81  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: April 04, 2018, 12:37:55 AM
So much so that 15% of banks world wide expect to widely implement blockchain, which is a ledger of transactions updated in real time by various institutions, by next year, according to the report which surveyed 200 global banks.

These banks, mostly medium to large-sized institutions, are focusing their blockchain technology on three areas: consumer lending, retail payments, and reference data, which refers to the real-time information sharing of transactions across business divisions and institutions.

In four years, IBM says that 66% percent of banks expect to have blockchain in commercial production and at scale.

82  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: April 02, 2018, 04:16:34 AM
Freedom of payment - any amount of money can be paid and received instantly and anywhere. No bank holidays, no borders, no imposition. Bitcoin allows its users to completely control their money.

Very low fees - there is no handling charge or very little handling fee for the current payment of bitcoin. The user can include the handling fee in the transaction to obtain processing priority and receive the transaction confirmation from the network faster. In addition, there are merchant processors that help merchants deal with transactions, convert bitcoin into legal tender daily and deposit funds directly into merchants' bank accounts. Because these services are based on bitcoins, they can provide a much lower fee than PayPal or credit card networks.

Reduce the risk of merchants - bitcoin transactions are safe, irrevocable, and do not contain customer sensitivity or personal information. This avoids the loss caused by fraud or fraudulent withdrawal, and there is no need to comply with PCI standards. In places where credit CARDS cannot be used or fraud rates are too high, businesses can easily expand new markets. The net result is lower costs, bigger markets, and less administrative costs.

Security and control - bitcoin users are completely in control of their transactions; Businesses cannot force fees that may or may not be found in other payment methods. Paying with bitcoin doesn't have to be tied to personal information in transactions, which provides great protection against identity theft. Bitcoin users can also protect their money by backing up and encrypting it.

Transparency and neutrality - all information about the money supply itself is stored in a block chain, and anyone can check and use it in real time. No individual or organization can control or manipulate the bitcoin protocol because it is password protected. This makes bitcoin's core believed to be completely neutral, transparent and predictable.

it is a good thread. I like bitcoin because it is safe and secure, als prospective in future.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: April 02, 2018, 03:29:06 AM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?

No, keep calm mate. It is normal in currency.

88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: April 01, 2018, 04:30:56 AM
i doubt it.
criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. for example the ransomware that everyone is talking about these days have been around a very long time before bitcoin was created!

and besides since bitcoin doesn't offer real anonymity it can not really help the criminals as much as things like hard cash helps them.

yes I agree with you. criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. it can be happen in every where and eveytime.

93  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 31, 2018, 10:38:27 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I prefer investing gold, because its stable . in my opinion

95  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a house with BTC on: March 30, 2018, 12:29:36 PM
Can you buy a house with BTC? Yes! All you need is a buyer with coins and a seller that will accept them. The value of the transaction is as of the date of the contract, when the coins change hands.

it is posibble, but for now in my country cannt happen yet. maybe in future if many people know about bitcoin.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: March 30, 2018, 12:22:57 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

it is possible, corruption can always happen in every where.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: March 30, 2018, 12:15:17 PM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.

yes. I need regulations to regulate bitcoin transaction. it is my hope.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: March 30, 2018, 12:05:43 PM

99  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are you saying wait? on: March 30, 2018, 07:39:07 AM
In recent months, the market has dropped a lot. Many people's portfolios have fallen by 50 percent, and the answer is basically waiting.

We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.

I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.

when the price is low, you prefer to wait.
100  Other / Archival / Re: Help a Beginner to understand... on: March 23, 2018, 08:33:41 AM
Hello guys...

I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).

Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?

My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

Sorry for being an beginning idiot and asking this and thanks for everybody who can explain it to me

i think i'm a beginner but like what i know about bitcoin, it's all about privacy controls by its founders, talking about prices too, it's usual that sometimes reaches to higher levels and also dramatically goes down,
