81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin is needed to buy iPhone 15? on: September 13, 2023, 07:12:10 PM
Isn't it amusing how Apple releases these 'new' models as if they were no big deal? The iPhone 15, just another shiny toy in their ever-expanding lineup. Rather from being an indication of Apple's ingenuity, those BTC values really show how far Bitcoin has come. When the price of an iPhone 4S was 162 BTC, anyone there? Fun times. And now, the iPhone 15 will cost 0.031 BTC? Ooohladoo. Also, those prices for the Pro models? Apple has a great ability to take advantage of people financially. Anyone pre-ordering on the 15th? The 'revolutionary' modifications they've implement this time around seem exciting to me  Tongue

Wow you're realy taking your first steps into the world of crypto. Cute. First of all, good job on finally selling your old stuff and getting Bitcoin. A lot of people talk a big game but do nothing. You did act, so good job. DCA is a good approach, especially for people like you who are just starting out. Fiat is already failing, right?

Yes, you should follow through with the cold storage plan, but don't stop there. Multi-signature and maybe even backups in different places are things you should think about. You do plan to hold for a long time, after all. Though, be sure you know exactly how to use the cold storage. If you make one mistake, you'll lose all of your valuable Bitcoins. I'd say keep engaging in the forum, read up, practice with small amounts, and then maybe you'll avoid the classic pitfalls. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Im interested but we can use escrow
ya, of course we can use escrow  Wink please let me know which escrow service you want to use, personally I think there are a lot of reputable people on this forum, please choose one. We can talk directly here or you can inbox me privately. Also please let me know how much you want to trade  Kiss

I'd suggest you do not, this user has been accused of having bought the account so the risk of you getting scammed is very high. Keep in mind, they can use an escrow and then charge you back once the deal has gone through.
I welcome your feedback, but please make sure you read my post above carefully, I have insisted that we can use escrow and I am willing to send F&F, this is non-refundable, and I will bear the cost of sending F&F. Thanks!

I'm not quite sure if this will be profitable in the long run. I haven't heard of any mixer that has managed to run for that long.
Not yet? I thought the previous mixers had been around for a long time, for example Chipmixer, they had a very long time. It must have been more than 5 years, right? Furthermore, I think we don't have any problem in withdrawing, they don't talk about our withdrawal limit time.

My next play might be to take every over 3.5 maps because we're having a grand finals rematch on three out of the four series aside from G2 vs Mad Lions, and this season all four matchups went over four maps.
really interesting, this inadvertently creates an old scenario, like previous MSIs. Only one team can be selected from each region, and now it's repeating itself. I just had a win this afternoon in the match between T1 and GenG, fortunately they still do what I believe in  Cheesy When it led to game 5, I was really worried when T1 didn't do well in the B05 series lately.

It is getting quite boring as the matchups among them are very predictable. I would love to see a European or North American team to make it to the finals somehow to be the opponent of a Far East team but I know it isn't very realistic to expect now.  Grin
Dude, nothing is impossible, if the results are too obvious, the battles will no longer be attractive  Grin getting into a final seems difficult, but what about semi-final, if they're lucky enough, they'll make it

I'm deciding between BLG and JDG, both are doing really well  Roll Eyes
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 12, 2023, 06:22:10 PM
May be because soccer/football is not so popular in my country which is why I haven't heard of match fixing in here.
I mostly watch FIFA and other leagues and I think the players are already paid enough and hence no match fixing allegations are against them.
In fact, it's really great, isn't it? when everything is really fair. There is nothing better than being able to watch an exciting tournament without any manipulation. Match-fixing is one of the worst, it's worse than stealing. It causes a huge consequence just in exchange for favorable outcomes for the bettor  Roll Eyes

They could get away with it against the weaker teams, but against Gen.G that won't be easy to pull off.
yes, if we look back a bit, last spring, T1 won against GenG in all previous matches, I thought the championship definitely belonged to them. But in the final, they failed. Technically speaking, this failure is due to psychological factors and poor preparation in the pick and ban stage, they were overconfident in themselves instead of studying their opponent's nasty choices. I hope they don't make this mistake again  Roll Eyes

The Cloud9 series earlier today was a letdown, I thought this would be the first competitive series we'll get in the playoffs, but I was wrong.  Tongue

If the best NA team can't win against the second-best LPL team, then Golden Guardians need to brace themselves for the worse because JDG could speedrun the series if they want to.
it really has a huge difference, when was the last time NA got good results? If I remember correctly it was the semi-final in 2018, it was the only match that I know of, where a team from North America could make it to the semi-finals.

I believe JDP will win 3-0, do you want to bet on the score?  Tongue
91  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN]⚡whirlwind.money | Anonymity Mining Campaign | 12% APR | Daily Rewards⚡ on: May 11, 2023, 05:59:18 PM
For example if you have a Note with a balance of 1BTC you will receive 0.00033333BTC every day added to your balance, so 0.01BTC a month in total. After a day your Note balance would be 1.00033333BTC and so on until you withdraw. You could deposit today, wait for a day, withdraw and you would still get to keep the rewards for that day.
So, it mean, monthly interest amount is fixed and it is not cumulative, no compound interest, only 1% per month is the maximum reward for participants.
In fact, the APR at 12% is higher than what we can get at the moment if we compare with banks. But, have you ever thought about applying compound interest? Although it is not very feasible Cheesy

By the way, it looks like the image is faulty? I can't see its details
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 11, 2023, 05:49:49 PM
Match fixing in soccer ? It's the first time I am hearing that because from what I knew, soccer players already get paid enough and so they don't require match fixing.
I have heard about match fixing in all other games but not in soccer. Everyone involved in these match fixing should be punished.
In my country there were few cricketers involved in match fixing and got caught and were banned from playing cricket again.
Their sports career came to an end and similar punishment should be given to those soccer players involved in match fixing.
If you're really serious then you really are like a kid in this story. It's not a strange thing, it's almost a reality in places where football doesn't have too much influence. The larger the event, the higher the price to pay for match-fixing, so it is easier for national football leagues to be settled. It's not strange to me, I've seen a whole team get banned because of this  Roll Eyes
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 11, 2023, 03:58:35 PM
Bank statement won't expose your private keys but keep in mind filtering the information you will be sending. Also, it is for me fishy in a way that I haven't experienced gambling sites asking for my bank statement rather than transaction history
But if you think that the site is reputable enough, then it could be worthy of compliance. Bank statement only includes previous transactions as well as balance but if there is other way to get your refund then that would be better ofcourse.
I guess this casino is just giving him a hard time and buying time, not sure what a casino needs bank statements for while we use crypto. If this is true, it is a paradox, only the government has the right to ask himto make bank statements.

Problem is if such information is required by the gambling site. If that's the case then the player has no other choice but to comply in order to process the refund. However, following transactions would be somehow worrisome so I guess moving to other platform would be a better idea.
Totally agree with you on this point, personally, providing a bank statement is also not difficult, it is no problem but exposing your transactions, the harm is small.

T1 with one hell of a comeback against Mad Lions in game 1 as they tried to go for a similar composition that Gen G did and made it work. They might do it again here in game 2 as they're now 5k ahead and Mad Lions look hopeless atm.
that seems to be a test of the new lineup they want to use in the future, although it got off to a bad start when Faker kept lying down. But they can still return to the game after small skirmishes with a difference of up to 7K money. It really is something that T1, or SKT T1 have always been able to do since their empire was founded. T1 may not be the strongest team, but they've always been a team with awesome teamfights  Roll Eyes

So, I wonder, why don't you send it to any exchange and do the trade. I'm pretty sure the current exchanges have a minimum trade limit that is not too high, it should be enough for you to make any trades.
Exchange between popular alt coins is not necessary, P2P is more time consuming, the exchange can do it well. Can you explain?

Thank you for your interest ChuckBuck; unfortunately, red trust can be a problem for many members, and maybe some of them will want to take a prudential time after your return. Let us discuss about your application and we will get back to you shortly.
It's okay, I'm fine with it. Others had a thread about my negative beliefs and I acknowledged everything. You can look there to see if I'm safe enough. Although it is a bad thing, but it is a thing of the past and I am sure that I have enough experience to do any translation for my language.
Waiting for your response!  Wink
