Since we are @ fees again. Let me know what do you think about having alt payment method - I was thinking about DOGE. How it would work; each provider could decide to accept DOGE by entering DOGE account. The prices would still be managed in BTC, but if you as a provider accepts DOGE, customer can pay in DOGE. Price would be calculated according to current market price of DOGE, refreshed every 5 minutes. Customers would have 2 wallets online - one for BTC and one for DOGE.
It is not of a big hassle to do this dual payment method, just let me know if there is any interest for it so I do not loose time doing it.

Woohoo somebody already rented my DRK coin rig  This DarkCoin looks very good imo. But I cant figure out, why does my GPUs have much lower temperature with this coin - around 20 degrees lower. I am missing something? Could I set something better? I have there a few coins in an hour - but could I have more? Are these cards working 100 percently? |

I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe this has been covered, but I figured I'd mention it as another data point.
This service is simple in that it doesn't require a proxy pool between the rigs and the renters' pools, which is good, but it's apparently not suited to offering one big 10+ megahash farm because you'd need network access to every individual instance of cgminer.
If this problem were to be solved, I'd give it a go, but managing 10 individual rentals is a much bigger pain than one large one.

Another question - - - you wrote, there is enough customers, you need new providers.
Do you think its really true? I can see there many many not rented rigs every day (not only those with brutally high price) - providers have to go very low with prices...
Could be great to find new customers - where are you telling them this service exists? Only here or are you looking for customers elsewhere?
I think there is not such demand it deserves. More customers - higher prices - higher profit to you isnt it? Not necessary to make fees higher Smiley

If people were genuinely interested in crypto as a new form of payment then you wouldn't see so many dumps. Pumping and dumping for fiat goes against the principles of cryptocoins, and it cheats the community out of a particular coin's benefits. Not only that, but it leaves a bad mark on the community also, and makes every cryptocoin enthusiast look greedy. So if we want this coin to succeed, we need to hold onto the majority, sell off a fraction, and then spend some or give it away to increase exposure and use. I will be randomly giving away about 1 million TOP in total to random addresses because I want topcoin to succeed, which would benefit every topcoin holder. Did you miss the block halving? Only getting 100 KH or less? Sitting at a measely 100,000 TOP? Yes, we HOLD till the price is right. And even then we HOLD to buy weed with POT in Amsterdam or Denver or Seattle. I don't know why they sell it now at all. For them it is maybe just another coin that happens to be profitable to mine and sell straight away. I dont understand you people... Why are you selling for prices like 0.000035 BTC/1 POT? Is it the price of POT in your country? Are u living in Afghanistan or Moroco?  In Czech Republic is the price 0.015 BTC per 1 gram of weed - it is the right price for 1 POT. So arent we waiting for the right time? |
