Think begging for $ isnt appropriate. My dad is allmost dead cant do anything and will be like that for the rest of his life and i dont take advantage of this situation to beg for BTCs, i dont know why people do that, just try to work and get BTC as you can, theres no easy way out.
84  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin will either die or stabilize around 200-500 dollars on: December 07, 2013, 09:13:07 PM

Why did you buy btc at 1k usd at the first place?
Does not make sense ...

It had been around 1k the last perod of time so i never thought it would drop significantly.

1) Only use money you are prepared to lose - and I mean lose it all.  That way you won't panic when it goes down.

2) You lost about half your money.

3) If you are prepared to lose the other half (see point #1) then buy back in - if not then you are done (until you have some extra money that you are prepared to lose)

4) WAIT.  That is all you have to do.  If you buy back in at $700 you WAIT until it is $1400 then you are pretty much flush.

5) Then the hard part is to figure out when to sell and how much you want to make.

Or  for  part 5 you can just si on them for a very long term investment and make alot of $ Grin just dont look at the daily swings comeback and see the value in 3-4 years. Retirement! Smiley
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: December 07, 2013, 09:07:00 PM
whats the absolute top bitcoins can reach?

Probably between 1 and 10k but who knows?

i saw much more than that some were talking about close to 100k....  Cheesy  I think we dont really know ATM, it might seem crazy but when the BTC was under $1 if i told you 2 years later it would hit 1k you might have  told  me im crazy.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will bitcoin be before 2013 ends on: December 07, 2013, 09:00:22 PM
Let me predict it at ..... $30 max. Maybe even $0

you're trolling right? i mean everything is possible with the BTC but lol, thats  not realistic at all to see it between 0 and 30 by the end of 2013

We just got the news about the satellite going up... Of course bitcoin is going to crash... Every bank on earth is saying to themselves FML we need to take that fucking bitcoin shit to zero so no one ever takes it seriously ever again... Hopefully the dudes mining are not going to sell to keep the price tumbling.

maybe but from what we saw yesterday it was 3-4 big players selling, looks like is either wallstreet or very smart guys, but dont you think theses guys will rebuy sooner and play a bit with the price, theres so much to make.

90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [POLL] Is bitcoin starting to drop? on: December 07, 2013, 05:07:04 AM
What do you mean starting to drop. It dropped from 1250 to 650 already... If it goes any lower we are not talking about a drop but about the mother of all crashes...

Bitcoin already had a $32 to $2 decline that was >94% loss from the peak.  You really think it will be more than that?  Put your buy orders in at $69.70 then (0.06 * $1160).

i dont think it will drop to $70 either , not that is impossiblebut i think more and more people see a value into BTC and so at $450 i know alot of people who would see that as a bargin, so its very doubtfull that the BTC can drop 94% again IMHO
91  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Known Problems with Bitcoin on: December 07, 2013, 05:00:09 AM
When most bitcoins have been mined it will eventually become impractical to generate high enough transaction fees to incentivise the hashing that maintains network integrity and prevents a 51% attack.

Yikes, I haven't heard this before. Has anyone done the math behind this? is it 100% certain? I will do the math myself if not.

yep i heard that as well, but they were talking about rewarding people in some other ways
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will bitcoin be before 2013 ends on: December 07, 2013, 04:53:55 AM
I would guess it could briefly get down to $500. I doubt it's going much lower than that. It'll probably trade in a range of $500-$1,000 for the next few months, then start a new rally sometime later in 2014 and make a new ATH.

Yep that was i was thinking too, but like we never know its still all speculation its hard to predict, so far the BTC has been very unpredictable, otherwise alot of people would be very rich right now, even tho theres alot of $ to be made with theses swings. Pretty interesting to watch. Smiley
93  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in all honesty, could it still be profitable to get into mining? on: December 07, 2013, 04:47:05 AM
this reminds me when there was theses gold minors searching for gold and most people who made the most $ were people selling shovels.  Roll Eyes Tongue
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the end of BTC??? on: December 07, 2013, 04:40:17 AM
Yeah its a pretty insane drop but i think this may happend sometimes until more people get into BTC. just my 2 cents.

96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When did you start? on: December 06, 2013, 10:30:49 AM

98  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best strategy for a newbie with about $10k to invest on: December 06, 2013, 09:30:18 AM
why not just buy BTC directly? I mean its becomming very difficult to mine BTC, with a 10k investment you would get close to 10 BTC right now, how long would it takes with a 10k set up to mine 10 BTC? Id like answers from BTC pros cause im thinking if he buys them directly he might get a better ROI even more so if doing a bit of trading am i wrong or missing something here? Huh
99  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying car with BITCOIN. world 1st!! on: December 06, 2013, 09:24:06 AM

100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets on: December 06, 2013, 09:17:46 AM
that was a nice post  but as i asked in another thread, if we want the BTC to be used by more and more people i think would need to finds other ways, like for exemple if i would ask anyone to use a digital currency but they have to use an offline compter i think it would be something that may them very worried about of how safe are digital currency and will be limited to a smaller sample of users.
