81  Economy / Speculation / Re: CAN BITCOIN EVER PASS THE LAST ATH? on: August 02, 2018, 05:07:05 PM
After the dip from 100k to 40k people will ask the same question.

Bitcoin will definitely pass the last ath. It is just a matter of time. From 2014 to 2017 it took 3 years. I suspect it wont be more then one year this time. We could easily have a new ath as soon as desember 2018.

Seeing PRiVCY being listed at CMC now and at the same time collaborating with TESTAMENT Band is just another headway and stepping stone to greater heights to steeply compete for higher victory in the history of Cryptos. I can see you Guys booming with your Airdrops and Tokens hold for bigger bonus offer coming which is very much amazing. It's just still unfortunate that as much as I am putting in all efforts to support this great Project, I am yet not eligible for the Airdrop. I only played around with just very little/minute giveaway Tokens. The Bot kept coming up that I am yet to send the 0.001 Transaction which had been done. How I wish this next round does not elude me.

The best airdrops will be AD11-AD20. Just buy more than 10k coins and join the investors club to get a bonus factor. There's where the real juicy airdrops going to be.  Grin

Metal band Testament + privcy = $$$ Smiley
Testament is huge band with a lot of fans. It's huge exposure. Also Coinmarketcap listing is pretty good exposure as well. Only missing Crex24 change on CMC.  Hope they will add soon.
Yes they will add soon.. plus we need a better exchange to get more exposure like kucoin or cryptopia.. and i think within one month we will be on many good exchanges
Kucoin I agree, but cryptopia is old exchange and looks like they stays in same place for long now, without any upgrades and same volumes. I think Crex at this point is better then Cryptopia. But Kucoin is expensive I believe.

It is more likely that cryptopia exist in two years time then kucoin. The longer an exchange have existed the longer its expected life span will be.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PayCon [CON] X13 ALGO - PoS on: July 31, 2018, 09:05:07 AM
Cryptopia will be delisting CON. August 24, 2018 it will be gone.

https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=9f10a6dcdb679f0032a664a14a9619d6

So part of the reason is no working block explorer.

We need to get ahead of this. It would be wise get a block explorer and keep this coin listed.
oh wow, that sounds way too harsh, I think. is it going to be a serious blow for PayCon's reputation? really thinking that a good project such as this one does not deserve bad publicity over something as minor as that. Let is see where this goes. Do you agree?

Paycom haven't been a good project since Cresington left more then 2 years ago. It is a dead shitcoin and should be delisted and forgotten unless someone takes over the development.

I hope the takeover is successful. But paycon today is is worthless.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - 4/2/2018 Now Live on: July 25, 2018, 07:05:20 PM
Anyone else having Mercatox issues today? Have a stuck withdrawal from Merc to the vault, "processing" for over 12 hrs now...

I have been wondering about this exchange. Is it safe to buy/sell NOTE on this exchange.
Would love to hear some of the experiences from using this exchange, especially when depositing and withdrawing NOTE coins.

Well, I think they are having "growing pains" is all. The DNotes wallet was unavailable for about a week earlier this month and now my withdrawal from yesterday is "stuck" in process. Their tech support is very responsive and courteous but a bit slow. So, just be careful and realize there may be a hitch or two along the way...

PS: The interface is very easy to use once you get used to it, not as cluttered as many others are.

Thanks RJF, "growing pains" sounds great. This means that volume can expect to increase for the coins listed there. They sound like Poloniex. The wallets are always unavailable. I even had one of my withdrawals stuck for 5 months. Their support really suck/ed. I guess the bigger you get the harder it is to stay on top of everything.

@DNotes Any new exchanges we can expect?

We have been working with a few, but of course it's never been a definite until it's actually listed. In fact I just received a response from one yesterday asking for more information, which is always a good sign.

That's great news. Volume is looking very good on CoinMarketCap. Should get even better when NOTE gets listed on more high volume exchanges.
I have my fingers crossed. Hopefully that exchange will list our lovely NOTE coin Grin

Regarding Poloniex, they seem to be having some issues as of late. Who was it that bought them out?

Circle, https://www.recode.net/2018/2/26/17053194/circle-poloniex-acquisition-400-million

What issues are you finding?

Apparently, the State of Delaware, where they are incorporated, sent letters to a large percentage of their customers asking if they were having problems using the exchange, especially making withdrawals. Since they are incorporated in Delaware, that's not a good sign.

https://bitcoinprice.media/us-delaware-doj-reaches-out-to-poloniex-crypto-exchange-users-if-they-have-an-issue.html

Red flags if you ask me. Glad I stopped using them. I'm just worried that so many people use exchanges to store their cryptos in those wallets. I did this when I first started with BTC. MtGox should be a prime example why you never leave your coins in an exchange wallet.

Some seem unable to learn from other peoples mistakes. I have written so many warnings about storing coins on the exchanges, but i don't think I have convinced a single person yet. One dude even said that he think the coins is much safer on the exchange then in his own wallet...
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PayCon [CON] X13 ALGO - PoS on: July 23, 2018, 07:31:05 PM
Con was a fun coin as long as it was promoted as a con/parody. After the last takeover the project died. Con was never supposed to be taken seriously.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: July 20, 2018, 05:56:29 AM
Perhaps I will express an unpopular opinion, but it seems to me that we will not see x100 any more, no matter what kind of a token or coin.

There will most likely be several coins/tokens that will go 100x in the future.

Still, most of the coins shilled in this thread is way more likely to drop 99% of their  current value.
88  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: July 18, 2018, 08:11:21 PM
Our new software will fix this and many other long standing issues.

New software will not fix your terrible customer support. That is all on you.

And this is the core of swcs problems. It is sad to think about what position swc could have had today if they had seized the opportunity they had a few years ago.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⚡⚡🔐[PRiVCY]🔐⚡⚡[7th Airdrop - Starts 21th July]✅[PoW/POS]✅ on: July 16, 2018, 06:37:42 AM
In the 7th Airdrop, do we still need to send 0.001 Priv again to the address?

It is a one time ting to prove that you don't use an exchange adress to receive your airdrop. If you already have sent 0.001 you are fine.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bottlecaps 2.1 UPDATE REQUIRED - HARDFORK JULY 4 2014 to 200% Annual PoS on: July 16, 2018, 06:33:49 AM
So did a bit of calculating on the remainder of the CAP fund.  There is 22.5 million left.  Here's my thoughts.

1) Leave 5 million untouched to stake and use for bounties or whatever.
2) Put 2MM on exchange to sell at 10-20 sats. Help fill out the sell side and use it for putting some back on the buy side as well.
3) Move the remainder to my personal wallet.(15MM ish)

Over the last 4 to 5 years, I have put in 500 to 600 hours of work, pretty much with no much to gain. What money I did get, was based on what I bought or staked/mined on my own, no premining, or anything like that.

I would like to do a small bit more of work for CAP, but unless get something out of my time, I just can't commit to anything. I have so very little time these days, and I can't continue to work for free.  So the 15 million  at 10 sats, would average out to about $12-15/hr give or take, with the older work and the planned new work.   Considering my current skill set is worth close to $90/hr in the market place. I think this is pretty fair.

So let me know everyone thinks.  If this seems un-fair, no worries. I will have to kill the reminder of the fix money and I'll just move on.

1. ok
2. No. Terrible idea. Move the coins to 1. or burn them. 2 million coins is a meaningless amount either way. If someone put up a 2 btc buy wall at 10 sats someone would dump 20 million coins fast. There is no need to "help fill out the sell side".
3. ok. 4,37% of total supply.

Yup!  worked with them a bit. 200 confirmations before depo is accepted.  So let's get some volume on there now! Smiley

Good job!

200 confirmations seems like a very good solution.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethreum Price By end Of Year on: July 09, 2018, 06:07:00 PM
It is meaningless to speculate in $$ value since it only depends on Bitcoin.

My prediction is that ethereum is below 0.045 btc  by the end of the year.

I have missed the last 4 airdrops.  Angry

Do I have to do anything to get active again, other then to be active and follow the rules?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Datacoin - Censorship-Free Data Storage on: July 06, 2018, 10:25:32 AM
What is the official website?

datacoin.info or datacoininfo.org

Coinmarketcap links to datcoin.info, but this thread points datacoininfo.org, so I guess that is the correct one. It might be a bit confusing, and if you google "datacoin" you also end up on datacoin.info.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: June 29, 2018, 06:17:30 PM
your project looks interesting, but have you any partners, who want to take you offer? i mean, not much people will use your platform in the start, and you should to find another way to advertising.

WTF is this? Are there bot accounts operating here? or complete idiots with no understanding of anything?

What platform can this idiot be talking about when this scam coin is just an ERC20 token on ETHEREUM NETWORK?  Roll Eyes

There are tons of bots. Incredible that you haven't noticed earlier lol. A lot of people reply to them as well.  Roll Eyes
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: June 22, 2018, 09:27:51 AM
Price is falling lower and lower, transactions backed up on the blockchain, non existent support and trade volume is minuscule (which means no-one is using it and it’s very hard to actually buy/sell - look this up to understand why this matters). Might not be a ‘scam’ in the traditional sense but it’s clearly on the rocks, there’s only so long this can be propped up by marketing, hype and people on social media who have no understanding about cryptocurrency beyond it having something to do with lambos and the moon.

I concider electromeum a scam for simple reasons.

1. The project is completely meaningless
2. The people behind the ico are clearly incompetant
3. They launched electroneum to make money

It was doomed to fail. And the ico happened (for electroneum) at the best possible time, at the peak of the hype cycle.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best sites you get your news from on: June 21, 2018, 09:10:51 PM
You can easily find about big news on twitter if you follow the right people. Reddit and Bitcointalk are also good sources, even if they have a lot of trolls and shit posters.

Agree with twitter. That is the without doubt the best place to keep up to date.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much is your altcoin down since January? on: June 19, 2018, 06:02:46 PM
My worst holding have dropped from 3500 satoshi at peak to 315 satoshi now. That is more then -91%.  Huh

And it might as well drop another -91% to 28 satoshi.

Thats the problem with shitcoins. Most will die. And there is really no bottom before 0.
