81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 31, 2017, 01:22:52 PM
So it looks like people are selling alts for btc to get the "free BCC" when the fork occurs. My guess is they will dump their new bcc asap and buy back their original Alts. Not a bad strategy except for the viabtc stage and the fact that i expect all Alts to rise pretty fast as these speculators come back.
If everyone is buying bitcoin to dump bcc, where is the value in bcc coming from?
That's why I don't like current market.
It's full of bullshit...

Bitcoin is now back at $1812 does this completely means that it recovered from the btc-e hack?

You can't know until the tempest has passed.
So far it's good but the news is only days old...

'

so the BTC-e issue is what a 'big shrug' to the bitcoin world....price is not affected...is that what people seem to see/think now?

would be nice not to be at the 'whim' of another gox issue that slams price down for a year

(still, have the bcc fud to look forward to and the 2mb thing in 3 months.fun times)

btc...the hot mess girlfriend you can't leave.....sigh

Seems like the bulls are undeterred, no matter what obstacle is thrown at them.

I am wondering if the big investors will not believe btc-e is down until a reliable source confirms it.

VERY surprised to see price up when waking up this morning. Do we think it needs to hit the MSM before price reacts??
I just can't believe in bitcoin keeping this upward trend. There's a lot of incertitude in the near horizon. Worst of them being the btc-e news.
How could euphoria come back at the same time ?

That or btc-e dumps were the cause of the price fall. Which doesn't necessarily mean it cannot happen again in the near future...
Holders may wait MSM and/or the next dump.

I think I sold to Jimbo then °°

Results of the day :
Yesterday I was expecting a dip coming sooner or later, chose to stay fiat instead of short.
Should have followed my forecast and stayed fiat all the day long instead of playing the whales's game  Roll Eyes

But well, that's my first day of serious trading since I came back to cryptos and moved out of laggy Kraken, so I guess that's part of the game...

Cex.io : pas assez de volume.

J'ai placé quelques BTC sur le site, je cashout dès que je peux, marre de devoir lutter contre des bots quand je place mes ordres.
En plus tu ne peux même pas fixer le prix d'entrée en margin trading.

Hello !
In case you don't know, amdgpu from amd-staging-4.11  has bumped DRM version requirement.
Code:
ͻ
Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.5
ͼ

ZEC: 1 pool is specified
Main ZCash pool is eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3443
amdgpu_device_initialize: DRM version is 2.50.0 but this driver is only compatible with 3.x.x.
Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)

I don't know if I should be happy about that or not...
Well, thanks for the info anyway Smiley

edit : problem found, it works with default parameters. Thanks Pallas !

Okay, after gradually going back to 14.6 driver and hoooouuurs of testing (blame the catalyst linux hell), I can confirm that the new kernel doesn't work when the old one does(on my rig).
Which means that I'll keep my old bin for the time being  Tongue

edit : to be more exact about what happens, a bin is generated and then my GPUs quickly become "SICK".
