Hold for the long-term and reap the heavy profit is the right strategy in crypto market. But, If you want to profit in short-term then trade daily and accumulate whatever profit you see in the first look. Just enter and exit.

Holding it by months and the price will go up. It all goes to the market. And i guess we never know when it will get high or low. Its so volatile. It always go up and down. We never know.

If I hadnt seen anything like this in the past, I would have been discouraged and panic sell my coins. But this has happened before (September 2017) when there was also a big dip but when December came, prices were rising so fast. So I still think this is just the same thing, later on the prices will be back.

One of its major factors that I believe is a cause for it competing strongly against Bitcoin is the rise of its use in ICOs and also for ERC20 tokens.

Why would you need to sell alts?  Alts rise couple folds than btc.  if you bought alts at $0.2  and rise at $1 it's already 5 times fold while in btc to have 5x folds if you had converted it on $10,000 you have to wait it has to rise on $50k. That is such a long time waiting.
