Nutlaw to .0009~

Almost at .001 yaaay lol.

I don't think that counter is tied to anything, it just keeps plugging away regardless of how many people are mining or total Hash rate.

I've been busy today trying to get my new (old) mining rig put together and up and running. I got my new Sapphire R9 270X OC 4GB card yesterday and I got a little anxious to see what it could do, but I'm a cgminer newbie and I've gone through a lot of trial and error with it, but now I've got it up and cranking out about 443Kh/s, but I think I can squeeze a little more out of it yet. However, I did all this in my kid's gaming computer, which is the same one I had the two Asus GTX 650Ti boost cards in, but that isn't it's intended landing place. I've got an old Asus AM2+ motherboard, 4GB of some old DDR2 RAM that I've had for several years and it used to be my main system, but I had gotten rid of the old Athlon II dual core chip I had for it, well, late this afternoon, the chip I bought from Ebay got here, I got it installed on the Mobo, but then it became decision time, either take my card offline for an extended period to complete the setup of this other system, because that old board doesn't have an integrated graphics chip, so it has to have a video card, or install one of the two Asus GTX cards to allow me to get Win 7, all the updates and all the other basic software needed to keep this thing operating and on the internet 24/7. I've chosen the second option, because I can use one of the nVidia cards to get everything I need to do to have the computer ready to just make the leap from one system to the other except for the installation of the AMD Catylist software and moving just moving the cgminer, nutcoin wallet and copies of a couple other programs that I use such as Open Hardware Monitor to keep an eye on all my components to make sure I'm not burning something up, but so far my GPU has never touched 70c, even with the door on the case. In the meantime though, by using the nVidia card, I can continue to run the new Sapphire card while I get my dedicated mining rig up and going and finish getting it tweaked out. I'm hoping to see 450Kh/s out of it. I've already reached my starting goal that I was basing what I thought I knew for sure I could get out of it, which was 430Kh/s, so everything from here on is just gravy on the top. I'm getting real close to 2.5x what I was getting out of those two nVidia cards. I've found that tuning your card to cg miner is a lot like overclocking, tweak a setting, make a test run, tweak a setting, make a test run... I'm still crackin' nuts though.  Wink

Your temps are very good imo. My 5870 under full load goes 71c max

That's odd, since yesterday I got downgraded from member to newbie.. wth...

Same here but from jr member to newbie, maybe new rules?  I do have less restrictions though which is good.

I think they look at what forums you go to as well... I was made jr member when I was also posting in the other sections of the forum... Now I just stay in this section and although my activity increased I was downgraded to newbie again lol

I'm almost done getting back my profit loss from the usde dice game hahaha

I think the very silent launch was a good idea.

Usually when you announce a coin and hype everyone up that's when people who love dumping start to consider mining your coin.

The fact that we're growing but at a slow pay means that the people mining this coin right now are (mostly) in it for the long run and not for quick cash.

dmx any news coming soon? :3 what's the estimated supply so far??
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Next Generation Crypto Currency on: January 21, 2014, 10:21:18 PM
So the coin will have a dollar value of 10 cents in four months...

Those who've mined 10 million by now are already millionaires within the year if nutlaw prevails lol.

I think currency itself should have buying power. There is only Nutlaw now.

I found crypto-payment gate way site. https://www.coinpayments.net/home

When I was applying Nutcoin for enlisting, I found that 1 major exchange required for applying.

Exchanges are not only pump-dump place, but also place for price.

True, but exposing a new coin too early into an exchange will lead to a pump and dump though. It would really depend on the community in the end. Problem is how many of the miners here are really willing to save their coins for the future as opposed to getting quick cash.

I think that's why the dev chose the launch to be silent. He's probably trying to not get much attention so that only those who really have eyes on investing in nut would join the mining.

Ok, I'm enjoying silent mining as well. I think there is no one who will dump Nut at cheap price.
We are all mining Nuts, not Doge, because of its potentail.

I hope so Sad

If this does go on an exchange now I just hope they don't start dumping at 0.0000001 btc prices -_-

The longer before it hits an exchange the higher chance of it not dieing immediately after.

This is something the majority just will not accept:/ Noble, Digi, Micro, USDe - everyone is screaming to get to Cypsty and ignoring those who explain why it is a bad move. Is the common consensus in this thread that NUT should not be pushed to an exchange?

Majority of the people I've seen posting regularly indeed think that it would be wise for nut NOT to be in an exchange until so a time that it wouldn't be affected by pump and dumps.

And if you read the first post it's real goal is for nut to have value in the long run and not asap Smiley

Sweet music, you got yourself a new follower.Cheesy I saw the long term plan, but if the community decides to push there isn't much to do about it.

There isn't only Cryptsy in the life. Grin

All the coins you cited was added on https://www.coinmarket.io/ and I smell a good success for this exchange, it is lightning fast.

I know.. I don't understand what you are answering to Tongue

Welcome aboard! Grin

Plenty of nuts to go around <3 I think the dev is planning something big soon so I suggest you rev up your rigs xD

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Next Generation Crypto Currency on: January 20, 2014, 03:04:29 PM
Would an exchange this early be fine? :/ I was thinking of voting nuts to be added to io but I fear for dumpers T.T

Probably not an issue to go an an exchange now.

People will try to dump it. It's going to happen and price will drop temporarily, then settle. The question is what happens after that initial dump.

I see.. true.. usde had dumps after being placed on coinmarket but it's a small exchange so far... I wonder how it would fair in cryptsy

If nut were added there I hope they wouldnt dump at very low prices :/

Good afternoon everyone. How does everyone know USDe is undervalued? Personally I too think it is undervalued, but I have no info to support it except for comparisons to already established coins. Is it just what people feel about it or is it something else? As far as I can see the market(the small one we got ATM) has decided the current value. Are we talking potential value? Me no English so that might be why I don't get it. Someone enlighten me please!

+1 want to know also how the coin was measured for value?Huh

Bitember fees lowered to 1%.

Will shift to you later Smiley

Wanna try...sorry though, I don't think I'd be much of a difference hashing at 240-280khps lol
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Next Generation Crypto Currency on: January 20, 2014, 04:47:26 AM

So far it's just electricity and time. I can't really count time, because I'd be doing something else anyhow and I find this interesting. My electricity isn't too bad, because I don't have one of those mining rigs that takes up a whole wall with 50 video cards. I also believe in your basic vision for this coin and I'm gonna invest in several video cards (7) to start with to mine this coin 24/7 to see where it takes me. That being said, we are eagerly awaiting some news on what you are working on, as I've said in previous posts, "You need to feed your squirrels a little information." It's hard for us to generate any real interest in the community when we've got very little to go on. I'm still here though and my only fear at the moment is of our pools drying up to the point nobody wants to host them because they're taking up valuable space on their servers. I keep trying to gin up interest on other forums, but all I've really got to tell people is that the difficulty is very low right now. At the same time I could understand if you are working on something that you don't want to be general knowledge until it actually happens, there's always something to "Being firstest with the mostest," and if you let something out of the bag before it's ready, that might not happen. I'm not going anywhere unless they kick me of the pool server.  Wink

I still see this as the most innovative and promising coin in the long run so far. Other coins keep saying they're making stuff to prevent pump n dumps but so far most of them end up pumped and dumped lol.

NutLaw to $0.0008, keep mining and keep your coins.

For those who are selling their nutcoins in this incubation phase:
1) we have a long term vision for NutCoin, so yes, it WILL take a while to get a cool ROI
2) no matter if nobody buy your coins for now. NutCoin is still at a really insignificant value VS the $1 target in 4 years. One day it would be too late to get cheap nutcoins.

For all of you, the early investors in NutCoin: hold on, your effort will be rewarded in the next few months.

I promise to give you news soon.

Roger that! Will do sir Smiley

I don't mind if it takes awhile so long as we have assurance that something is about to happen, be it in a few months or weeks haha.
