6 rigs rented today..two of them frickking terrible, 200-800MH on one quoted at 1000KH/s and 1000KH out of one quoted as 2150KH/s
Guess I find out what the supports like today.
Always rent from those who provide support, so you can get clarity around any issues.
And, hash rates reported by pools and actual hash rates can vary depending on how the pool reports the hash rate (over what amount of time) and what the diff is.
Both claimed support neither replied, While I'm aware of huge variables I have several rentals running under separate workers to the same pool and had been watching for a period of hours, these two were clearly anomalous.
Based on the support ticket resolution it seems the only thing you need to do as a rig owner is ensure the rig is connected during the rental window, you can claim 5gh and provide 5kh (just don't do it often) and you will still get paid leaving the renter to beg for a partial refund.
"According to my logs, the rig has always been connected.
If you believe the rig was misconfigured to give proper hashrate, or that the hashrate was below the declared speed, I invite you to contact the rig owner via the "contact" link available in the history tab of your profile to negociate a partial refund, and to leave an appriopriate feeback on the rental feedback form.
-- We only do full refunds on rig being actually offline, or when the rig has a *recent* history of hashrate below declared speed."
