81  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] BFL ASIC very early pre-order #1674 4-5x Singles 60GH/s on: November 19, 2012, 04:54:00 PM
Please bid in the following format:
Code:
Qty: 3, Bid USD$1500 ea.

Just remember everyone, if the bid is not exactly
Code:
Qty: 3, Bid USD$1500 ea.
it will not be accepted. Tongue

No, this is not a repeat of what that moron did a couple months ago with the pirate bet. I did chuckle a bit when I saw your post though.

I'm just trying to make it clear how many people are bidding on, and how much for each BFL Single ASIC upgrade they are bidding. I don't want someone coming back claiming they won 5 Singles for $1300 total.

Changed international shipping restriction.
83  Economy / Auctions / [WTS] BFL ASIC very early pre-order #1674 4-5x Singles 60GH/s on: November 18, 2012, 10:31:36 PM
I've got pre-order number #1674 from The first 15 minutes of sales which is the 19th pre-order by order number(ASIC orders started at 1655), and the 2nd publicly known order of BFL ASIC singles based on this list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89685.0;topicseen. I'm selling these because of the GLBSE closing which is the cause of me closing down my mining project located here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84192.0. At this time I have at least 4 and at most 5 singles pre-orders to sell out of the 8 that I ordered.

Bidding will start at USD $1300, please bid in US Dollars. Bidding will end when one of these 3 conditions are met:
  • December 2nd 2012 at 11:59:59 forum time based on timestamp of the bid posts
  • 5 bids of $3000 for each single have been reached
  • If the singles ship before Dec 2nd and I get shipping/tracking info (I will announce the bidding will end midnight the following day giving 24-36 hours notice)

If one person is the highest bidder for all 5 and BFL agrees to it, then I will split the order with them and have them shipped direct(I've already emailed BFL to see if this is possible). For an individual winner, the state of the FPGA Singles used for the upgrade can also be discussed and depends on BFLs decision on splitting the order. If there are multiple winners then I will cover Priority USPS shipping, or allow for further shipping arrangements to be made at the winners expense.

When the auction expires, then the top 4 or 5 bids depending on how many I have confirmed are for sale, will be noted and the forum member(s) who made the bid(s) will be contacted. Payment will be expected in bitcoins within 48 hours of winning the auction. Shipping will be within 24 hours of me receiving the ASICs from BFL if splitting the order can't happen.

Please bid in the following format:
Code:
Qty: 3, Bid USD$1500 ea.

Edit: just got word that BFL will not split an order to ship it multiple places, so I did a strike-through of that option in the original listing
84  Economy / Computer hardware / [sold] 2 BFL singles on: November 16, 2012, 12:00:04 PM
I'm looking to sell 2 BFL singles. $550 each, includes shipping within USA. International or special shipping at buyers expense. Willing to escrow through TangibleCryptography.
85  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: November 15, 2012, 02:08:26 AM
I looked into whois of glbse.com at first. But i was told chorley is his old address and that he moved to london. So the london address is the one of interest.

Perhaps try to contact the postal service? I'm not sure about the UK, but its common in other parts of the world to leave a forwarding address with the postal service when you move.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Friday - Black Friday for Bitcoin Businesses. (Info inside) on: November 06, 2012, 11:36:26 PM

Still working out what kind of gift packages we are going to offer.

Thanks Coinabul for putting this together!

Any update on what bitcoin special you are going to run?

I'd probably take everything off your hands if you decide to do escrow.

I'll use Tangible Cryptography for escrow
90  Economy / Computer hardware / [Sold]2 rigs + parts for sale. 7x 5870s 5830 5770 on: October 31, 2012, 06:17:31 PM
I’ve got 2 rigs for sale that I will part out or sell as a single lot. Free shipping on whole rig sales, otherwise add $15 shipping, buy a rig + parts and still get free shipping. I’m only shipping to the USA, sorry no exceptions. Only accepting BTC up front, not dealing with escrow WIll use Tangible Cryptography for Escrow. Condition on all items is functional and used for mining with specific condition mentioned in certain items.

Rig1: $480 as a combo with IDE HDD and enough molex->PCIe power to run as configured

1 Newton Power 1000W power supply with 4 PCIe 6pin connectors. $60

2 PCIe 16x->16x extenders: $5 each
6 PCIe 1x -> 16x extenders: $5 each (all 8 extenders not in rigs for  $30 and free shipping)

91  Economy / Securities / Re: Verifing account of GLBSE discussion on: October 13, 2012, 10:53:05 PM
Just to let you know, I am pretty sure I got a refund from GLBSE 3 hours ago,an amount equal exactly to my account balance before GLBSE closure.

After GLBSE allowed to log into account, I filled only email, and BTC withdrawal address. I left AML data unfilled.

Great. But has anyone gotten info regarding the assets held?
92  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Announcement] Butterfly Labs on: September 21, 2012, 02:52:07 PM
My question is why the picture on this page http://www.butterflylabs.com/landing/, looks exactly like a single rev 3? Will the SC single be using the same PCB and heatsink/fan design?

Dear Akido,

The SC will be smaller with a different custom-made heatsink. Also the Fan is planned to be very silent. Thats as much as I can disclose up to this point.

Regards,
Nasser

Can you by chance state if the power plug will be the same so that those with custom power cables from the FPGA singles can reuse them?
93  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs CEO 25 Million USD Mail Fraud — A Concise Summary of Evidence on: September 20, 2012, 10:38:03 PM
Wouldn't it be funny if they were able to scam everyone out of their upgrade money, then on top of that get many of the people to send functional FPGAs back to them so they can run off with the $$$ and a couple TH/s of mining gear to keep the $$$ flowing in afterwards?   Grin  Grin  Grin
94  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 08, 2012, 12:43:32 PM
Even the slightest hint of a collusion with pirate, and no one will pay, its an unfair bet.

I think Matt may have had every intention of paying at first, but it grew out of hand, and now hes just going to see how high the community will push it...hell end up taking his scammer tags and say it was a lesson to teach us all about being greedy and how easy it is to be scammed. The irony being that no one got scammed, b/c very few expect him to pay.

I could be way off base, but that's what I think is happening here.

I will pay my bet even if there is 100% proof that Matthew is pirate.

And if I lose I'll be paying it on the 9th.

When I bet my money I fully expected him to pay and not paying bets is a scam whether the other person expected it or not.

+1, Couldn't agree more. If I lose based on the rules of my thread, I will pay out exactly as outlined in my thread. No ifs, ands or buts about it!

I guess everyone else doesn't realize that this isn't actually the bet thread that ended at 10,000 BTC. This is only a discussion about the bet where people such as Mat accept or reject other peoples arguments and opinions. Accepting these opinions in no way changes the original bet thread of 10,000 BTC.

*screwed up on first order, had to reorder...

Wow! they're up to order numbers in the 7000's already!

they did not start at zero

we do not know that they use a consecutive numbering system

I'm confident that the order numbers are consecutive. Not all of them are actually payed for (they are simply generated when a order is submitted in their system). I think they started around 2000.

They start ~1600, and I'm pretty sure they're consecutive as well. I ran thru 7 orders placing mine, and 6 of them were consecutive.

1656 is the first order of SC equipment. Some of the orders are also for the old model that people are still ordering.

100  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 27, 2012, 08:40:23 PM
If Pirate pays eveyone then I do stand to make a tidy profit.  If he does not pay everyone then I stand to lose a lot of my BTC.

There was never an if and there is still no if.

Why do some people not get it even after it is twice as obvious as it has always been?

Got it... Its not if, its when. Thanks for clearing that up.
