Yeah true. There's always blind optimism to find in the threads of coin during rise in price. There's also trolls coming out of every little corner to lay a pile of steaming fud right in the middle of all the joy. Ahh joke a side. You can't compare quark, cinni and blackcoin to darkcoin though. Drk has the most devoted dev i've ever seen. Dark solves a problem many people have been looking to solve. Not the only anon coin though, but this one is riding the huge wave of publicity and it's gaining marketcap from many other dying alts as we speak. It jumped from 13 place to 3 place in a matter of weeks. Please don't compare drk to other alts when the circumstances aren't the same.

I sort of did the same thing a while ago and just sat there in pain watching the charts. Then i bought back in at 50% loss and had to have a few days to process my own stupidity but know i'm happy because if i didn't buy back I'd be down to 90% loss.  Note to self "dont get high and paranoid while watching bitcoinwisdom as your only entertainment"

Damn!! I have this app called darkcoin priceticker on my phone and I catch myself waking up in the middle of the night and half awake half a sleep checking the price. Then it just skyrocketed to 0.0275 and i litterally thought I was dreaming and I got kind of mad becease I don't like it when I get happy and then disappointed afterwards. Now I'm wide awake several hours before I'm suppose to get up, but i doens't bother me at all because I'm getting closer to my dream of travelling the worlds with a backpag every minute due to darkcoin! Like most technical patterns, the cup with handle pattern is really little more than a variation of another technical pattern.  In this case that pattern is the double top.  The pattern begins after a well-liked stock rallies to a new high following a positive fundamental development.  As the stock surges investors feel increasingly comfortable paying higher prices but there comes a point when the "story" of the stock fails to convert new believers.  Slowly, the stock begins to drift lower as those seeking to lock-in profits outnumber those intrigued by the story.  Although most of the fundamental news is still positive, many investors begin to question if the stock really is worth the prevailing market price and over time a substantial decline begins.

This process creates an important technical peak (top#1).  As the stock nears a twenty percent decline from the recent highs (this decline could reach fifty percent in bear markets) buyers begin to reassert themselves and the stock stabilizes and a reaction low occurs.  From this point forward, the bias begins to tilt gradually higher.  During this phase the stock may be the subject of positive Wall Street analyst comments, a new product announcement or legal victory.  As the rally gains steam sentiment improves dramatically and new buyers begin to talk about certain new highs but those that purchased the stock at or near top#1 get ready to sell.  These investors may have been waiting as long at 12 weeks for an opportunity to sell their positions without incurring a loss and they are not dissuaded by all of the new found bullish talk.  Just short of the old highs at top#1 aggressive selling begins on no specific news but in reality some investors that bought near top#1 have already begun to sell.  The stock begins to work significantly lower on increased volume creating a second, well defined top (top#2).

Thanks for the advice everyone!!! It helps to get it out in the open and hear some perspectives on the matter. Now my btc is back from cryptsy, i can breath proper again and I'm now setting up my transfer to mintpal as we speak. No more breaking my balls on cryptsy thinking I've lost it all!

Now this is just my day!! I placed an order on crypsy and then it disapperared. No open orders, no sign of where my btc or drks went. Have someone tried this before? Its just gone, no sign and i'm not kidding. Freaking a little out here!

Hello everybody out there!

First of all i want to say thanks for all the great reading from this thread i've been doing this last month and a half. An inspirering community to say at least!

I post it now because I a made the biggest mistake EVER!! I invested in dark, just a little a while a go and then decided to move more funds to drk so that i could eventually run a masternode. Then i finally got to a little over a 1000 drks and i was happy trying to read up on how to set up a masternode. Then the catastrophy sat in and I got high with some friends who was into daytrading. Suddenly massive red candlesticks appeared and it started to plummit. My friends and I high as we were, started to panic and started to talk about all sorts of crazy theories. Then we decided it was a good idea to sell and wait for it to hit 0.005-0.006 again and then buy in to perhaps set up 2 masternodes. (Greed oh the greed)  Then the rest is history we've all seen the graph. All though I am happy for drk and thinks it's highly undervalued, I am currently hoping for it to take a little dip before i dive back in.  Now i humbly ask your oppinion on what to do becease I'm honourstly getting several grey hairs from looking at the graph all the time. Should i buy in now and eat my loss of +450 drk and then slowly start to build up again. Should I wait for it to drop to 0.010 or maybe lower? I know this a actually the classic (will it rise or drop) question but let this be a scarecrow for all people with weak hands (Or just people stupid enough to make panic-decisions while beeing weedparanoid. Hope you can laugh at my story or use it as a bedtime-story to scare your kids from getting high and feeling wise!
