Looking to buy new rigs with the ASRock BTC motherboard which supports 6 GPUs.

I have heard about problems with AMD drivers and more than 5 GPUs. Does anyone know about this? Do 6 GPUs work fine on Linux with the latest drivers or are there problems?

Also I heard from one source that you should not power your risers on this board, but from another source I've heard that you should power a few or the motherboard can still fry.

Does anyone have this setup and can share experience?

That's cool, but I wonder how this would work for most people (who don't have a VPN set up), since cgminer doesn't seem to support a password for the RPC :/ Then you would only be able to access it while on home wireless, which kind of limits how useful it is. One option is to tunnel via SSH but that is a bit complex to implement.

Btw, why do you mention CGWatcher? Does it have a separate API?

Registration is limited, if you only see login then registrations are closed.

You need to open the port for CGMiner RPC in your router (read-only), if you have multiple just use different ports. You need dyndns or a static IP so the server can update data from your cgminers. There are more instructions on the site where you add the miners. If you don't know how to do this or don't want to do it then don't use it.
The profit information is just current mining profitability and averages over periods of time... It is not related to what you're actually mining.

r00tdude: Thanks. It is definitely a possibilty that I will add this (of course you would need cgminer RPC accessible from web). Which features exactly would be most useful for you? Pool switch?

Was also thinking of adding coinedup/coinex, but coinedup haven't yet replied to me about API access, while coinex API is not documented so worried about future changes.
I will definitely add +/- on exchange prices in next version (compared to the price you had on last refresh), and a little better refresh of exchange data.

This is about 130 million coins from the 270 million premine (if I understood correctly), that are sitting in wallet for now. Didn't check the rest, but it seems a similar pattern.

You can start clicking on the top "Redeemed at input" link and you start a seemingly endless journey. If at some point I look at the recipient address, it's always a wallet that just received the money and then immediately transfered it somewhere else, no other transactions.

DedicatedPool works fine. I use it for most of my mining and no problems.

Also don't forget guys, most pools will charge you 1 satoshi minimum fee per found block (MPOS limitation). Which can be much more than 1 or 2% if you have a low hashrate. The bigger the pool, the smaller your hashrate, the more you will lose from fees.
