81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic? on: May 24, 2018, 12:59:01 PM
I don't believe there is cause for allarm when people sell their tokens, doesn't matter  when and what time they sell them off, it may lead to dumping but if the coin is a good one then there is nothing to fear, just hold on to your coin as long as possible, after the dump, at a slow pace though,. It will recover and regain the lost value,
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2018, 10:03:56 PM
I think the media's reaction to BItcoin is mainly influenced, most media houses are either owned by some influential figures or are under influence of some powerful people, these people use their powers to within the media houses to act on their own interests, which is unfortunate but happening. The media houses therefore don't act independently but are rather directed to spread negativity on  BTC Either by the governments or by influential personalities
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: May 23, 2018, 07:14:15 AM
I'd say killing yourself because of cryptocurrency related losses is one of the dumbest thing anyone can do, when getting in, we all know how volatile the cryptocurrency business is. The market is unpredictable and anything can happen, that's why we are advised to risk only what we can lose,  once someone makes money of trading, they always try to go back and get more, putting more stakes at risk, if not careful, this can lead to very  dissapointing losses, but if handled well, only profits will come your way
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why many banks hate cryptocurrency ? on: May 23, 2018, 07:07:23 AM
Cryptocurrency posses a huge threat to the Banking system, the open and public ledger they operate on Thanks to block chain, keeps a huge amount of records  and accurately avails them in a short period of time, there I little room for error, as opposed to what the BAnks are offering, with cryptocurrency, your is also safe, secured and freeof taxation, something the banks cannot offer as they are under institutional regulations. People might therefore opt for cryptocurrency, thus pushing the banks out of the market
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: May 23, 2018, 07:01:26 AM
Fake news has been one of the biggest challenges in the cryptocurrency Industry, people come up with  baseless assumptions asn sores them over a number of plaftorms where there is ready audience who agian distribute the information, unauthentic sources of information some with  intent of propaganda has come up overtime with various claims that aren't of help and people tend to believe them, if only we could verify the sources of the news then it could be plus as we will not consume just news
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: May 18, 2018, 08:16:06 PM
Id really love to see and understand why such claims can come to be, cryptocurrency is a high risk affair but it has nothing to do with danger, Crypto is not dangerous,, the governments are threatened by the freedom crypto offers the masses and are afraid that people might totally shift to cryptocurrency, there by paralyzing the government institution, The fact that its difficult to tax crypto denies the government income tax, something they consider a threat to the national economy so its not really about crypto but more about what the government is losing
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin: is it the coin of the future ? on: May 18, 2018, 08:14:14 PM
Bitcoin has all the qualities and factors necessary to be the future coin,This will be majorly dependent on who comes on top of the legislation battles, bitcoin or the Governments. If Bitcoin comes out on top then there will be no stopping Bitcoin, it will remain free of the governmental regulations and may attract more interest in it, increasing he market cap and hence higher value, if the governments win on e other hand,Bitcoins will be highly regulated which may hinder its growth to the top
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: May 17, 2018, 06:42:17 PM
Bitcoin can and will survive the Crypto industry as long as possible, its still the crypto king and boasts of the highest market cap and the highest value, its use within the platform keeps growing and its influence is being felt even outside the crypto market, For now, Bitcoin is here to stay there is no changing that
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: May 17, 2018, 06:31:45 PM
5k is a good amount to invest in crypto and can get you considerable returns if done properly and with proper caution, For that money id say you devide the money in three portions, The first portion, invest in Bitcoin, its a coin that will get you good returns both in the long run and short run, Another portion pot into ETH, this is a future crypto king that is slowly gaining value but will be a force to recon in future, and the last bit, put into ICOs, this will need proper research but good ICO will get you good returns.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: May 17, 2018, 06:11:13 PM
Fake news are some of the biggest challenges that are facing the crypto industry currently unauthenticated and and unverified news somehow show up and is spread all over making people worry  or cause panic among the masses, if nly people can authenticate news before spreading the rumours it would be fantastic
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: May 17, 2018, 06:07:14 PM
There are problems associated with newbies especially account verification,  None of the authentic and effective exchange platforms were built with beginners in mind, so the only option is o adjust, watch videos and learn an a slow pace till you are capable of handling things by yourself, amazing platforms such as YOBIT, Etherdelta, and cryptopia can be of use to ou as you learn as there is little sitoshi involved, once you are well conversant with the trade then you can move to Bitrex and Binace
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: May 16, 2018, 06:11:43 AM
cryptocurrency has a bright future though there are sizable challenges coming its way, Many people still do not believe in crypro, most thinking its a scam and that one day people will wake up and crypto is gone, this is majorly because of the negative campaigns by the governments institutions and some of the very influential figures who have come out and spoke negatively against crypto, Other than that, crypto is gaining ground fairly well, and if the trend continues, crypto will be one of the major forces around
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to be used as world currency? on: May 16, 2018, 06:10:15 AM
Bitcoin is a world currency already, its used all over the word by everyone interested in using it, the more people gain interest in it the more it grows, at some point, there will be no stopping BTC
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining , Is it worth it? on: May 16, 2018, 06:08:59 AM
Its very worth taking part in mining Bitcoins especially in those countries where electricity is cheap. It might be technical and time consuming but the returns are high,  The efficient hardware needed to mine does not come cheap also, as long as you are god at what ou are doing ,or is in the correct p[ol of miners who equally share the loot then there id nothing to fear of ,Bitcoin mining will pay you back all you have invested in and more, just keep the expenses low to max the profits
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 06:07:06 AM
The battle between governments and Bitcoins is an interesting one,yet it wil determine the fate of the coin, if the governments embrace BTC then it will be good news for Bitcoins and its investors, if not then we will be on the losing side, and lots of value will be lost
96  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: May 16, 2018, 06:04:50 AM
This is a desparet move that is not expected from a respectable figure like Ron, deceiving new investors is not something that should betaken lightly, why does he do that if he is certain of the qyality of the coin he is representing, a serious action should be taken on such people
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for bitcoin? on: May 11, 2018, 05:44:39 AM
There are lots of places you can store your bitcoins, but the place to avoid the most is on the exchange wallets, these are very vulnerable and has history of getting hacked, so unless you are trading, avoid the exchange wallets. The safest places to store bitcoins so far are the hardware wallets, you can chose between Trezor and Ledger Nano S. These are by far the best storage facilities, coz they mainly keep your coins off the internet making it difficult for unaccepted access. They also give you the option to verify every transaction before making them
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: May 11, 2018, 05:44:06 AM
Ethereum is a good coin that has proven its worth overtime, the project it has is one of the future and it still has a lot of time to develop. Ethereum runs on the best technology and the transaction speed is high, its wallet MEW, cheaply available and equally effective making it one of the best coins there is, i don't see the reason as to why you should wait any longer to buy ETH, the prices will soar at some point and you may no longer be able to afford it so take advantage of when its still affordable and buy.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: May 10, 2018, 06:01:39 PM
The Crypto market is of late operating under lots of influence, its unfortunate that it no longer seems to operate on a legitimate  market forces of demand and supply to determine the value and prices, Yes there seem to be an external forces influencing the Bitcoin prices, A factor that is not only unfair but also unfortunate as there are a number of people out there that are banking on the freedom and independence of Bitcoin yet its currently under external influence.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: May 10, 2018, 05:59:20 PM
Its unfortunate that airdrops no longer live up to their expectations, There are a number of them coming up each and everyday with lots of promises but few actually live up to the expectations. not all are however disappointments, there are actually good programs which actually pay what they promise, its just difficult to come across such though
