82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: August 19, 2018, 03:05:03 PM
Do not underestimate any alternative coin because anything can happen at anytime especially if you can purchase much quantity. I like dogecoin because of it availability in so many exchangers, in order to reduce transaction charge if I am moving coin, I trade it with dogecoin than I move to another exchanger with this method I reduce the transaction charge of 100000 satoshi that most exchangers are taking as transaction charge.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: how to help people who have problem economic on: August 18, 2018, 10:54:02 AM
No matter the amount of donation organization or government make it will not end poverty rather it will just be a momentary relieve. Proper education and skill acquisition program is the first step toward poverty alleviation then creating job opportunities and loan schemes. We have so many blockchain based charity platform already in operation.

85  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN is useless!? on: August 15, 2018, 01:28:37 PM
Bitcoin hedead to zero?
The former ceo of paypal Bill harris said that, bitcoin's value will continue to dwindle until it gets "eventually a whole lot closer to zero."and saying that there's just no value in bitcoin and "Bitcoin makes no revenue, no profitability."
he also called the cryptocurrency is a
"colossal pump-and-dump scheme, the likes of which the world has never seen."
I think this is non-sense, what about you?

Source: cnbc

If we want to talk about revenue and profitability do our traditional fiat currency make revenue and is profitable on it own. Because He owns paypal do not make him omniscience, because from this statement I realize He does not understand bitcoin.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin's.... What should be done? on: August 14, 2018, 01:15:25 PM
When there are scam coins, the best way for you to do is to report that in this forum about the scam accusations thread. And by that it will be greatly appreciated by all. Everybody will be alerted that it is scammed coin or project.

Before alerting everyone about scam coin make sure you have authentic fact about your claims. I have seen in so many cases where an ICO and a coin was tag scam but it turns out to be a legit project and coin.

Even now it is not every body in cryptoworld that own a whole one bitcoin, most of us have it in fraction of satoshi. so people will buy in fraction of satoshi. It will be a plus for early birds like us. The higher the demand the higher the price.

Bitcoin price LIVE: BTC in danger of dropping to $4,000 - Is this the end of bitcoin?

DAILY HEADLINES
Good afternoon and welcome to our rolling coverage of all things cryptocurrency, including price, regulation, innovation and financial crime.

A week of dreadful losses sees bitcoin prices tumble down close to $6,000 a coin, as investors struggle to rally.

Bitcoin fell another 4.31 percent to trade at $6,155.74, a loss of just under $1,000 in less than a week.

The rest of the market has suffered from bitcoin’s slump too, with Ethereum losing 11.74 percent on the day to trade at $318.76.

Ripple lost 11.11 percent to trade for $0.299337, while Litecoin fell 9.81 percent to sell for $56.61.

Bitcoin prices are stagnating as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) debates the approval of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) for bitcoin.

Approval of the proposal could see BTC prices skyrocket, but continued uncertainty has seen investors lose confidence.

Analysts predict BTC could plummet as low as $4,000 if the issue isn't resolved, but is this the end of bitcoin?

4.57pm UPDATE: Volumes Surge on Turkey's Crypto Exchanges as Lira Tanks
Trading volume on Turkey's cryptocurrency exchanges surged Friday as the country's fiat currency plunged to record lows on economic jitters.

According to CoinMarketCap, volume at Turkish exchanges Paribu, Btcturk and Koinim jumped over the past 24 hours by more than 100 percent each. Absolute volumes are still relatively small at these exchanges, with Btcturk, the country's largest, handling $11.6 million in trades.

On 10th August, a remand filed by plaintiff Ryan Coffey against defendants Ripple Labs, Inc. [Ripple], XRP II, LLC, an ancillary of Ripple, and Bradley Garlinghouse [CEO of Ripple] has been ruled over by the court.

Plaintiff initially filed the patent on May 3, 2018, accusing the aforementioned defendants after investing in XRP.

The lawsuit demanded remuneration for the plaintiff, awarding him for damages caused due to investing in XRP. It also demanded that XRP be subject to the California Corporations Code.

The lawsuit also alleged that Ripple Labs has “focused on how to create, maintain, and increase the value of XRP.” It also claimed that Ripple is not decentralized.

13.50pm UPDATE: BTC hits a one-month low
This week's price fluctuations saw bitcoin prices plummet to a one-month low.

On some exchanges, like the Europe-based Bitstamp, Bitcoin even spent some time under the $6,000  price level, as the order books on that exchange might have been too shallow to handle this influx of sell-side volume.

12.30pm UPDATE: Bitcoin prices could drop to $4,000
A Bloomberg analyst has predicted bitcoin prices could slump to as low as $4,000 should the cryptocurrency market continue to stagnate.

Mike McGlone, a Bloomberg intelligence analyst said: "Bitcoin is in dump mode, following the pump run-up on the potential for a U.S. ETF.

"It may not subside until revisiting good support near $4,000 -- last year’s mean."

All the fact you have given here is not enough reason to ask that kind of threatening question you are asking. ( Is this the end of bitcoin?). How will bitcoin just end because of fluctuation in price. Every investor in the cryptoworld knows that it is the character of bitcoin for the price to fluctuate due to news and some activities.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin May Soon Be Worth Nothing on: July 07, 2018, 08:10:24 AM
Most of the people that make this kind of statement have not really spend time to study the concept they are talking about or the are looking at one side of the concept. I do not doubt the fact that bitcoin have it own disadvantages, there is nothing on earth the do not have it disadvantages. Just tell the person to go through the internet and look for the advantages of bitcoin. the individual will definitely know that bitcoin worth alot and is here to salvage the whole world from financial bondage.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian exchanges have announced that no crypto-fiat exchanges will be allowed . on: July 07, 2018, 07:58:59 AM
Is depends on the dept of your believe on blockchain technology. To me I believe that blockchain technology is unstopable. Not even the government of any country can slow down the progress of blockchain technology. It is just a phase that will prompt developers to device a means of getting to another realm of operation.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another reason for Bitcoin price high on: July 04, 2018, 01:38:17 PM
This may influence the price of bitcoin just for a moment. Bitcoin was meant to be a decentralized financial system that was not suppose to be influence by religion, culture, race or government of any country. I am looking forward to that time, It is our duty as members of cryptocommunity to stand our ground no matter what any body is saying for or against bitcoin. Bitcoin is not suppose to go high due to the vindication of any religious group.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines as the first country in asia to regulate and accept cryptocurrency.. on: July 04, 2018, 01:18:52 PM
I am proud to tell all the members here my country the Philippines is the first to adapt and accept cryptocurrency being regulated by the government. As we all know that Philippines is greatly influenced by USA and that see something that USA has done on the cryptocurrency and quickly embrace cryptocurrency. The idea is to give license for local exchange to operate and in return clients doing crypto and fiat exchange should do one time intensive KYC that inludes linking facebook and collecting I.D even asking for billing address as to get a good cash in and cash out process. THe intensified KYC will determine the amount that you will going to exchange. Aside from that those ICO project should be registered in AMLA a government department concern on money laundering law. So this will cater and regulate possible abusive form in the use of cryptocurrency.
I expect all other countries to follow suit instead of banning cryptocurrency due to fear of money laundry. I expect government to have active, strong and strict cryptocurrency regulative body with experience cybercrime personnel.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin. on: July 03, 2018, 06:53:48 AM
Be warn, the devil you know is better than angel you have not seen. Those people that normally say that they are building a blockchain that will be better than that of bitcoin may not be able to actualize it, take time to try that blockchain after some few months, you will realize that it is nothing to write home about.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: July 03, 2018, 06:38:39 AM
It is some time discouraging and painful to look at your money go down and it takes people that have extraordinary faith in bitcoin to withstand the storm. I recover my money by trading the bitcoin, buying when the price is down and selling when the price is up. I also buy some promising alternative coin so as to recover my loss.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used as a donation to the church on: July 02, 2018, 05:40:53 PM
It is better to exchange the bitcoin to fiat before donating it to church. For now bitcoin is technical and it is not every one that really want to comprehend the process. If you donate bitcoin it means the church will have church bitcoin wallet and blockchain oriented person that will manage it, which is not obtainable in churches for now.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer? on: June 28, 2018, 12:47:15 PM
The major ideology behind bitcoin was redistribution of wealth, POOR means (passing over opportunity repeatedly). Satoshi Nakamoto have done his or her part, it is now the duty of the poor to seize this opportunity and become rich. If you are in this forum you will see that you can become rich through bitcoin without having any capital provided you are determine to work.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I create my own crypto coin with a total supply of 1,000,000,000,000... on: June 28, 2018, 11:59:36 AM
If you carefully go through the coinmarketcap you will observed that coin with sure large quantity of supply can never get to $1. The entire supply will not be in your possession. So do not think the entire money is yours.
