81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 08, 2019, 04:52:22 PM
As everyone knows ICO's are good for startups seeking to raise investment for their products. Nowadays IEO slowly gain popularity. Still i am confused which one is effective enough.

Also is it necessary to use Blockchain technology for raising ICO investment?
IEO is a simple way to raise funds very fast, but I don't think it is good for projects. And I hope soon we'll return to regular ICO fundraising.

84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is too complicated on: March 30, 2019, 05:30:27 AM
Centralized financial companies are constantly working on solutions to make transactions between different parties as easy as possible, however, the cryptocurrency and blockchain payment solutions are very complicated for the average person to use.
Until this is put in check, cryptocurrency payments will never have a chance to overcome fist.
It is complicated for a regular user and first time hard to understand how it works. But Ethereum ecosystem now is not so complicated and have many user-friendly services.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: March 29, 2019, 04:58:59 AM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?
It's sad true story. Many of bounty campaigns fail and bounty hunters get nothing for hard work per several months. Before participation in any bounty need to be ready to get nothing and minimize the risks, choose only trusted bounty managers, look at the project, do some research.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 28, 2019, 05:13:09 AM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin
Even such shitcoins will be pumped, when the bull run starts again. But now there is no sense to sell them for peanuts.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Second Attempt: Bittrex Announces Its First Initial Exchange Offering on: March 28, 2019, 05:05:09 AM
Bittrex IEO is very interesting, but I think there are no chances to participate manually by hands because of only 200 places with max $20k cap will succeed and most of them will be scripts.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bull is in the Crypto Arena on: March 26, 2019, 04:42:54 AM
It is too early for bulls, now we see an IEO hype, local uptrend. But I guess soon we'll see a new low points in BTC and other altcoins.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CZ filling his pocket by this IEO thing? on: March 26, 2019, 04:38:19 AM
Most of Celer IEO tokens was bought by several bots, because they much more faster then than participation by hands. Lottery is also unfair to a small investors.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: March 25, 2019, 05:09:47 AM
Analized my experience in cryptocurrency since 2014 year I made a conclusion that PoW mining is less profitable than just buying coins ever. With several exclusions that just confirmed the rule.
So what is your experience?
Cons and pros of both methods to make money in cryptoworld?

Now I prefer holding coins, PoS mining and other methods without noisy and hot hardware
Agree with you. Mining is troublesome business, always needs to monitor your rigs. And profits is not so big. As for me much more better way to invest in crypto in middle-long term.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: March 25, 2019, 05:02:59 AM
Besides BTC, my vote is for EOS. Development is going forward, new interesting projects appear on EOS blockchain.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: March 23, 2019, 05:17:48 AM
It truth, so need to manage your own portfolio very carefully and hold only strong fundamental altcoins.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that market is oversold and bounceback soon? on: March 22, 2019, 04:43:57 AM
Altcoins looks not bad last time, but I think it is a local uptrend, due to IEO hype and soon it will end with new fall.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: March 22, 2019, 04:39:14 AM
I hope we will never even remember about BitcoinCash in near 1-2 years. Useless fork without any future. It's strange to compare ETH with it.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to invest on: March 21, 2019, 04:47:19 AM
I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.

Where do I start?

P.S - How is BTC expected to be the future if it so volatile, you will always have to worry about how much your paying ETC.
If you want to invest in long term (3-5 years), than you can buy it now for any price. Every year BTC becomes more rare and price will grow anyway. Maybe we can see $2k soon (and you buy for $4k), but it never mind, when after 5 years BTC will cost $60k.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next New Cryptocurrency on: March 21, 2019, 04:40:23 AM
A real crypto adoption is not so far how it seems. I think after Telegram launch their blockchain a millions new people will discover a crypto world for themselves. FB, Google, etc. will follow, but later.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Celar binance launchpad IEO on: March 20, 2019, 05:01:59 AM
That's was awful, especially on tech side of launchpad, at  first logout from account, then shows zero BNB ballance, lags. And after 15 minutes of  "fortune circle" - nothing. Need to change FCFS model.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019? on: March 20, 2019, 04:51:55 AM
There is a total availibility of 18.4 million Monero in the market, and out of that 16.7 million has already been mined, since the genesis of the cryptocurrency back in 2014.

Now as mentioned before, the limit of mining Monero is 18.4 million, 16.7 million of which has already been mined. It has been noticed that a more finite a resource is, the more valuable it becomes.

Similarly, it can be predicted that the more finite Monero will become as a cryptocurrency, the more likely it is for the prices of Monero to shoot up.

You can find detail info also here: Monero Price Prediction

Now Let me know what you guys think about it? Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?
Only if BTC will overcome $40k. I guess better to look closely to Mimblewimble protocol (Beam and Grin altcoins) with new fresh ideas.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalization on: March 19, 2019, 05:16:15 AM
It is estimated that that the Cryptocurrency market capitalization went down to $200 billion from $800 billion that it was as at January 2018.
I believed it was due to the bearish market .
What I do not understand is while there is continuous growth of Cryptocurrency, people are picking interest and coming into the cryptosphere and yet the market capitalization is still not moving upwards.
What could be the challenge here?

Most likely crypto money is circulated only inside crypto market and there is no investments from outside. Weak altcoins sell out and crypto money goes to another more strong project.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: March 19, 2019, 05:07:35 AM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.
Always need to look for a new fresh ideas and follow the local trends. Also need to keep available fast funds to join such hype stories.
