81  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite exchange? on: July 05, 2018, 08:30:18 AM
There are many exchanges out there. Which one do you use and why?
Thanks!
I like new exchanges and among them Coinex, Coinbene, Gate are my most interesting exchanges since these are new exchanges and very good trading volume in recent times. I personally use Binance exchanges but Binance recently repeatedly made mistakes and caused many people to lose their money at this exchange. I think people should choose new exchanges because these are exchanges that can help us make a good profit
What a nonsense. You win a contest for the worst post ive read this week.

What mistakes? They didnt do any and also protect those users who cant protect their own API key. Tell them that binance made mistakes. Their API key was stolen, hacker used it on exchange, binance detect it, locked withdrawals and give back token to users - name another exchange with that attitude to user.

I think people should choose new exchanges because these are exchanges that can help us make a good profit

It is like "last time i bought lottery ticket in this store and i didnt win, next time ill buy lottery ticket in the same lottery but in different store".

I have been registered with many exchanges, but currently I like to do most of my trades on small exchanges rather than big exchanges.
I feel comfortable while trading in these small exchanges, though some trade takes couple of days to fill up, but it's ok for me. As soon I grow in confidence in trading, I will shift to bigger exchanges.
Smaller exchanges are harder for newbies - higher spread - less space for mistakes. Who said to You that small exchanges are for newbie and big for experienced?

I think your points are worth attention. Indeed, large exchanges offer very good support and have very strong security system. And as for interface, for example, Binance has a very user-friendly one. It's easy to use it even for newcomers

Well, base on my experiences I like Kucoin and Cryptopia because they have unique 2FA feature and some security features that will make our coins safe and also their transaction payment is much affordable and much faster  than the other leading exchanges too. So if you want to be a trader then better to try these exchanges and see the difference.

I got me very interested in this unique 2FA feature. Thanks, will explore this

Frankly speaking, all these are new to me. Definitely will take a close look at them.
As for Binance, have quite similar concerns about it

Binance - Because I don't have to give my personal documents to just trade and withdraw coins. I never withdraw greater than 2BTC per day so that limit is enough as unverified user.

Kucoin - Even though they have KYC, I haven't gone through it because I can still withdraw what I have there. I am just using it as an alternative when some coin's wallet get into maintainance in binance.

Weltrade - Recently started using them for margin trading in crypto markets.

Didn't know anything about the last one, thanks.
As for KYC, in you opinion, is it good when the exchange requires it or not?

If you want to find out what is the best exchange there is then you should try to pick for the one who is the number one of them all, but their would be a problem since it is the number one then hackers will try to hack that exchange.

If the biggest exchange will be hacked in small scale it will cover users losts (like bithumb did when he lost 40 mil in hack) - you will lost nothing no matter if you are inside or outside of the biggest exhange
If the biggest exchange will be hacked in big scale whole market will suffer and bitcoin will stop at 1-2k - like after mtgox hack - you will lost 80% of your investment beeing outside of biggest exchange or 100% beeing inside of biggest exchange.

If small exchange will be hacked in any scale they will probably disapper - you will lose 100 % of your investment beeing inside and 0% beeing outside

This arguments shows that it is better to choise big exchanges - even if they are on the hackers radar - they also have more money for better protection.

A very good point, I agree with you. Moreover, the security is usually much better organized at large exchanges

Gdax, Binance and Kucoin are my favorites. Clean design, it seems that they attach importance to security, fast deposits and withdrawals.

I really tested many exchanges and it's not easy to find good ones. Gdax is the best one to buy into crypto with fiat.

is Gdax still alive? I heard it should have become Coinbase Pro or sth like that since it's owned by Coinbase

i have accounts of coinbene, kucoin, bitfinex, uex, huobi, binance, cryptopia. For everyday use i choise binance. Very low fees, sharp (when you place order its on market in the same second), has great mobile app and desktop  app with great interface. Its also the best secured in my opinion. Binance even helps users with hacked accounts - they have whose system for that and already prevented 2 massive theft form their users account from stolen API keys - they also started a Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU). Starting from 2018/07/14, they will allocate 10% of all trading fees received into SAFU to offer protection to users and their funds in extreme cases..
Rest of them i use only if coin that i want to sell/buy is not listed on binance.

Acording to fees, sharpness, interface, sense of security i would rank them

1- binance
2- nothing
3- nothing
4- nothing
5- huobi
6- bitfinex
7- kucoin
8- cryptopia
9- coinbene
100- uex

I also use decentralized forkdelta for coins not listed on any centralized exchange (mostly from airdrops).

Yes, Binance is good indeed, though there are some concerns know as it quite often suspends services recently.
Thanks for your rating!

Noah Project Promotes Blockchain Technology to Build international Partnerships and Support Economic Growth

The high-tech company supports economic growth through blockchain aiming to fill the gap between the Philippines and Japan, and facilitate the global economy.

The Noah Project, a blockchain cryptocurrency company focused on enhancing the trade market between the Philippines and Japan, is promoting economic growth through its flagship — the nonprofit Noah Foundation.

Although the Noah Project was founded in 2016 with an initial purpose to further develop the social and economic progress between the two countries, it opens up a different spectrum of strengthening the communication and relationship means, as well as finding new and creative ways to helping each other. This is a whole new ecosystem designed to eventually benefit the citizens, businesses and tourism of the nations.

The Noah Project’s approach to cryptocurrency is unlike others in the industry. Instead of a focus on the purely financial aspects of cryptocurrency, it pushes forward with a commitment to providing real life solutions. Noah Coin is the first blockchain technology cryptocurrency that is truly designed for people.

Noah Project Partners with Dakak Beach Resort

Blockchain throws down a challenge to the traditional methods of payment, and the most tech-savvy companies are actively adapting to the new realities. Doubtless, the technology makes a big difference in financial transfers. It facilitates international payments so that travelers don’t need to exchange currencies multiple times, thus saving their time and cutting off additional commission expenditures.
No less importantly, the adoption of cryptocurrencies as a payment provides a significant competitive advantage to the whole tourist region, making it attractive to millions of virtual coin holders around the world. This market niche is still vacant and those who occupy it will definitely become innovation drivers with a bright future.

The Noah Project is among these “the first”. Since its start in 2016, the company has been developing the Noah Ecosystem, where its own infrastructural token – Noah Coin – will be used. The Noah Resort aims to open a whole new travel experience where people won’t need to worry about currency exchanges – all they need is the wireless connection and a blockchain wallet.

Why crypto is already changing the world of tomorrow

While some countries still don’t see that others are actively adapting to this new reality

By Josef Werker, spokesperson at the Noah Foundation

[size=11]Since appearing in 2009, Bitcoin has become the poster child of a new economic reality that is attracting greater attention from financiers, journalists, and state authorities. It is clear that both cryptocurrencies and blockchain that made their creation possible are about to revolutionize the world.

Initially, Bitcoin’s arrival was met with a certain distrust and plenty of questions, but within a few years it became the most profitable investment, gaining 1,300% in value during 2017. The growth in popularity of cryptocurrencies in general and Bitcoin in particular forces us to rethink financial and economic systems. Blockchain has evidently become the “runway” and Bitcoin “the leap” into a new digital economy.

That new economy is here. The era of traditional economic and financial systems is coming to a close. This has not yet been fully understood by most of the world’s governmental institutions, but the most developed economies clearly see that this is an inevitable step forward and that they have to adapt to this new economic reality.

The Noah City is the world’s first experiment in implementing a real digital economy. It can become a model for the entire world, demonstrating what the future can look like. More in our blog.

Too global a project in my opinion they will not be able to realize all their ideas, which are certainly wonderful, but they are probably ahead of their time.

Well, currently we are in the active stage of developing the Noah City (building it now and have already established partnerships with PayRemit and Dakak Resort). Thus, we are implementing the project pretty fast
