Im waiting for NVIDIA 9**Ti, big impression on Maxwell chipset..

The Sterling price has to raise a lot before Geforce GTX Titan X (GM200) is within my horizon. Smiley

But with both mining and gaming in mind I still prefer the red team.

We have a feeling a few of these will end up being pointed at Cystum - http://hexus.net/tech/news/graphics/81697-slides-amd-radeon-r9-390x-wce-presentation-leaked/

If so, it would be nice to see some numbers such as temps and h/s. And maybe with and without oc incl voltage Smiley

hi guys im new to slg , after how many days or hours before can stake ? could not find in op thanks

Hi m33.  Your coins can start staking interest once they have matured, which can take up to an hour. For more information check out the link below;

http://sterlingcoin.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/StakingSterlingcoin.pdf
A thought. Is there any way to automatically unlock the wallet once it is started?

If I'm not wrong, I may autostart the wallet with Windows. But I'll not stake until I have manually unlocked the wallet.

Yes. There is no need to do it with automatic Its to risky and you gain nothing.

Will I gain the same amount if I stake 1h every quarter, 1h every week or 1h a day as if I stake 24/7?
Realising I have no idea what the criteria behind "PoS Interest: 5.5% Annually" are...

No, if you stake your coins for 1 hour every 24, you will receive 1/24th the amount than if you did for 24 hours. Smiley

The 5.5% annually is worked out like this (AFAIK) assuming you've got 10k SLG staking;

5.5% of 10,000 SLG = 550 SLG per year (or 1.5 SLG per 24 hours)

I don't have my computer running 24/7 anymore, app. 8h/day. That's why it would be smooth if I could auto-unlock my wallet when Windows starts. Smiley

Hey guys,
Am I blind or what, didn't see multipool on first page post :O It is up and running right ?

Sorry guys, been out of "business" for some time. Got some interesting real life stuff going on, including job interviews for new job Smiley

The dev team is still working on the multipool, they want to make sure that everything is in place before releasing it public. I belive this is the right way to go, if someone does not get their payout in  time it’ll be a bit of complaints and lack of trust.

I have no idea if the closed beta test has started. At least I haven't been invited. But due to the last days fluctuation of the SLG price I suspect that some business have been done by the multipool. Maybe I should by me a more powerful Antminer than my current 2U and 7970 to help the SLG price upwards.
Read more about the multipool and its progress in the following posts:

BTW. Best wishes about your new job.

Hello

I have run my Antminer U2 smoothly until I upgraded to 4.9.1. Now CGMiner report "No Devices Detected"....

--usb-dump 0 finds:
14 devices... -listing known devices .USB dev 0: Bus 4 Device 4 ID: 10c4:ea60
Manufacturer: Silicon labs
Product: CP2102 USB to UART Bridge controller
1 known USB Devices
No devices Detected
Waiting for USB Hotplug.....

Downloaded the CGminer from Bitmain support page (cgminer-run-windows-20141027.rar): https://www.bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=007201404130633105772QFG6R2u0635

And got it working with the commands: --bmsc-options 115200:20 --bmsc-freq 0981

But why does it not work with 4.9.1?

Some time when I have unplugged/plugged the antminer it has suddenly (complete random) started to mine. But this is lost once i restart cgminer or the computer.

I have installed CP210x_VCP_Windows and run zadig_2.1.1...

Pleace help, any advice is welcome. I have tried everything I can think of. Updated the motherboard chip firmware, USB firmware etc. Tried different --anu-freq values etc.

My string:
cgminer.exe --anu-freq 200 -o stratum+tcp://mine.xpool.ca:1111 -u 13Y4PwrjFdpK5JedGHt9GGABmJyPNMRR9K.ant -p x

AAArgghhhhh.

I have waited for five days to get my wallet synchronized. Having qt.exe and appdata on a NAS. Once the wallet had two weeks to sync the wallet crashed due to full disk. I'm back to square one, now temporary put the wallet on an external USB drive to my gaming computer, hoping the wallet will synchronize faster...

Once this is done I'll move my coins to Multibit, hoping all this sync struggle will be over.

Multipool Status Update

The multipool is being worked on currently.  I know we were going to release this week but I do not have certain things done that needed to be tested out first.   I have a few private messages from people who offered test hash and will be contacting you this week if you'd like to run some tests with me.  Anyone is welcome to participate and I should be opening registrations for everyone mid-week.  Thank you for being patient.  I will post more updates as I move along.

Tip, stay away from exact deadlines in your road map. Instead, estimate the times in vaguer terms. Example, Multipool released in the end of Januari...

In this way fewer would get worried if you past a deadline. For some deadlines are crucial, such person may think that if nothing is presented at the end of a self-estimated deadline the product is probably worthless or have no value for the own company/project team. This even includes games such as Battlefield:Hardline Wink

Either way, personally I'm not the one that thinks a passed deadline is something to worry about. I appreciate all the time and effort you developer guys put into this project, still impressed of Sterlingcoins progress.

Its the 'EXAMPLE' that makes it look really good, without it it might look a bit bland. What word could EXAMPLE be changed to and keep the cool look?
I'm struggling to think, one will come to me soon.
