One of our fans (MeneerT on bitcointalk) is organizing a video contest that will be funded from the undistributed funds.
Here are the rules:
Post a video about the unique features of Byteball you like the most. The best 2 videos receive rewards: $500 in Bytes for the best, $250 in Bytes for the second best.
You need to write in the title Byteball (so that we are able to find your video). Write your Byteball address in the description box of the video (so that we are able to send your bytes easily). Your video is new and at least 90 seconds long. The video must be uploaded from today to 1 May inclusive, and the link to the video must posted at least here or in #video_competition channel on slack.
Then, the community on slack, bitcointalk, and telegram will say which videos they like the most. Based on that and MeneerT's own preference he will make a selection of the best 5 videos and thereafter the community fund's trustees will take the final decision about the best 2.
The winners will be announced on May 7.
The deadline of the video contest has been reached in all time zones of planet earth. Between 16 April and 1 May inclusiv various videos are published on Youtube with Byteball in the title. https://youtu.be/SROUuwbHB-k 21-apr-2018 Crypto Stalker https://youtu.be/T0Nz3wEBAe8 23-apr-2018 John https://youtu.be/SPHueJvf_A0 24-apr-2018 John https://youtu.be/93jnbZsudmw 25-apr-2018 Milán Horváth https://youtu.be/z_YCcQTOxWU 27-apr-2018 Paul Murray https://youtu.be/FcdJ-3i2i78 26-apr-2018 Paul Murray https://youtu.be/xNNa4i9Rwf8 30-apr-2018 Bernd Meininger https://youtu.be/ZlSjFqwcw7U 30-apr-2018 Louis Thomas https://youtu.be/fJWPnjmre98 30-apr-2018 h3ym0nk3y At this moment the videos of Crypto Stalker and Milán Horváth are privat, what means they can only be found true a direct link. I hope that both uploaders decide to change that into public, after all Byteball deserves the attention. Last but not least, the video of h3ym0nk3y is not new, it was a little bit naughty to delete this video from 21 february and upload it yesterday If any of you want to share some thoughts of which videos are truly the best 2 shout it out here or on slack, your opinion counts too! I have a slight preference for the following 5 in random order: John, Louis Thomas, Paul Murray, Bernd Meininer and Milán Horváth. It is up to the community fund's trustees to make the final verdict ! Milan gets my vote My opinion for first winner would be Louis Thomas, because is a youtuber with a lot followers and the video is been viewed by thousands. He worked very hard for his subscribers in the past, for this video to have 5460 view now. Second winner in my opinion, Milan. Another thing, byteball team, could you repeat the video contest using the full moon calendar as last date to post a video or to announce a winner, you could make it sounds like you substitute the last distribution model on full moon for this one, the video contest.

Not that you can give CMC any real credibility since it is such a flawed piece of crap.
But even taking that into consideration (which most noobs do not) seeing this at position 104 is ludicrous.
I would suggest an immediate main forum page dedicated byteball thread and posting reward structure right now along with one last airdrop for 15% after 2-3 months of holding that thread there on page 1 and only for those that have their BB address linked to their sigs and posting in that thread. Therefore the 15% airdrop would not even come near to depleting the left overs by 1/2
The main board is still a major jumping point for noobs. Finding byteball now in this ann section is unlikely before stumbling into some awesome sounding new shit ico that is going do extract their btc.
The main board here still beats any other forum of advertising.
I would advise we get on to this asap. A catchy thread title naming it as the most undervalued project on this board.
And I suggest to airdrop on Chinese moon festival which is in August I believe , and only to chinese registered email and jumio Id account holder. And Airdrop only relative to a logarithmic value in dollars or yuans terms, not by percent. Chinese market is very important, very important. Chinese people hava WeChat with a chinese yuan wallet in it. What is that mean to byteball? Since Byteball wallet is very fast with a lot of real world aplications, chinese can trade among them self, they are very honest at trading they can send bytes for yuans instanly. Also most Chinese phone users are Android, beacause they have many chinese phone brand which are unkown to us, and all are android. And Forget Iphone, they will ask Tony later, And Tony will say No to Iphone They also like gambling and maybe binary trade will florish there. Of course they travel a lot so I hope "fly delay, byteball pay" also florish. And I have seen many crypto pos coin are setting communities in Hong Kong for some reason... Airdrop should be for good potential markets like China and South Korea, but better for China because of the WeChat thing... I lived in China for while. quite nice ideea... maybe we can start a campaign for this moon festival. more awareness about byteball , more the platform get used and start to be more functional. i would like to see as soon, this platform used by milions of ppl. on Monday September 24, 2018 will the chinese moon festival Look byteball is coming from the sky in China...

an android friendly map for byteball wallet by country... I am sorry America and Japan hi, Which airdrop did you mention? Would you mind giving me more details about this one, please. The airdrop is hypothetical and should be symbolic like WCG, only for adoption purpose not for pumping the price up. in case of reinstall any kind airdrop, byteball team should consider to target the best market for best adoption possible, which in my opinion is an android friendly country with a lot of crypto enthusiast, like South Korea, Hong Kong, Spain, China, etc.

I think we should look beyond Cryptopia and Bitteex. Every effort should be made to list Byteball at exchanges like Binance. Having a fiat ramp is fine, but why should you ignore the most popular crypto exchanges. It might cost money, but that can come from the undistributed funds. It would be worth it.
I strongly support the idea to bring Byteball to Binance, which is amongst the largest exchanges in the last several months. In addition, fiat pair is good option to boost the liquidity of Byteball up. the best and most powerful exchange is people to people. I sell bytes for cash for profit, 10% up from the current price. The only barrier is that my custmer or friend need an Android phone.. Very easy...

Why would anyone want EOS when you already have AWS and other cloud computing networks? 21 nodes is not decentralized. Anyone long on this coin is an idiot, cash out while you still can
EOS is lot more than cloud computing network. They are basically the platform for blockchain applications with higher scalability and easier intra and inter blockchain communication through smart contracts. Yes same as litecoin and ripple. send coins from point A to point B, everything else is fake news...

The EOS project is really very, very cool, because today this project has crazy volatility only in plus, look as soon as the growth of bitcoin in a few percent, then the growth of EOS starts with global steps, I think that it is worth investing in this project
This is a big buble, buy some insurance... It has the same problem as bitcoin and ether, it won't scale... typical pump and dump

End of year eth : 2500 $
yes on your dreams, ether won't scale... nor the price...

Whats average transaction per second can be expected after casper release and will it be both POW/POS?
Accelerating transactions and reducing the cost of gas is the main problem that needs to be addressed immediately! bla bla bla, that won't happen. Ethereum needs some BALLS.

A bittrex delisting is not the end of the world, BTW.
agreed....trex delisting Spreadcoin most assuredly wouldn't be the end of the world...end of Spreadcoin most likely, but not the end of the world... just move to cryptopia

Ethereum has rebounded quite recently, but I think it is not just a big rebound in the fall process. Investors should always pay attention to risk.
I see the potential. I am sure that this year there will be an active growth up to a mark of 2000 dollars. We are worthy of such a price. Keep dreaming, do you have some insurance? Ethereum has its limits, it can not scale

"on JP Morgan executive Jamie Dimon calling bitcoin a “fraud” and claiming he would fire any employee from his firm who traded the digital currency for being “stupid.”" I wonder if his employees are allowed to have flight delay insurance from byteball... look ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjYscFJgl0E

Hello Please can someone advice when is the best time to buy BCH and what is the possibility of BCH price going up to meet BTC
Never, the answer is never. Take your money buy Pina Colada on Miami Beach and Relax. This a copy of Bitcoin, because Bitcoin can not scale, neither BCash, Litecoin, Dash, and so on... Do not put your money here.
|
|
|
I think that the project will continue and develop further. On the basis of Dash, projects are already being made. Activity in the community is also high.
that won't happen, only on your dream. Mining will be obsolete, it won't scale no matter how hard you try so the price.
