to the guy with $40

the $100 thing makes more profit...

By $100 thing, I'm assuming you mean mining and if so.... no thanks. I have my own mining equipment, and if I wanted to buy more ghs I would probably just add another card or two to my rig. That being said; mining is not getting easier and the income will decrease monthly, purchasing a mining contract is a good way to lose money in the long run.

Looks like I was paid .5 last night. I had already shut down the computer or I would have posted when I saw it come. I can't update the spreadsheet though, it doesn't want to come up for me. I got it now, the spreadsheet is updated.

A couple of posts way earlier in the forum mentioned profits above what they invested (over 100%). I'm now exactly mid way through my 120 day period and I don't see how I'm going to make back more than what I invested. It's a great return but not over 100%. I originally invested $40.00 and at the mid way point I have made 15.11, which will leave me slightly over a $30.00 profit by the end of the 120 day period or about a 75% ROI.

That's not how profits are calculated if you want to do it correctly. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527395.msg7303409#msg7303409

Can you say "missing the point!"? It wasn't a lesson on calculations! It was merely a rebuttal for those posts I read earlier in this thread that were stating they were walking away with nearly double their original invested amount.  I'm certainly not complaining about the ROI in my case, but it isn't going to be double the invested amount.

In looking at the spreadsheet as things develop, the pattern of repayment is pretty obvious. People with small amounts owed (less than half a Bitcoin) are being refunded while those with higher amounts (which are harder to pay off) must wait a while.

There's a concept in debt repayment that's promoted by Dave Ramsey called the "Debt Snowball" wherein you attack your smallest debts first, which then gives you an increasing amount of money with which to repay larger debts faster. Seems like the admin is largely following that philosophy and so once the little guys are repaid, we should start to see some acceleration into the mid-pack repayments. I'm glad gise87 decided to maintain this for us, very useful.

New page, new spreadsheet link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lSUi0_1bqe0sv5XI4EvXWPcWI7fwnJbFQY-kMsYxp10/edit?pli=1#gid=1324696940

In my opinion that's still an assumption, even the concept of 'who wrote first' has been a tough pattern to follow, not only do we not know the order but it hasn't been held too very well (as best I can tell).  If the concept of paying small investors off first works best, then let that be stated and stick to it, at least we can all follow that.

This random generation of btc payouts is baffling. I don't understand why BTC-Admin picks who he picks to give money too?!?! It would make more sense if he were to organize this based upon the first investor, on down to the most recent investor or even alphabetically or anything that gives us a pattern to follow.  All this random payout does is upset some and make one or two relatively happy.

He has stated he is working through emails and PM's in the order received.   Although you did get a partial payment the same time I got my first partial payment although I sent my PM/email 2 days before you.  (According to the spreadsheet.)   I might have been even earlier because I live in the GST+9 time zone.  (Japan)

If you look at the spreadsheet, several people have sent him PM and emails before Freejack. Why is he the only one that has more than 3 BTCs and has received a partial payment (3 in fact)? I don't say he shouldn't receive them, but wouldn't it be more fair that everyone receives a single partial payment before he receives the third? If BTC-Arbs is really trading to return the debt, maybe he should not pay any btc until he manages to get all of them. That would be the fastest way, because if he returns some of his trading volume, there will be less profits and the rest will have to wailt more.
At the current rate it will take more than 2 years to give everyone on the spreadsheet back their money. We have a history of lying (ron james?), and he isn't saying how much btcs he has left to trade, nor explaining the order in which he is paying. He isn't even sending an acknoledge that he received the pm / email! And we are expected to wait 2 years before knowing if he agreed with the debt???
I really think btc-arbs should give some predictibility. Maybe just a deadline saying how much will it take for everyone to get their first 0,5 btc, I don't know.

Some kind of organized pattern of payback even if it doesn't suit some of us is going to take more heat off of Adam/Ron/BTC-Arbs (whatever his/her name is), because it's something we can all follow.

I bought my first share in April, it expires Aug 18th. I only invested 40 dollars but so far so good. I'll keep everyone informed as it progresses.

Glad you only invested 40 dollars man. Hoping for the best outcome for you while bitcoin-trader still pays especially after you losing out on the other arbitrage scam, btc-arbs.

Yup, treating this as a game is the way to go. We all know HYIPS collapse eventually.

Yeah, I put way too much into btc-arbs. This one I'm just putting a small amount in, might buy me one beer with the profits Smiley

FYI,  I received my initial investment back - a nice surprise given I had written it off. thanks.

Must be nice, I wish I could get all mine back. I'm happy for you!

Just wondering what the harm is in posting ones 'btc name'. There are a couple people on the spreadsheet that won't put their name? Does ones 'btc name', somehow reveal details about their personal world?

I received .45 today, roughly 18% of my total amount owed. I also updated the spreadsheet Smiley

I didn't see it, is someone messing with the spreadsheet again?  (Or maybe I followed the wrong link)

What the hell?!?! I just updated this a couple hours ago and now it's not there. Trying again!

Is it just me seeing this or at the top of the spreadsheet does it say it was hacked and to send money to a specific address?

LOL Truly skilled hacking, modifying an open Google docs spreadsheet. Quick, send him money!
Seems like it has been fixed.

Yeah it's fixed now. What a numb-nut.

The middle investors will receive installments like the larger investors.

lesnod, your first payment will be sent this week.

The next batch of payments will be sent tomorrow.

Smiley..... cautiously hoping all goes well this week then.

Am I the only one who thinks the guy deserves some respect for doing this?

just sit tight and wait until you get your money back, I m confident he will pay everyone. But as mentioned earlier, it takes time.

gl

Respect?Huh I have never had a clear answer to what happens with those of us in the middle of the pack. It's just a first come first serve ordeal. That means me and about 20 others end up paying back the big investors (in installments) and the small investors as a whole while we sit and wait, because lets face it....... the first come first serve really means the ones that are easy to pay back with small amounts. So I'm waiting and with cautious optimism and hoping, but with no transparency and with information that is at times hard to believe - respect is out the window until I'm paid back.
