81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins in a bubble? on: March 16, 2017, 07:59:08 AM
Only coins with actual real world application are not in a bubble the rest is  Smiley

I have my shortlist of coins that are not in a bubble

Both coins I hold and will hodl long term
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon's A4 Dominator, 1.2W/Mhs 14nm ASIC and miner, open for Partners on: March 16, 2017, 07:47:47 AM
my other question is there any open Source Software for that version of CGMINer ?  and i wish BFG worked with it , i know it doesn't ...

No, there is no opensource version of CGminer.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need special motherboard? on: March 15, 2017, 03:59:58 PM
the more gpu's the more unstable the system. If you have many gpu's on one system and one system shuts down than you have more gpus that are not mining.
5 seems to be stable enough, 6 maybe, more I don't really see the practical use for
85  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Belasting op Bitcoins on: March 15, 2017, 08:40:21 AM

in schijf 2: 4.6*.30 = 1.38 %
in schijf 3: 5.39*.3 = 1.617%

https://www.belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/bldcontentnl/belastingdienst/prive/vermogen_en_aanmerkelijk_belang/vermogen/belasting_betalen_over_uw_vermogen/grondslag_sparen_en_beleggen/berekenen_belasting_over_uw_inkomsten_uit_vermogen_vanaf_2017

86  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Graag advies on: March 15, 2017, 08:28:50 AM
Wat ik zou doen is hetvolgende:

Kijk altid even in de mempool
https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-count

http://neocashradio.com/blog/how-to-rebroadcast-a-transaction-on-blockchain-info/

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Internet connection requirements for 20 rigs on: March 15, 2017, 08:22:02 AM
If the connection is only for mining than that is overkill. But for modern internet in a full household with Netflix, 4k Youtube, gaming etc it will be a good investment  Grin
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Data Center Mining Garage and Man Mining Cave ( PART 2 !!!!!!!!) on: March 15, 2017, 08:18:29 AM
Love the silver spray paint  Smiley
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: March 15, 2017, 08:17:35 AM
Hi, just wondering, are we going to get bonus if we buy mobilego ICO with game?

Yes. That detailed announcement will most likely be next week.

Can't wait!!

I hodl some Game in reserve for the ICO  Grin
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating an alt coin for my university on: March 15, 2017, 08:09:42 AM
To add to your idea, and one I had as well, you can have your university store study results on the blockchain of that coin. That way there is 0 chance for the results to be changed by hackers Smiley

On topic for your question: If I were you I would chose a coin that is active in its development and has a fast blocktime. A good one is maybe one with proof of stake. Possibly EnergyCoin
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do all coins offer something unique? on: March 15, 2017, 08:06:27 AM
According to coinmarketcap.com there are 668 coins on their site all trading.  Do they all do something different or are there a lot of copy cats and if so,  what do the 100% copycats have value?

Please show example if you can

They all offer a unique way to take your money :p
If they are not unique it is most likely created to make a quick buck
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Is not Worth More than 5$-10$ on: March 09, 2017, 02:43:58 PM
I think that Ethereum is not worth what price we have right now, it's just for contracts and new members think that Ethereum is big thing...
It's hyped because people think that this cryptocurreny will be used for payments in stores and websites, but actually not.

What you can say?

I say that the market is always right and time will tell  Smiley
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone willing to Mine Bytecoin for me? on: March 09, 2017, 02:38:44 PM
So far Minergate has a Bitcoin cloud mining feature, but not anything CryptoNote. Also, Google VPS refuses to allow cloud mining in their TOS. So here's my question:

Is anyone willing to donate their hashing on their BCN wallet to my BCN address? And if not, what service can I provide to at least earn people's donated hashing? Can I sell a product to someone in exchange for part of their hash rate?

You could just use https://www.nicehash.com/ You can mine CryptoNight there, thus ByteCoin.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PinIdea.io x11 asics on: March 09, 2017, 02:32:00 PM
Great the stuff starts to arrive  Smiley

You guys who have received the miner have any pictures of the thing?

Interesting, I will be following and deciding to invest in the ICO or not.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Weak / Narrow Blockchain AI on: March 06, 2017, 10:11:33 AM

Yeah! Applied for slack and following the forum Smiley
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the time to buy on: March 06, 2017, 10:04:12 AM
There are currently 2 altcoins I am invested in that I believe will go up in value on the long term, and there is 1 I will invest in.
The first 2 are GameCredits and EnergyCoin. The first has a proven team behind it and are steadily releasing new functionalities, and April/May will be interesting months.
EnergyCoin with start with a cool project this year and is relatively cheap to invest in.

The other project I will invest in is MobileGo, which has close ties to GameCredits. Both will profit from each other.

But as always, don't take the word of people who are already invested in coins themselves, do your own investigation and decide where you put your money.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: March 06, 2017, 09:48:59 AM
cross posting!

Well said ! But please don't forget that we have a working product and over 300 people here and on the slack that would do anything ( PR,.....) the second EK gives the green light !

I do love XEL. But I don't like unnecessary hype, which causes people to panic buy, then panic blame/sell. Best to be realistic and constructively critical.

Working product? Let's not claim working product until:

1) it's actually launched
2) it's used to solve real problems

Just having a working product is not enough, we also need a good portfolio of use cases / case studies.

Answer me this: What is the main problem XEL could solve?
(In its current about to be released form, not talking about speculation of what is possible down the road)

i agree hype can cause some ppl react purely emotional and cause some economical damage, however imo hype (pump) is the best PR in cryptoworld. without it projects like xmr, dash, even ltc and btc would never get exposed to such wide userbase and get some kind of mass adoption.  working product without exposure will stay under radar for long time, so long until something comes along and replace it!! so from my experience hype (pump) is necessary evil for project to get exposed and adopted.

Problem that XEL solves? how about cheap computation power we all crave to have access to! although XEL devs don't like to promote it, elastic best selling point imo would be CPU/GPU mining/solving other cryptocurrencies.

Agreed, a slow and steady start with a slow but steady growth is in my opinion much more desirable. To much pump at the start will leave a lot of people with losses and will leave Elastic with a bad name if it is not yet used for its intended purpose.
100  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: de volgende bitcoin on: March 01, 2017, 08:26:51 AM

Kunstmatige intelligentie inbouwen in...
