81  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Scrypt Mining Profitability Drastically Decreasing? on: March 27, 2014, 01:59:29 PM
I would say mine and hold. BTC has to rise eventually. Maybe we could see another spike similar to last year when it went from $100 to a $1000.

+1

long term-ers usually benefit the most

84  Local / India / Re: [POLL] Crypto currency name. on: March 27, 2014, 06:33:37 AM
BitCoinDream wants this coin to be named as Bharat Ratna. BitCoinDream thinks the coin will get instant popularity if it can be named like this Wink

+1. i hope complications wont happen though - it is a name of the national award

It may create complication.

gaurav thinks this sounds more for India, not south asia
85  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Customs Duty on importing miner from china to india? on: March 26, 2014, 08:51:37 PM
kinda confusing,what to do??

if i were you, i would ponder on:

- how serious am i about mining in the long run?
- how does this new import affect the financials?
- exactly how much "risk" is involved related to customs duty?
- best case VS worst case scenario?
- can be compared this to any other, better investment opportunities?
- realizing that many a times, all i need is some courage to not give in to ILLOGICAL FEAR
- giving up is not an option, wealthy is sexy  Cool

86  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Customs Duty on importing miner from china to india? on: March 26, 2014, 08:27:05 PM
if customs team changes based on receivers city... then the variables (risk reward) also change accordingly, right?

92  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: whom you are supporting LS election! on: March 24, 2014, 07:07:59 AM
Just wanna know do your " Not so Formally Educated Uncle " have knowledge about technology if not don't even bother to explain it to them I tried , failed miserably Tongue

i know exactly what you mean, been there, tried that too many times Sad and i did learn a thing or two from my experiences...

so now i choose my victims VERY carefully, lol

i now also think that one really doesn't need to have whole lot of technology knowledge to fully leverage this BEAST called BTCBTCBTC

and in time... i only see it getting easier and easier for the mango people   Kiss
93  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: whom you are supporting LS election! on: March 22, 2014, 09:38:43 AM
anyways English is Sh!t language

the other day, i was giving a presentation to one of my not so formally educated uncle to make him invest in my extravagant  Cool BTCBTCBTC plans

i was saying btc is this, btc is that, btc is decentralized, btc is the first global digital currency...... to which without blinking an eye he said... oh, like English...

i was like, what  Huh,  Shocked huh, ummmmmmmmm, yes, i said, makes sense to me  Cheesy
94  Local / Mining (India) / Re: suggest a RIG for 50k Rs on: March 19, 2014, 07:04:48 PM
For 50k you should get

Mobo : M5a97 - Around 7.5k
PSU - Corsair VS550 - 3250
GPUs - 2x R9 270(Not X) - 29k ( will give around 900khash when properly configured)
RAM - 4gigs Value/Vengeance - 2800/3k
CPU - Sempron 145 - 1800

And you still have around 6k left for a case and HDD of your choice.

And yes that 550watt PSU will easily power the two 270s as they only require a single 6 pin and consume a maximum of 150 watts each.

So Max power consumption on the 12 volt rail is about 300 + 45(cpu) + 30(fan,HD) = Below 400watt and that PSU will easily power all that stuff.

If you invest more you could get an even better rig which will give you ROI faster.

  Smiley  Cool
95  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Starting Scrypt Mining (Buying rig - 2.0 lakhs) Help n Opinions needed. on: March 19, 2014, 06:09:52 PM
But these chances don't always come along so I usually stick with multipool and invest a little bit in pbmining.

i might have my cute little setup, soon  Grin
96  Local / India / Re: Hyderabad or Bangalore BTC Start-Up Investment Opportunities! on: March 19, 2014, 06:24:55 AM

97  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has Anyone Used Coinurl.com ? on: March 18, 2014, 08:15:13 AM
Do you mean just for referrals? I have made 0.041 btc from coinurl refs,

I don't think I will get that from qoinpro in a very long time (with almost 3000 refs)...

yes, i was shortening urls with coinurl

so what you're saying is "for referrals", coinurl is way better than qoinpro

maybe i'll go back to the drawing board and re-compare
98  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Investing my BTC in Bitcoin startups on: March 17, 2014, 09:58:20 PM
