i was not able to get out my funds from cryptsy. Withdraw for BTC, LTC and DASH has "issues", wathever it is.
DOGE was the way to get my funds ( it was a bit lowert han 1 BTC ) out of the exchange.
For sure it was a 10% loss in the end but better than nothing and beeing goxed in the end.

Which is now the best way to enter the DASH market ? Poloniex ?

Any idea how long it takes until cryptsy starts a withdraw.

Still no record found at cryptsy webside after 2 hours.
Got a mail to confirm the withdraw, nothing more.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: April 23, 2015, 06:09:12 AM

Dash is instamined but where did the money go?, Dash has too many cute REDHEADS!  DASH has too much innovation!  DASH is too DECENTRALIZED!  DASH is getting too big!  DASH has too many plans!  DASH IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD!
IT MUST BE STOPPED!

To answer the above accusations:

1.  The instamined coins were mostly all sold off as soon as a market place opened up, and Evan was buying them up as well, which really made me realized he valued them.  I know most if not all of the #1 wallet, the unknown owner of which we dubbed "#1" bought his coins over time, while we watched him accumulate.  Was this Evan?  I don't think so, because as it was accumulated, there was quite a value on those coins, so Evan would have had to have been quite rich.... or maybe his is quite rich in Bitcoin and was able to do this?  I have no idea??  But it was definitely distributed and redistributed, and the instamine has nothing to do with the distribution of coins today.

2.  This is a phenomenon that only shows that there is magic at play.  Never go against obvious magic forces that are telling you they're supporting a project.

3.  Somehow Dash innovation has a direct correlation to the number of redheads on the team.

4.  Decentralization is a problem.  How did Evan et al do it?  It's a mystery of genius that must be studied and written about for any hope of understanding.

5.  Consequently, indeed DASH is set to grow so huge, the Rothschilds will look tiny in comparison.

6.  The web of innovations and plans that are about to kick off will mimic and expand on the world wide web in ways one couldn't possibly imagine at this time!

7.  Yes, DASH may very well kill the banking industry as we know it and cause the governments to return to being For the people By the people!

8.  I'm afraid it may very well be too late to stop this ball from rolling...........

Good points tante, but be aware of whats the real enemy that will never allow some points you made.
The real world money which we had over 5000years was killind within the last century - gold and silver - by banksters and private owned central banks. They made people think that a real asset without counterparty risk is worth nearly nothing in comparison to papermoney that is only based on a promise of someone that will evetually pay back their debt. People in the US and Europe are too stupid to think about all these money related thinks, so the banksters have a easy game to play.

It will only be a dream that a money from people for people will become reality. In reality a handfull numbers of people fight against millions of criminal subjects.

I think vertoe did not remember dumping 20-30k DRK a few days ago which made him 60-80 k€.
He is acting like a small boy whining, very unprofessional for a man who made more money out of nearly nothing than others who have to work hard a full decade for such a profit.

A gentleman goes away without any word and enjoy instead of whining.
He made so much money with drk ( before with ltc ) and is able to invest in other projects.
All you need to make money is money - so he should be thankfull each day to evan.

Very poor he is acting right now.

Maybe he has exactly my 5k€ in his poket as i did invest in ltc when it was 20€ each.
Am i whining ? Yes i do - but because i lost money i was working hard to get it.

Yesterday there was a hugh sell order on cryptsy ( i think it was more than 100 BTC @ 0.0185)

Was it filled or removed ?

It was moved down to .01800 briefly and then disappeared from what i could tell.
Thanks

is there an easy way to set up masternodes on my own or is it kind of technical

There are easy to follow guides, but for sure you need some experiance using linux.
If you do not have, there are a lot of guys here setting up one for you on a low cost.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: March 11, 2015, 07:38:42 AM
My masternode count shows 2092 masternodes. So we lost a bit more than 200 nodes.
But consider that it is much easier to close one than open a new one.
After redistributing a lot of coins it will take a bit longer until the new nodes are online again.
Maybe otoh can say something if he has set up new ones.

I think it should seriously be considered lowering the amount needed for a MN. If it were half of the original value then sales would increase and there would be far more masternodes in existence.
I don't think we lost a single node. We are still well above 2300. You guys are really running out of ideas.
EDIT : Well played Flowerpots! Beaten by a smidge!

2305 MN's on my 0.11.1.25

Holding strong Smiley  Why do they bother lying?
I did not try to lie. I only post my result of masternode count. Its now 2087.
To double check i did delete my peers.dat and did start the ./darkcoind again
Will post results soon while over time the number is growing slowly over time

@tao, nobody is running out of any ideas. For me it is a fact the we are close under 2100 MN.
Use the function masternode count on your own MN and you will see the number.
The number you can see on any website is maybe not correct.

I do not see a problem with comming down the number of nodes. Some guys did panic and sold their coins so it is normal that the number is going down. It also normal that it needs some time until the new owners are
online with nodes again.

Dont start again the discussion with lowering the 1k coins needed for set up a node.
The 1k is a perfect selection. Still more than 40% of the whole supply is invested on the long term solution.

How long is Kraken able to igonore DRK ?

After being away from the crypto markets a few months i can see there are not much coins left over with a real value. DRK was holding very well and was going sideways while others are all on the steady decline.

For sure it all depends on BTC and the mainstream adoption, but DRK has proved its the only one in ALT scene
that is worth to stay in instead of giving up. All the last rising stars like stellar, counterparty and NXT are going down and down. The old DRK competitors are done and seems to be lost in nowhere.

With instantx, anon feature, masternode owners, the roadmap in front of us and a big devteam its only logical DRK will become #2 behind BTC. Crypto world is only a short term related game but if you are able to step back a bit and try to see a bigger picture its absolutly clear.

Maybe otoh was able to see this bigger picture before others do and with his BTC in the background
ha was able to take advantage of all the things lying clearly in front of us all.

Its hard work to keep your invest into cryptpworld with the bad bad BTC year 2014. DRK was the best place to be and it will be in 2015 also.

I am sure that i will have no chance to get back my invest if did't switch over to DRK in 2014.

Hey the barely english speaking overeager pumpers have arrived.

If the barely english speaking people use french, spanish, german or dutch you guys directly crying because you do not understand anything - think about that !

Maybe your Mr. President want to make you think the the US is the center of the world, but maybe its not - think about that too !!!

Im thinking of converting some btc to DRK.
Just wondering if now is a good time to do so

THink about BTC at 3dollars

Dark have hit 17$ last years on a speculative pump. Now its real.  Think about Smiley

For sure but money has left the cryptomarkets. Only fresh money can come from selling ltc or btc. The moment new money comes to the market is only if btc starts rising again and sorry i cant see this momentary

Hey guys, i see a lot of names i have seen 10 months ago.
For sure we are happy to see the price is back a little bit.
I was buying @1$, @2, @8, @12$

So all this is giving back only a little bit of the big loss for some of us  Shocked
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: February 11, 2015, 11:05:40 AM
I lost all my confidence in cryptoworld a few month ago as i destroyed around 5k€.
I have see this kind of pump often but i do not have any idea where this one will stop.

No big chinease players are in for now, btc-e big enemy of DRK on the sideline.
Only big exchange is bitfinex.
DRK was very strong over the last months with the steady decline of BTC.

DRK always has delivered in the past ....

Maybe it could go back to 7-8$ maybe 0.014 was already the high.
I still have over 1MN of my investment and will hold it whatever it willl do.

I have a question regarding masternodes.
On average how much do you get paid per node each month?
secondly, i take it that these same nodes take care of IX payments as well as dark send?

- 0.493289 DRK / day
- yes

Estimated daily payout for an active node (blocks with MN payments last 24h: 91.39%): 0.22 DRK/day (Last Refreshed: Wed Feb 11 2015 08:41:15)

enforcement is OFF so dont expect 0.49 per day Wink

- 0.22 is wrong
- there's one pool with about 8 % of the overall hashrate which does not pay the Masternodes. You do the math. The result will not be 0.22
- enforcement will be back ON in a couple of days

Thats the reason why i did not get paid sice 8 days now. For sure i was hit by the nonpaing pool
