Steps for updating wallet:
Before doing anything, backup your wallet.dat file somewhere safe. don't send it to anyone.
you will need to remove all of your files in the wallet folder EXCEPT: wallet.dat, snodecoin.conf, masternodes.conf
wallet folder could be found at:
~/.snodecoin on Linux,
"~/Library/Application Support/Snodecoin" on MacOS,
%APPDATA%/Snodecoin on windows
Replace the old wallet file with the new one
Start the wallet.
The new wallet will start syncing from beginning (e.g. block 0). The POS phase started at block 13000

Masternode update:
In order to update your Snodecoin Masternode to version 3.0.0, please run the following commands:
# stop service
systemctl stop SND
# create backup
cp -r ~/.snodecoin ~/.snodecoin.bakup
# remove data from old wallet
rm -rf ~/.snodecoin/*
# copy the wallet and config files back
cp ~/.snodecoin.bakup/wallet.dat ~/.snodecoin.bakup/snodecoin.conf ~/.snodecoin.bakup/masternode.conf ~/.snodecoin
# download new wallet
cd /tmp

After the wallet has succesfully sync with the network, you can do some checkpoint test to make sure you are on the right chain. Open debug windows of the wallet and type in

a little unclear, will it cost 0.04 BTC 500 coins to run a node or to enter a node ? as I understood: 0.04 to enter a shared node and you get 1/10 of a share In phase 4 of the pre-sale, 10 SND masternode will be offer to the public (1MN = 10,000 SND) with the price of 0.04 BTC for each share of 500 SND (1/20 share) in form of shares in a shared masternode |
