Ok, this was replied in an earlier post by achow101:
"You can assume you have the correct binary because the signature is good. However, the warning means that you personally have not trusted this key. Ideally you would meet up with Wladimir and he would show you his ID and his key fingerprint and prove to you that he is in control of the key. However, since that isn't likely to happen, you can check who else has signed his key, and if you trust them, you can set your own trust on his key."

Is this really critical to transfer all the bitcoins on own computer?

I keep them on www.blockchain.info, but it looks like there are risks.

What is your opinion?

Well I've always read all over the place that you should never keep all your bitcoins online (whether online exchanges or wallets).

Thanks man !

I hope that if I run binaries directly without moving them the program will locate the blockchain that I already have completely downloaded from an earlier install ...

EDIT: Ok, added path, executed bitcoin-qt and runnign fine and recognized the blockchain I had downloaded previously !

Now to tackle the Armory Wallet from hell side !!!

Thanks, extracted the tgz and now have in a folder but what do I do with it?

Do I just copy the files of the different folders (bin, include, lib, share) to the corresponding folders in my root directory?
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.14.0 Released on: March 16, 2017, 03:42:49 PM
Hi

I installed this version adding to the repository packages and then sudo apt-get install bitcoin-qt

But then I read that it's safer to install directly using the Linux TGZ found at https://bitcoin.org/en/download, which I want to install instead.

I'm running latest version of Lubuntu (instead of just Ubuntu because  wanted to have better performance as Lubuntu is a lighter ubuntu flavor).

Surprizingly I've been looking around all over the web and I cannot find anywhere HOW TO INSTALL the Bitcoin Core tgz. Can anyone help please ?

Thanks
87  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: HOW CAN I VERIFY EASY INSTALL 2.7.18 for Linux on ubuntu ? on: March 10, 2017, 12:24:29 AM
Thanks again but I didn't download anything directly. I installed using this commenad shown on the electrum download page:

sudo pip install https://download.electrum.org/2.7.18/Electrum-2.7.18.tar.gz

So, since the command uses "pip" I have to trust that it is verified just installing like that right ?
88  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: HOW CAN I VERIFY EASY INSTALL 2.7.18 for Linux on ubuntu ? on: March 08, 2017, 01:48:50 PM
Thanks for all the replies. I',m making screenshots and saving all the good information  for reference, thanks

Perhaps for now I will trust that what I installed using apt-get is already verified by apt prior to installation, so no need for to to further verify...
89  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: HOW CAN I VERIFY EASY INSTALL 2.7.18 for Linux on ubuntu ? on: March 06, 2017, 05:21:10 PM
Thanks, then I guess I need to uninstall Electrum first as I installed using the sudo apt-get install python-qt4 python-pip    etc etc
terminal cmmands to install it, and then follow the installation using Python sources

91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.13.2 Released on: March 03, 2017, 03:20:52 PM
Hi

I installed Bitcoin Core for Ubuntu through the ubuntu software center. When I see the ABOUT tab it says:

Bitcoin Core version v0.13.2.0-g0d71914(32-bit)

Trying to find some reference to this specific version but can't. Can someone help and let me know if it's a valid version and where I could find some reference to it, before I start the verification process?

Thanks very much in advance
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can i buy BTC with a Prepaid visa on: March 02, 2017, 02:50:23 PM
first post. i have been searching for the answer to that question lately and i did find it. you can use coinbase or circle, but there is waiting times to get verified and all that... i bought some btc through coin.mx.. you do have to verify your card through video, but there is a live chat on the site and as soon as you send your video in you can just chat with them live and they will verify it right away. it took me about 20 minutes to sign up and get verified to buy my btc. once you buy, you get the btc right away. no wait time. you can google reviews to see that they are somewhat a trusted site. only catch is they take 7.5% of your deposit. i bought 60$ worth btc and they got 4.5$ i believe it was. if your just trying to get some quick btc and don't care to pay fees, then that is the way to go. that is the easiest way to get btc that i have personally found.

That's true, early adopters are the one who are elite and continues to fall under the elite group. Truly speaking at the days of bitcoin, none could have expected such a growth. Everyone same as picking a slot went for bitcoin, but the potential and the luck of picking the right slot made them elite.

Oh but haven't you heard...prediction bitcoin  at 3000 end of this year ?
And 5000 next year...

I would have been happy if i had bought at the beginning of 2013 , when bitcoin was at 4$, instead of during the first ATH and downtrend... Cry

Why? The first ATH was less than $0.01. I would rather have bought then.

I meant the 2013 ATH around 1200

96  Local / Mercado y Economía / Re: Cambiar BTC a EUR on: February 24, 2017, 07:01:14 PM
hola buenas,

98  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.95.1 is out on: February 15, 2017, 02:27:43 PM
Ok suppose it would be OK to use the newest older version that did support 32 ?
99  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.95.1 is out on: February 14, 2017, 08:03:45 PM
Hi using an older computer with Ubuntu 14.04 lts

Tried installing this version:

/Downloads/armory$ sudo dpkg -i armory_0.95.1_amd64.deb

 but got:

error processing archive armory_0.95.1_amd64.deb (--install):
package architecture (amd64) does not match system (i386)

Supposer I would need a 32 version. Is there any solution, thanks?

Coinbase is very famous for this shit...  https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5nrz59/i_am_done_with_coinbase_they_fraudulently/

They did this to me too.  I think the fuckers are stealing from their customers everytime the market moves a considerable amount.  Holy crap, don't use Coinbase.

Rawdog, seriously? You finally bought some bitcoin? Welcome to the new wealthy elite even if you are a late adopter. Don't you wish you had listened to Davincij when he started mining so many many years ago.... Cheesy
