I wanted to participate in the Iagon pre-sale. I joined what I thought was the official Iagon telegram. Turned out it wasn't. I followed the instructions on the pinned message, which directed me to send ETH to a specified wallet address. Turned out it was all a scam, and I lost 5 ETH.
Really sucks. The lesson is be careful out there.
That is where you lost it. Why should you send ETH to any address all in the name of receiving more of ETH. You should know that is a scam. Well, lesson learnt. |

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

If only you can wait till the last quarter of the year, I believe market will soar higher by then but if you are afraid of losing your capital then you can set loss limit. |

Lately I am reading a lot of posts asking: is this airdrop a scam? Is that free ICO a scam?
So I am wondering how can something that doesn't cost you a penny be a scam. Sure, they get your email adress and maybe a ETH Adress, but how can you really be scamed with only this informations? I am not talking about airdrops that require kyc registration, that for sure can be dangerous.

Firstly, let me correct the notion that some ICOs are free. ICOs cannot be free, you definitely pay for it before you receive the token. While all airdrops are free and almost 80% of them are scam. |

I really sympathize with you, but there is absolutely nothing you can do about the hacked account. It's gone forever! Just create a new wallet and be wary of the way you use MEW. It's not safe to enter MEW with your private key. |

Honestly speaking, some airdrops are worth it. Recently, I have been making some little cash out of some airdrops. Still hodling to some bounty tokens which have not even been listed.

If you are hodling ETH, pls still hodl. Something big is about to happen in the market. As you can see bitcoin is mooning right now, some altcoins will follow suit.

This is not a curse op! It happens to virtually everybody here. The last time I held a token (shivom) it sinks totally and I sold another token which rose 50% after 2 days. That is market for you.
