81  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: March 31, 2018, 01:53:42 AM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

Im not sure governments are going to happily accept bitcoin as a replacement for their fiat currencies. You have to ask yourself: why? what do they win doing that?

Why would governments replace their currencies, which they control, for a currency that nobody controls? It makes no sense.

I see bitcoin as a neutral asset like gold primarily, secondarily as a currency, and it will depend on the people using it or not. The big mistake is considering bitcoin before digital gold, because that's where big blockers ruin everything.

I agree with you men government not gonna give up that easily with there currency that they control and may the government be afaird of bitcoin that will rise cause nowadays the population that bitcoin has been multiple because this is also a digital gold currency that easy to earn.

84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: March 25, 2018, 01:30:12 PM
I was thinking if bitcoin will ban from every country if bitcoin will vanish one day then what will happen? I got my Answer, Without Bitcoin, my life will be so boring! What will happen to you if bitcoin will die  Cry

85  Economy / Economics / Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it? on: March 25, 2018, 11:10:49 AM
after this major price correction. i want to see what are your ideas on this. lets say you bought bitcoin 2 years ago. you notice prices were high at 19,000$ should u sell or continue to hold? what are your thoughts after this huge correction?

it is probably too late to sell after holding since the 19000$ correction.
My friend as what I have experience first I would determined the coinmarket cap if the volatile movement will going up or low.And the best strategy that I make was buy crypto coins when its low and sell it when the time that the value will rise.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2018, 01:04:39 AM

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: March 24, 2018, 11:38:56 PM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?

In my opinion, yes Ethereum will be the next coin as bitcoin do to us because nowadays Ethereum likely slowing moving like Bitcoin come to think of it today Coin.ph is now accepting Ethereum and it has a good value in the money pool also ETC have a good advantage to people because they adopt the cheap transaction and the people like it.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: March 24, 2018, 10:58:56 PM
As oart of the economy I want to ask

•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.

•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it  bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create

Difficult to say. The next Bitcoin might appear only in a few years. The best cryptos with the great potential are DASH, Litecoin and ETH.

Yes I agree with you it is hard to say what will be the next coin that has the same bitcoin do to us but for me, I think maybe ETH coin will be the next because come to think of it nowadays ETC has already in Coin.ph they starting to connect an easy or cheap transaction they slowly moving like Bitcoin.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: March 24, 2018, 10:47:19 PM
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.

In my opinion, I think people nowadays know about Bitcoin because of today in social adds, blog, etc; people now see bitcoin can help them they only need to know and understand Bitcoin really is; in my country, I think out of 10 I can rate it to 7 to 8 because wherever I go I can here they talking about bitcoin some are lecturing some people don't understand bitcoin, some are sharing it to other and etc.  Smiley
90  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: March 24, 2018, 10:14:43 PM

91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin on: March 18, 2018, 03:41:00 PM
Im wondering what are the advantages of bitcoin than any other coins? I have been using bitcoin for almost 2 months already and I still don’t know what its advantages. Please share your thougths.

For me, bitcoin had benefits and advantages over using localized currency like quick and cheap transactions, appreciating value, has no paperwork and also irreversible transactions thats why many of us want bitcoin than other money transaction.  Smiley
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold on: March 18, 2018, 05:06:55 AM
From an investment point of view, bitcoin is more about gold than it is about other currencies. That's because as an asset, bitcoin and gold have a lot in common. Both are limited to supply, both have functions to use, and many believe that, despite their large price fluctuations, they remain a good store of value. Compared to gold and currency investment returns in the past five years, the currency's performance is far better than the so-called precious metals, gold year loss than 6%, the currency of the annualized rate of return is 155%. These rich returns show that bitcoin has excited investors about the prospect of putting money into such a new asset class.

Compared with the gold standard, the value of the currency rising and proven performance, investors can be used to measure the investment of the world's leading digital currency future opportunity and risk indicators.

For me, bitcoin is better than gold because we all know that it is a digital currency it is easy to earn you must have the guts, time, and patient not like gold, gold is a precious  thing that not easy to have u need a lot of money to convert it to gold, but today thanks to bitcoin currency in the future i can buy expensive things like gold. 93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could bitcoin reach 100.000$ ? on: March 18, 2018, 03:01:07 AM
I read an article a couple of days ago, in which a guy was saying that he thinks bitcoin will reach 100.000 $ by the end of 2018.
What do you guys think?
I'd appreciate pertinent and/or fact based opinions.
Thanks!

Today bitcoin hit 400k plus in Philippine money for me, I'm hoping that it will happen in 2018 but we know that bitcoin price will goes up and down maybe it can reach it but not in this year 2018. its hard to believe that in this coming 2018 bitcoin will get 100.000 $.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: March 18, 2018, 01:41:36 AM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

For me, my greatest fear as a bitcoin holder is when the currency will never rise again and also i have been hacked because all you have spend time to earn on it, it will gone just like a one click. Hoping that it is never been happen to me.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: March 17, 2018, 11:12:04 PM

Seems many people treat bitcoin like an asset given how much it's gone up over the last year or so. But some academics disagree with that assessment. If it is to be treated as a currency, it will need to stabilize to be of use.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/24/nyus-dean-of-valuation-says-bitcoin-is-a-currency.html
For me I would say both an asset and currency is bitcoin because as of now its an asset to make us rich and save us from unstable income.Ad it is also a currency ehich the value price is much bigger than other crypto coins.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: March 17, 2018, 10:28:42 PM
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?
My biggest regrets of cryptocurrency when my friends invite me to joined one year ago but I regret and pass it buy.Now they really accummulated a huge income and I realize that is a big mistake what I have done. But past is past and the best that I can do now was focus because its never been too late of everything.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: March 17, 2018, 10:00:22 PM

It is said that we can make money in trading when the market is up as well as when the market is down. Right now, the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a big bloodbath (though there might have been bigger ones before) where some are estimating that we lost around 40% of the market value so far. Though I personally believe that this is just temporary and very historical (it happened in the past on the same period), it is still sad to see what we have already gained just wipe out in some hours and days. This is just the way with cryptocurrency market...

Under this dire situation, are you still trading or you are pausing for a while just waiting for the right timing when to buy coins and tokens again?

Its not the best option when trading is red because a money you can get is not enough for the income you want.We should always remember if volatile movement was red the price was go down and when green the price of cryptocoins will go up.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 17, 2018, 09:31:18 PM
Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is a solution to many problems. Bitcoin is bringing questions and new problems to this world.
Some people find this as a ride to boost your income, not specifically Bitcoin but also the whole crypto market.
I think it's a great thing! But what are you actually looking for? Bitcoin itself (the currency) might not be your solution.
If you want to "conquer" the world, you can't do it with Bitcoin. Like you can't conquer the world with the dollar itself.
You need to focus the technology. The blockchain along with it, bringing a new economy generation with freedom and decentralization.
It's something that should be written a new bible about in my opinion. Before you learn Bitcoin, learn economy. Once you master this skill, own Bitcoin as one of your cards.

I would like to hear some of your opinions and hear some smart words because I believe people think investing Bitcoin will make their life done financially but I honestly think it's not true.
Honestly this is not my main income right now because I have a job that basically a stable in terms of an income. We all know that bitcoins price is not stable but the positive reaction of this was we can gained a one hit huge income that no other cryptocurrency can do it.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons Why We Should Love Bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 02:40:29 PM
In the place I live most people I invite to know bitcoin always refuse to recognize bitcoin... What happened to this people?

This is the reason why we have to love bitcoin :
- Bitcoin Makes Trade Easier
Modern economics is rooted in the belief that competition in the global economy is a free What this means is that when nations interact through peaceful relations and trade all participants will get benefit. This belief is at the root of all arguments for free trade and globalization; the more opportunities there are for people on Earth to trade with each other. As the first globally available avenue for sending value around the world instantly, the Bitcoin payment network should be an immensely powerful tool for fostering the continued globalization of trade and, by extension, greater prosperity for all of humanity. people should recognize this opportunity.
- Bitcoin is not controlled by any Government or agency
The Blockchain database using bitcoin is not controlled by one party, but rather the very open to the public so that it is impossible for someone to fabricate transactions on Blockchain. The entire transaction was recorded live, transparent, and spread to millions of servers. Those who want to alter or falsify the data transaction Bitcoin, must compromise millions of these servers at the same time.
- secure
You might think that the bitcoin system open source enables a computer genius can break system bitcoin and published a number of bitcoin for himself. In fact this system has been reviewed by various circles as flawless. Every past transaction data stored in all peer across the network, and must be a sequence. Each transaction will be verified by a number of peer recently was declared valid. Bitcoin system is safe, unsafe is users and money exchangers. Just as the internet banking password, hackers could easily steal some money from you if your computer is infected by a virus.

In the end though, there is people will probably continue to disregard what is going on with Bitcoin. And that’s ok. It just means there’s more for the rest of us to love.

And for you guys, why continue to love bitcoin?

For me, in my own understanding why we should love bitcoin is the most obvious reason is the fact bitcoin is a life-changing its help us to earn money and an opportunity to be a success to our goal and dreams in life for our financial problems to out needs also to our family. Bitcoin really helps us. Smiley
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For how long will bitcoin exist on: March 11, 2018, 01:18:09 PM
i have been thinking bitcoin cannot last forever..............i need you guys opinion if what im thinking is right.

For me, bitcoin will last longer or maybe forever because nowadays in the world of bitcoin the trend is high many people having an interest in trading and buying bitcoin. As long as there is a demand and there are many investors investing and many companies also advertising using bitcoin on this site, the end wouldn't come of bitcoin industry.  Smiley
