I have a lot of friends that already overcome their addiction in smoking they commit on sports and daily exercise for aiding their respiratory system that has been exposed on smoke for a long time.

OMG, they had a new rules in bitcointalk? I missed that, because I'm so busy in my newly job. Though I need to get 10 merit points before I rank up right? I think its hard to us to earned merit if the other users send this.
Yes, you need to get 10 merit points before you rank up to member. It was implemented to improved the quality of post within the forum. So if you could make a constructive and informative post definitely they will give you merit, and please avoid qouting that entire post of OP so we could read your post directly. |

Signature campaign meant for adversiting an ICO within the forum and it would resulted a huge impact on bounty campaign. I think we should leave it to bounty managers they have to become more strict when it comes to validating our post during checking of campaign accomplishment.

In terms of ranking up on to Jr. Member you don't need it but as for future usage I think you should better understand that getting a merit was not that simple. If I were you, I wont ignore it so that wont regret it later. |

In merit system only member upto higher rank are able to give it but in thanks system all ranks are allowed to give it and the counter for this doesn't matter for our ranking unlike merit.
Seems like you still don't understand on how the merit system works. Even newbies can give merits to other members as long as they receive some to their posts, from other sources. This will give them sMerits that they can use to merit others. Still, the "Thanks Button" is a pretty idea. It is nice to know that you are being appreciated every now and then. Oh thanks for clarification, now I have 1 sMerit. I just want to add another benefits of having Thanks button. It much easier to backread if they had less post on a given topic. |

I think this would be a nice idea. Thanks isn't the same as merit or activity, it's more of a personal message to the poster.
It isn't worth putting much effort into adding it to the forum, but if it is easy, then I think it would be a useful addition.
I'm with Jet Cash, this is a good idea for me since giving thanks will also reduce people who shit post like " Thankyou for.." and also giving genuine thanks will also make people happy and appreciated and they will continue to strive hard. The OP stated that "thanks" button will not be same as merit since it will not be a rank requirement i think this would be just work as Token of Appreciation. +1 to this suggestion if this is not that hard to implement to the forum. Same. I created a new topic which I think is not a repeat because it's about a new issue on forum and I thought it would be good for us filipinos to engage on that topic and have a little brainstorming for us to be able to help each other. But the post got deleted and I'm puzzled why. I don't think they even read my post probably they just saw the topic and assume its the same as others. There was no topic like that because if there was I could have just replied to the thread and join in. I wish there's a child board where we can discuss those like I can freely discuss things here in the main thread. Seems our local thread are more strict than the main thread here.
This is so accurate, I think there should be off-topic in filipino local board because even Meta Section-like thread are getting deleted there. So that we can talk about what's happening in the forum lately.

There are similar in some aspect aside from time duration. In trading your focus was on currency changes time to time and its better to trade when you have a big capital. While at investment you'll just put your money and let it be until it grows. So for limited funds investment was a good option but make sure to put it at the right time where btc value was low. |

Maybe you should try to join signature, telegram or social media campaign from that you could gain experienced/ knowledge on how does crypto-world works. There's a lot of opportunities that you could find along the forum even for a newbie like you. |

I'll suggest maybe only those moderator had an authority to give demerits because some members will abuse it for their own personal agenda and it will cause of tension on both parties. The essence of forum was to share ideas and informations, to built a community were we interact online with friendly approached. But I know that our population are growing continuously and those moderators were also busy on their personal life so they might able to monitor us 24/7, however we can simply help them by reporting those unnecessary post.

I'll used spreadsheet to organized my activities in my campaign and I'll make sure that I have updated it before the week ends. Some campaign required to post your work into the thread so spreadsheet was very useful to record your activities within bounty campaign. Track it using url, date post, work week, stakes given on each participating in.

Contamination in bodies of water is one of the major environmental issues especially as we increase our production of potentially harmful substances. With the population growing exponentially, water resources are getting polluted. There is no shortcut to stop this water pollution. One way is to use less plastic and switch to reusable items. There are many ways but at home, a simple proper garbage disposal will be a great help in preventing water pollution.
Plastic bottles and bags represents the biggest threat to the water-bodies now. They take somewhere between 500 and 1,000 years to decompose and till then, they will choke the water bodies and contaminate the quality of the water. We need to find a technological solution to this issue. So are saying that if we manage to removed all the garbage underneath the sea with help of our technology then is it okay for polluting our water resources as long as we have a technological solution for it? |

The new merit system: The good, the bad, and the ugly! The good: Only the quality posters will rank up. The bad: Even if you post quality contents you may not get many merits by the people. The ugly: When you post great content many people are lazy to click and go to the next page and add the merit(s). Share your thoughts about this merit system latest development, thanks  Your Subject title was annoying, really 99.9% can you proved that? If you want to hear our thought with the new system maybe you should change the title first with subjective approach. If your concern are those quality post that will not be recognized I think in marketplace there was a thread where they given a merit to those informative post just give them the link and they check it. The objective of new system was for the benefit also of our members, it builds them to interact with more informative way, they might took a research first before they reply to the topic and with exchanging of informations all the members will gain on it. |
