81  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: May 07, 2018, 08:07:36 AM
Well I just want to share some information regarding on how to start a business because as we can see, we are all want to have a stable business and we want to be a very good entrepreneur someday because if we're just working and working to earn money then if we can't work anymore we won't be able to sustain our needs anymore. I think this is worth reading especially those who are planning to build an ICO or a project. I've got this from my professor on college :

NOTE-REFERENCES :  Webster’s College Dictionary (Random House/McGraw Hill)
What is an Entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur: A person who organizes and manages an enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
Initiative: Readiness and ability in initiating action.
Risk: The hazard or chance of loss.

NOTE-REFERENCES : The Portable MBA in Entrepreneurship, 2nd Ed.; William D. Bygrave, Editor. John Wiley and Sons Publishers, 1997.
What Does it Take to Be Successful?
  • “In entrepreneurship, luck is where preparation and opportunity meet.”
  • “The idea is not what is important. In entrepreneurship; ideas are a dime a dozen. Developing the idea, implementing it, and building a successful business are the important things.”
  • “Would-be entrepreneurs who are unable to name customers are not ready to start a business. They have only found an idea and have not yet identified a market need.”
  • Somehow, someday… you are going to have to earn POSITIVE CASH FLOW. You need more than a revenue model (but you do need that). You need a VALUE model.
  • Market share is great, but you can’t pay bills with it.
  • You can do some financially stupid things to build market share.
Where Do You Start?
Think about WHO is going to want your product/service, what they will PAY for it, what you will NEED to carry it off, and how you will MAKE MONEY someday. That is, make a PLAN.

Success depends on
positive cash flow, growth,
 and value creation.

Owners and investors who forget that tend to get “naturally deselected.”

The Importance of Value Creation

  • A successful business is one that delivers value to its customers and creates value for its owners.

Value is delivered to your customers when you do something for them
Better
Cheaper
Faster
Cooler
Different

However, it is likely that none of these will work for long, so continuous improvement and innovation are essential.

Value is created for the owners when:
-You do more with their money than they could do with it themselves
-You invest in productive activities that earn rates of return greater than their risk-adjusted costs of capital.
-The present value of future cash flows exceeds the startup costs.

Value is created by:
-Exploiting proprietary physical resources
-Possessing proprietary knowledge or expertise
-Creating a new or improved product, process, or service
-Staying ahead of the competition through constant improvement and innovation

Planning for Success

-Don’t plan a business for today – Plan it for at least a year from now.
-Moore’s Law: Computing power will roughly double every 18 months.
-Bandwidth will continue to increase for most users almost ad infinitum.
-People will live longer and maintain active lifestyles far after retirement.
-Energy sources and consumption patterns will change drastically.
-The world will continue to be a very dangerous place.

How To Not Get Funded

-Have a half-baked idea
-Have a meatless business plan
-Can’t articulate your value proposition
-Can’t identify your market potential
-Can’t justify your sales projections
-Can’t show your investors an exit
-Can’t show your investors a reasonable expectation of a reasonable return on investment
-Don’t think about risk
-Take no risk yourself
-Don’t take time to do your homework
-Try to fund a “lifestyle” venture

Funding Your Venture

-The hardest funding to raise is the first funding. You are probably on your own.
-Later funding gets progressively easier depending on the results you can show to investors and what you need to fund.
-BANKS are probably not going to help.
-The best funding is INTERNAL funding (reinvested earnings).
-PRIVATE EQUITY is the current buzzword for the major capital source for business ventures.
Closing thoughts

For me, if  you are planning to build up a business even if its big or small be sure that you have a capital that support your to your business. secondly you have a knowledge on how to manage an effective business, therefore you are hard working not during there is costumer but also when there is no.Thirdly you are willing to accept all attitude of your costumer probably there are some costumer that boastful sometimes in that point you are also open-minded for that particular case. thanks.

For me the most important to  consider before starting a business is location.  The best location that is fir for your business that your going to build. Then follow your marketing strategies on how to market your business. Capital and knowledge is already their before you decide to build the business.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I stop panic selling cryptocurrency? on: May 07, 2018, 04:23:50 AM
Most of the panic sellers are those who are just newbies in the business or trading, and most specially if they do not know any knowledge on bitcoin at all. They are just going with the flow even if do not get the profit from what they invested. That is why.

I agree that panic selling is mostly common to a newbie or lack of knowledge  about bitcoin. Even if we have enough knowledge abiut bitcoin yet we have to  make a good strategy in bitcoin or cryptocurrency. We can consult before we sell.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: May 06, 2018, 12:19:31 PM
There’s a chance because of that scam I hope it will not because many people rely their incomes in bitcoin.

I don' t think so that bitcoin will be banned on the Philippines because of the news that we heard  in news or online about people use bitcoin use to scam other filipinos.  Other investor in bitcoin gain profit and earn passive income. Better we focus on our goal instead of listening other negative opinion.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sale what is opinion ? on: May 06, 2018, 10:30:10 AM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them or hold.

In my opinion if your not urgently needed a money right away you can still hold on your altcoins. Maybe the price is down right now ,sooner it will rise again and that is the right time for you to sell it. You have to be patience and believe. The decision still up to you.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government destroy Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 10:00:45 AM
As recently government are banning bitcoin in some countries. Do you think can government distroy bitcoin?

The government cannot destroy bitcoin immediatly. It is a long process and i think it has 20 % success rate. The government need a concrete evidence to  validate  the reason why they have to destroy bitcoin.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 05, 2018, 02:53:51 AM
I think the best way to shut up bitcoin haters is to prove that you are earning on bitcoin. When I was starting at bitcoin, there are a lot of negative comments from my friends and they were always telling me to be cautious. Only a few of them supported me and those people are investing on bitcoin as well. They are earning enough money for their needs and they never regret investing on bitcoin even if the price goes up and down.

To shut up bitcoin haters is to show them your good results or outcome. In the process of managing your investment in bitcoin you will hear lots of negative feedback and comments about it.  They try to change your mind of what you believe. As I recommend that you need to do anything to them, just let them talk and everyday they will check on you. Once you have a good result, eventually they will shut off like tjey sont exist.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 12:55:26 AM
Yes definitely even in short courses only just to enlighten and gain more knowledge about bitcoin so that people has awareness on how it would started, what is the purpose of it, the value in the market and how it use to be.

I will love to enroll like a seminar or short term courses to learn more about bitcoin. As a newbie, there are lots of information that i need to know to be knowlegable on how to manage bitcoin.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: April 30, 2018, 07:22:00 AM
I have a few simple things that I do, firstly whenever I decide I want to buy something I always wait a period of time after that initial decision, let's say 2 weeks, if after 2 weeks I still want it then I ask myself why I really need it and if it will improve my life, if the answer is yes then I'll buy it.

We had similar way of deciding to buy a things. Only that i dont wait for two weeks. It only took me  30 mins or an hour to decide to buy . First , i have to think on how important should i buy a particular stuff. Second, have to identify if it is a need or just want. Lastly, if it is worth it to spend a money for a particular thing and my budget is enough to spend it.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: April 30, 2018, 06:31:05 AM
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol

It is very normal that we feel sometime tiring in doing our role as we join bounty campaign , specially if the campaign has a long period of time. What can i suggest when we feel tired is we just have to think a again our main reason or goal why we join bounty campaign at first.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: April 29, 2018, 10:12:14 PM
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??

In my country , low to average profile still using paper money in every transactions. They are more comfortable  to used it because they have'nt properly educate and inform the benefits in using digital money . Those high profile citizen , they are more comfortable bringing there debit or credit cards. More convenient for hassle free transaction becauase it is easy and quick. As an average citizen, i prefer to use card in every big transactions.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: April 26, 2018, 10:38:11 AM
Take time to learn about bitcoin and it won't seem complicate for you even if you are an ordinary folk. It takes time to learn about new things

There is no complicated if you dont want to complicate it. Before you start to invest bitcoin you have to do research, learn about bitcoin or crytocurrency specially if you are an ordinary folks. It will only complicate if you have lots of excuses to entertain with.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: April 24, 2018, 04:57:55 AM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty

I think it will depend on the situation once you receive your token after the campaign.  If there is an opportunity that you can gain profit once you sell the token, you can sell all your token or the half of your token then hold the remaining token for bigger opportunity.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency kills people on: April 21, 2018, 08:58:03 PM
He has a point because cryptocurrency with the current setting could easily be an avenue of hiding fund that could fuel all these bad vices. However, I believe you don't throw away the baby with the bad water. It is high time the government step in and have a measure of control without stopping the freedom we currently enjoy in the world of cryptocurrency.

It will depend on humans action and behavior. Crytocurrency can be use an instrument to  kill people but we dont need to generalize . Lots of instruments use to kill  people even the word you say .
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering? on: April 21, 2018, 10:37:11 AM
Bitcoin is clearly not the main problem, but it helps criminals to laundering money easier.Bitcoin is in fact use for people and criminals to hide money from governments for many reasons. If they had to use US$ the laundering is more difficult. Using Bitcoin the laundering is much easier because it can be value transfer between individuals, across international borders, and so forth. Using dollars is easier to track and catch criminals.

I agree with you that bitcoin  is not the main problem because even the paper money that bank  or government controlled can use in money laundering. The problem is us (not all) , some are too greedy to  get rich in instant in easy way and effortless then we become victim or suspect in money laundering .
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Whose problems does Bitcoin solve? on: April 21, 2018, 05:04:01 AM
All problems of bitcoiners is solved by bitcoin. In terms of financial the bitcoin help people for their financial status. It helps a lot of people for their needs.

The main problem that bitcoin will solve is debt or any financial matters.  High profile , average and low profile experience financial problem in different situation. So we look for extra income or some rich invest there other assests to grow. Then we found bitcoin that we can earn more.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: April 20, 2018, 03:18:10 PM
I was very lucky to purchase some bitcoins today. I think you are spot on. If less than 50 million will be made, the value per bit coin will be ridiculous in the coming months...

I love the confident. As long we we value and have faith in investing bitcoin 5 - 10 years from now we are the new wealthy elite. As long we are in the right track in doing bitcoin and always stay strong for the upcoming challenges.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: April 20, 2018, 10:20:17 AM
Bounties don't really give a lot (for the most part), so, if you have some money you're willing to part with - invest.

If you are begginer yet already  have enough money you can invest and do some reserch to know how to manage your coin. Be wise and do some research before investing.  Like me, I choose bounty to earn coin ,
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Salary Paid in Bitcoin - would you do it? on: April 16, 2018, 02:47:24 PM
A company did an interesting social media experiment on people's acceptance of cryptocurrency as a method of payment for salary.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vcGUeDlnLU&t=30s

Looks as though it could possibly have been staged by the company (I don't think so??), but the results seemed similar to what I would expect if it was genuine. And I think it is actually a clever way of promoting their token sale, more potential to go viral than other promotional videos I've seen. Anyway, personally I think I would be happy to take cryptocurrency as at least part payment for salary, and depending on circumstances, the whole amount.

No, I think it is not a good idea. many people dont know about bitcoin and every country has currency. It is imposible, we cannt to fulfill our needs with it.

I think for this year or after 5 years , bitcoin as salary is not a good idea because bitcoin is not yet stable and not all citizen known about bitcoin. So it take time and years to inform and propely educate bitcoin. If the bitcoin is the salary , the transportation fare , commodities , rents ,etc need to use bitcoin as payment.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the next step in your life after you have gotten rich with Cryptos? on: April 16, 2018, 10:07:03 AM
I have a dream to build my own company, with some help of friends I'm sure I can achieve my dreams. now crypto is really helping me and I'm sure crypto will also help me to achieve my dream
Buy an apartment and go travel. I think for a couple of years with friends to go elsewhere.

I build my dream house for family. Invest in real property and build mountain valley in my province. Being rich is not enough yet to fullfill all my dreams, so i jave to.make sure i will still generate a passive income . Then i will build my own foundation to help those children who wants to finish college yet cant afford.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Scammers Are Making Fortunes By Ripping Off 'Greedy' Investors on: April 16, 2018, 07:18:13 AM
Greed is what is often targeted by the scammers. Take bitconnect for example, it was an obvious ponzi scheme but people still fell for it because they believed that they would make millions in such a little time. If you don't want to get scammed, don't be greedy.

Those who are victim of  scammers are also contributer of their loss. They allowed themself to manipulate by scammers. Being greedy will only lead problem in our lives. And it is very impossible to be a millionnare in just a week , month or year. It takes 5 to 10 years or more with hard work.
