheating at candy crush

a 0.8.2.1 node has been online for the past 35 minutes...
ok, so now we need to know if 0.8.2.x is going to be compatible with 0.8.1.x clients or if this is another hard fork situation. I'm guess that since we forked off 0.7.x clients, 0.8.x.x will run on the same chain so the next major fork would be 0.9.x.x much guesswork I would assume that 0.9.x.x would be the fork tbat would include the torrent... just a guess though. I've got really no insight into whats going on. Edit: but i think its important to note that there is constantvwork on this project, and this should be irrefutable proof of that. -pickle
