To my best understanding Presently, the crypto currency market is a game of who buys or accumulates most tokens or bitcoins
The Government and The big men wants to buy several of it and companies want to be a part of it as well
If we see BTC at $3k, I won't be surprised but when the moon and bull runs start..
It will be as eagles soar on the sky high
I also agree with this view. If a project can develop steadily, then holding the project tokens it issues, as a long-term investment, may yield high returns. Agreed. Can confirm this simply by looking at such of my currencies growing slowly right now. I wonder what happens next if we speak in the sight of the end of the year.

It is over now and market recovering. Slow but we all see positive changes here. I have a new hope now that I will not lose my money again.
Some currencies started to steadily grow in value. Agreed, that's quite slow but it's something! Speaking of the end of the year, we all remember last year all-time high by BTC. I mean maybe we won't be even close to the last year's prices but still can pump greatly. Let's be patient and wait ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Only ~30 currencies such as LTC, BSV, MGO, ADA etc. have risen the last 24h. The market is so awful right now. The best advice now is to hodl and don't think if you can quit during lows. Just sit tight and wait imo

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies which are really strong and have great potential, but I don't think anyone of those can replace ether BTC and ETH as 1st and 2nd currencies. Let it be XRP, MGO, Tron, Dash whatever it does not depend on the projects' strength, unfortunately. Maybe I'm mistaken so the time will show us. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Diversify I'd say. It reduces your risks since some of your currencies might go down, and other might grow at the same time.

We should be treating crypto in the same way as other startup businesses and the simple facts are that most new start companies will fail to make it past the first 12 months. I would suggest that those with the best chance of survival at the moment are those occupying the top 50 positions in market cap and any of the recent ICO that have actually spent time developing their platform and it has real-world application.
So you're saying if a coin isn't in the Top 50 then it is shit? Not sure if that's correct. The best alts for me are casual ETH, XRP, and Dash for example if we speak about Top 50. But as an instance of non-Top 50, I also closely look at and hodl MGO now, it showed good growth last month. It means you can't judge alt simply by not being "top X" or not imo

|
Much changed this year since we see rather less ICOs at all, and as the result, many of the teams are focused now on developing quality projects. Not sure if that's bad for ICOs which are working for a great result, it's only bad for fraudulent ones. I've joined only a few ICOs this year and none of those were "a fail" for me yet. Let's see what we'll get next year.

Only several alts of mine brought some benefits - ETH and XRP lately cus I was lucky to sell and re-buy those while being high, and dump after that. Also, currently I've got a couple of other alts which are looking profitable as well either on short or long distance, for example, MGO is one of those which raised pretty high last month. I mean there's no reason to focus on some currencies while ignoring the rest, there are still much of those which look pretty strong and potentially might grow.

Usually, I'm buying more coins if I trust project much which takes time to make sure if it's really worth. Some of my coins are not that much popular among other users but it's still my/your/etc. choice to add or not to add more of those in your portfolio. As for me, once again, it's worth if you trust that coin/project

Cryptocurrencies have been around for a while now.we've the early adopters and late adopters. Heard a lot of postive and also no to forget negative experience from people. Take a flash back to when you decided to get involved in the crypto world and judging by what you have achieved at this point in time.
Do you regret your decision to get involved in the crypto world or you wished you had joined earlier?
I'd change the time I came into crypto if there would be such an opportunity, and would join rather early. Also, I'm still fine with crypto at all and not going to quit right now. Who knows what we'll see next year etc. Still on the run, yeah! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Not only XRP performed great this year but a bunch of other alts as well. For example, we can see MGO doing pretty nice according to CMC now. So yeah if we speak about alts once again I'd say - yes, this is the year of altcoins for sure. Have a good luck with your investments guys and don't forget to ain't lose your mind with some great gains ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

It's more likely blockchain projects are going to connect with the traditional businesses, and the gaming industry as well. For example, some of them are trying to implement crypto payments in one way or another. Who knows what we'll see soon? Still can't say if there're much really worth games based on blockchain already.

I do not also know much games where you can earn btc but it most likely projects are going to connect with the gaming industry nowadays. Read a couple of news regarding that last week.

Speaking about gaming, Xsolla x MobileGo made an ultimate token and now an airdrop started. 3 days left, can I send the link?
I'll do this for you https://airdrop.mobilego.io/This is really the first airdrop I joined and it turned out great, free tokens are always nice but MGOs are growing extremely well all the month long. It seems that Xsolla is actively co-operating with good crypto projects. Can't wait to see the further development Companies start realizing that crypto might bring great benefits. That's happening more often nowadays. Let's see if it will result in something great! I hope that the traditional business will accept cryptocurrency in the near future. we will see the popularity of cryptocurrency in different areas of business. Absolutely agreed. So many areas might be improved by applying crypto. Also, I have a feeling ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Not sure if it's that relevant to the thread but their token price growth last month is looking kinda impressive tho

It’s about time for $XPASC following other low cap gems $RPM $PENG Bear market is when low caps will rise. We will soon break through 1 Sat, look out STEX Newbies in crypto are now running towards low caps. Perfect time for $XPASC to unleash
Yeah..Some projects will survive, but most will dead...as fact, this MGO, mentioned above, is growing now. Quite impressive growth tho. I suppose they work hard to reach such a result during bearish market.

Let me add that blockchain x gaming is not limited by games based on blockchain only. For example, MobileGo is working on the implementation of crypto payments for games as one of their development directions. Sounds exciting for me since I'm quite relative to gaming industry myself ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

|
We need more partnerships with gaming platforms. For example, MobileGo now has a partnership with Xsolla, and their token MGO accepted as a payment method there. Look at their CMC stats, it is a great accelerator for such projects.
Partnerships are always great. It brings benefits to both sides and users as well. Quite a suggestion ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I don't mean that he should spend millions on marketing, but at least he can research and copy their strategy and finally find his own audience.
That might work. It's not that hard to follow one's way instead of making mistakes yourselves. Also, MGO is really doing great last month. That indicates if company's doing well too. Best of luck!
