81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Fusion Takes a Big Hit from Hackers. What's Next For the Coin After This? on: September 29, 2019, 11:34:05 PM
Fusion swap wallet has been compromised, resulting in theft of 10 million native FSN and 3.5 million ERC20 FSN token. OKEX, Huobi, Bitmax, Citex, Hotbit have suspended deposit and withdrawal of FSN tokens. All remaining funds in the swap wallet have been transferred to a cold wallet

FSN is now trading between $0.09 and $0.41. FSN price before the theft was ~$0.5.

82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: September 29, 2019, 11:12:30 PM
In most cases, I will. Legendary members are the most respected members of this lofty Bitcointalk forum and usually assumed to have high amount of cryptocurrency knowledge. So yes, I will give them that benefit of doubt and trust projects announced by them. (assuming all conditions in attaining the legendary membership status are rightly met)
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: September 28, 2019, 10:56:25 PM
Hello, anyone does have a great and secure mobile crypto wallet that you can suggest?

No Coinomi - As previously it was stated that it is not well secured
Aside from Enjin, Trust wallet

Any others to suggest and why?
Thanks and regards

IMToken 2.0 remains my best mobile wallet. Has a top notch user friendly interface, secure and easy to use, cheap and has cross chain functionality. And most importantly, you can exchange coins from one chain to another on less than 180 minutes. I am sure you will love it if you give it a try
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Closings bountyhive? on: September 28, 2019, 10:33:08 PM
Many have heard of such a platform as a https://bountyhive.io. The platform was engaged in bounties and paid fairly regularly, although many projects were a big deception. There was news from the chat that you need to enter eos, stellar wallets, as tokens will be sent that the company owes to those who did not manage to enter the wallets on time. Does this mean that the platform will be closed, so new projects are not added to it. Maybe someone has information about the project.

Bountyhive doesn't shut down, but I can't say bountyhive was very fair to bounty hunters.
To date, few Bountyhive campaigns have really made money for its users. Bounty0x likewise doesn't save a lot of money to its users. Of course, if $ 20 for 3 months work is good money for you, things change.

Sometimes I wonder which of these bounty platforms is better in terms of service delivery (bountyhive.io and Bounty0x) but I do hope Bountyhive remains active because its needed to offer healthy competition to bounty0x else we may start having shitty projects from Bounty0x soon.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: September 28, 2019, 10:21:23 PM
Samsung has done something that other smartphones have not done, which is admirable. Indeed, that price may be quite expensive compared to the consumer market, but in return the functions and security of it in Crypto are worth it. The S10 will attract investors in the cryptocurrency market and cause other phone companies to follow suit.

This is one of the things I liked about Asians tech companies,especially those from South Korea and Japan they are very open to new technological adoption, if their phone become a hit, i can see most of the phone release in 2020 having these blockchain features which will help in the market penetration of blockchain technology

Samsung has proven to be a forward thinking technological company over its advancement in cryptocurrency in recent times and it has given me more reason to choose its products over others because of its inclination to innovation, research and development towards emerging technologies. I am really eager for 2020
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Altcoins can get you Rekt on: September 28, 2019, 09:27:27 PM
Often times I read various posts of people/traders/investors preaching HODLing some altcoins for years and so on thus I took some to research on altcoins 3years and guess what? Most of the altcoins in 2016 are no more to found anymore. You can take a deep look as well via https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20160103/

My candid advise is to trade with the five senses intact and not with emotions. Don't get on some shitcoins with the intention to hold for years else you might get rekt.

I agree! Most especially the shitcoins which can reduce your thousands of dollars to hundreds in minutes. More so, over 70 percent of top 100 coins on coinmarketcap have tanked from its ico price at the moment.  Now imagine of you are a holder which bought during ICO.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt disappointment on: September 27, 2019, 09:35:51 PM
Disappointment is related to unrealistic expectations. Bakkt effect on the market will be visible slowly, on long term.

Right now CME, BitMex and probably others too are the strong players. We don't know exactly why the price has fallen this much, hence we don't know how the price will move in the near future. However, don't count much on Bakkt to "save" the price. Not yet.

And also keep in mind that some months ago the price was 3-4k, so the current 8k clearly should not be seen as a disappointment.

Exactly this is my point.

Don't expect any "big" influence from any exchange or news. Whales and other ones are and will always manipulate the price as they want. So don't see this as a disappointment, i will surely make impact on price eventually, but slower is healthier.    Cool

Even before the Bakkt launch and the porported 1m btc move, I had an open mind knowing its all about the whales game. Once things settle down a bit, prices will pick up and we are back to where we should with gradual progress made towards adoption as usual
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: September 27, 2019, 09:32:12 PM
Thinking yet? Let me help you.

You should start playing blockchain games, because:

1. In contrast to usual video games you owe products you bought for your game. And blockchain controls all the operations;
2. You don’t need to invest money to start earning;
3. You earn crypto;
4. It’s only in your hands. Nobody can influences your chances to win. It’s just you and your gaming skills: the better you play the more you earn (up to $3k);
5. There is trading too;
6. You have more possibilities to earn;
7. Competition is low. You can make a good profit just being professional;
8. DApps users number will be growing comparing to traders.

UPD

I've noticed a lot of people here want to know how to find blockchain games. That is why I've created product hunt collection with new blockchain games. Hope it will be useful for you  Cheesy

https://www.producthunt.com/@house_lama/collections/blockchain-games

UPD #2 there is a good blockchain shooter War Field. it’s 100% not scam so I can send it here. you can read details about this game here (I don’t send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement) https://gameunculus.io/blog/96

I play it for two keys reasons, the fact I can totally play and win big even with as low as 10usd and also its spread on the blockchain guarantees me transparency and a game devoid of manipulation because I can easily monitor it from the explorer. Furthermore, it's an emerging revenue avenue on crypto that can easily be tapped into

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 12, 2019, 12:55:49 PM
Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.
I think that this fact definitely should not be decisive. If you have conducted an analysis and see that the project is really good, then the fact that it is announced by the legend member is also a positive thing. But if the project itself causes you to have any doubts, then don't pay attention but who will present it on the forum.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Changing the rules in the End of the Bounty Campaign is a form of Abuse on: July 12, 2019, 12:47:17 PM
Lately more and more bounties are not following its own rules. By changing it after the campaign was finish and its unacceptable a form of abuse, decietful, dishonest, in the beggining the stupid terms and condition which is all favor to the team. It should be stop! the bounties must be return to its previous state like 2016-2017 those abusive Bounty Managers whos practice unfair method must gain negative trust. join for the fight
Totally agree with you. Unfortunately, more and more often we are confronted with such an injustice. Most of the bounty campaigns in which I participated recently (but not all!) are playing a dirty game. Campaign rules change at the last moment or even after the campaign has been completed.
Someday I would like to see regulatory authorities for interactions of a similar nature.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: July 12, 2019, 12:29:22 PM
Cryptocurrency  is like a water in a bowl, the water moves but the bowl determines the flow

We crypto users are the Bowl. The reality of life is do you do the right things with the water (altcoins, bitcoins, Etherum Huh )

This simply means only crypto users causes the bearish moment and the bull run
Make the right decisions

Yes, crypto users cause a stream in the bowl. But don't forget that we don't move the bowl. We just follow the flow.
Don't underestimate the big players who run the market/bowl. After all, they tilt it in the right direction for themselves. And we, ordinary users, determine for ourselves to swim along the current or to resist the flow of water.
From my personal experience, I can say one thing: a trading strategy needs to be developed only given the general trend.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 12, 2019, 10:57:45 AM
Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.
I completely agree. While supporting a project, you should not just hope that it will be successful. First of all, choose reliable projects (you assess the reliability on your own, based on certain criteria). But you still have to be prepared for the fact that the project will not be successful.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 12, 2019, 10:51:52 AM
I am just a beginner of this forum, curious how to find a promising bounty campaign because of the many good projects but at the end of the campaign being a scammer,

1. Check Team
2. Check Concept
3. Check Partnership
4. Check Media Press
5. Check Sales IEO

Whether to follow the bounty must know 5 above it so that the bounty we follow does not lead Scamerr,

What is your opinion?
Overall excellent recommendations. The main essence of all these points is to study absolutely all available information about the project. If you have already become a member of the bounty campaign, then don't forget to continue to follow the project. If you notice signs of fraud in time, you will not lose your time to support it.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: July 10, 2019, 11:17:14 AM
I'm here today to drop my own point about how KYC should be use
- KYC requirement for bounties and airdrops is so unreasonable ,KYC implementation is no doubt a good idea but it should be forced only on big investors that wants to buy large amount of a token either From Exchanges
- there should be limit for KYC requirements e.g like if an investor wants to buy 10,000$ worths of tokens upward then he or she must go through KYC ,just saying
I fully agree with this statement. The KYC is not really aimed at the goals that it covers at the moment. It is reasonable to assume that a KYC is necessary for those whose purchase exceeds the determined amount. At the same time, I'm confident that those people who receive the greatest financial benefits are in the shadow.
Unfortunately, we are not able to change this system, because the strong and powerful will always try to further restrict those who could potentially become their rival, and everyone else who is trying to significantly improve the quality of their lives.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaign After Getting Listed on: July 10, 2019, 11:09:24 AM
I notice that some coins that are already in the market are doing bounty campaign again like Credits, Veil Eterbase and among others, do you think it's important for a coins/tokens that are already listed to run a bounty campaign from time to time even if they are already listed in exchanges.
In fact, this is a good solution. If the project has already listed its coins, it means that it really works, so you can be more confident in it (unlike projects that are still being developed). And when the bounty campaign is carried out after the listing, it is just a marketing ploy to attract even more quality attention.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: July 10, 2019, 11:03:00 AM
With the recent changes in BTC price, altcoin is getting weaker against BTC, so, this is a good time to pick and fill the bag. Another important part is, after BTC bullrun, once BTC get stable, altcoin follow the bullish trend.
Is it right decision to pick some more altcoin?
In my opinion this is the right decision. In connection with the decrease in the price of altcoins, you need to take advantage of this situation to obtain maximum benefits in the future. But don't forget to be careful and attentive and don't neglect the use of stop losses to protect your funds from unforeseen situations.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your View of Facebook Coins? on: July 10, 2019, 10:58:40 AM
What's special about Facebook coins? partnership? quality product? next crypto or maybe think it's a bitcoin revolution? What do you think.

if I'm private, whatever it is, I will enjoy what they have made like a Bitcoin coin. so, if Facebook coins have a big chance on the market, of course I will use them and vice versa.
First of all, LibraCoin is a coin from a popular project. Already, therefore, it will be a success. Since FB cooperates with the US government, it is possible that this project was prepared with his participation. LibraCoin supports a large number of banks and campaigns with a big name (Mastercadrd, Visa, Uber, Paypal, Coinbase, Ebay, Booking.com, Xapo), each of them has already paid the project for $ 10 million. So most likely the coin will have great success.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin? on: July 10, 2019, 10:48:44 AM
Honestly, who would buy this? Serious question! I've been reading about it and I don't see how Facebook can create a coin that upholds the values crypto portrays (censorship free currency).

https://tipestry.com/topics/5ce41169570b6c1f0750a040/facebook-to-release-its-own-cryptocurrency-on-whatsapp-%E2%80%93-libracoin-%E2%80%93-with-its-base-in-switzerland-and-first-launch-in-india

There are alot of people wanting to buy Libracoin due to the high demand of this crypto. So that if you want to make a big profit in the next time, spend money for Libra and holding for the long-term. Libracoin will beat BTC in the next year I thinking because the Facebook is the big brand of the world.

Of course, I will not dispute that LibraCoin will be a success and many people who want to make money will buy it. But don't claim that this coin will beat Bitcoin. From this statement I can only conclude that you have no idea what Bitcoin is, what its goals are and what problems it solves.
