Yeah. price is down to a third of what it was 2 days ago. I wouldnt be surprised if major dumps start occuring. RIP VTC.
lol idiots ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) yea gogo everyone sell i will laugh at you in a week.. Every successful coin experiences pump and dump... But you know, if they sold the coins, that means someone bought them! And those people who invested won't let the coin die! MINE, BUY AND HOLD GUYS!

guys what are you using for mining q2c?
i have a xeon 12 cores (24 with hyperthreading @ 2.6ghz) and i'm getting just 2400-2600 coins a day.. i would bet more!
How does the hyperthread increase hashrate? How is it possible when the cores are virtual? You just can't increase the power of you CPU by 100% (or can you?) I mine on Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz, roughly 1000 coins per day (I don't mine permamently so dunno exact number).

HA! I knew the HW errors are not caused by my GPU but by Vertminer. Suddenly: HW Errors even at I=12 , Vertminer errors (some kernel error stuff), super low hashrate, super laggy computer. This wasn't happening last few weeks so I am assuming this is caused by miner. Normal Scrypt no HW errors and problems at I=19.

Can anybody help me with start to mine this using CPUminer? Do i need mining_proxy, if i need to, pls advice me how to config it. I have problems to run it. EDIT: i figured it out, but difficulty is so high and price is so low, that i dont understand ehy the f*ck are you mining this people? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Lol I mine (in pool, but) about 2 blocks per day on my CPU... and the price is not really that low, 200 satoshi per coin is a lot. 1000-1500 coins per 24h = 2-3 dollars, my CPU eats 90Watts so from money perspective, it's highly profitable, and I am sure this coin will rise to at least 1000 satoshi ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Edit: someone just bought on poloniex and price raised to 280 sat ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

well this is just stupid... sold 800 vtc I had for about 1hour of mining, at the 0.0009 rate, now already at 0.0051 loooooooooooooooooooool
wth were you mining with? a supercomputer? I bought 460 of these when they were worth pennies just after release, woke up this morning to a BIG surprise my $15 investment is now over $1900 and climbing... I think my miners are gonna be switched over to vert tonight when I get home I don't see problem with mining so much if he is one of those guys with 20MH/s rig and was mining at diff = 1

Started mining this, getting rich with this coin itself ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) another day, another pump and dump coin 99.2% coins will be mined in 2 weeks. I wonder how the network is going to sustain itself afterwards... Still mining it though, I've seen worse stuff taking off. Quark for example... most of coins were instamined

I could not understand, that reminds me of the logo Vertcoin. And then I remembered! But the sign is reversed, apparently Vertcoin when fighting, ready to repel the invasion of ASICs ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . When the peace - the logo is restored ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) THIS IS VERTCOIN ! NO ASICS !oh man someone recolor the shields to vert and white colors ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

i want to buy some before price rise because of the halving but my bitcoins locked in btc-e caz i changed password recently >.<
just a stupid question .... what if i try to mine q2c with my gpu and cgminer what will happen
Nothing only booo By the way, why can't be Q2C mined with GPU? Just because there is no miner?

Current difficulty is 1849.93507204... Block #60480 is close
reward will be 1024........ What is ETA for block reward halving ? 460 blocks remaining... with avg. one block per minute, that's 8 hours. The price wil definitely rise. If you want to make money, buy now.

Why don't you guys like the cube logo? Dev even put it into OP, and becuase I like it too, I put it as Q2C subreddit logo ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And so far we are Q2C, not QBIT and that's probably not gonna change.

Vertminer causes alot of HW errors on my GPU with I>12, at I=18 it's 1-5 HW per second and I>18 crashes drivers.... With normal scrypt CGminer i can mine at I=20 and it's stable with HW=0
What are you mining with? I'm running 5x 290 non x, 3 hynix and 2 elpdia. The hynix i've had stable for a couple days, no HW error, at i20 and are hashing at 473k# happily. The elpdia I've had stable for a day, no HW error at I19 and is hashing at 423k#. All 5 cards use less power than mining regular scrypt. Decreasing TC has a major impact on stability here I've seen. Edit: Looked at your prev. posts and see 7790. This unit only has 2Gb of ram. With adaptive n-factor, you're asking the card to use way more memory than you have available for it and this causes it to die on you. This is part of how it is asic resistant. . by requiring more memory allocation. The fact that a 2Gb card is limited so soon is great news actually. How much ram do you have on your MOBO? Comparison for you: Regular Scrypt n factor is 2^10 = 1024. This coin, starting at 2^11 = 2048. This basically means that rather than allocating 128 * r * N(2^10) = 131072 bytes in Scrypt, you're beginning with a memory allocation of 128 * r * N(11) = 262144 bytes. So if you were almost fully utilizing your card before at anywhere from I15-20, then you will now need to be < I14 to be fully using your card. The 290 non x's I've had running up to I23 for at least an hour or two stable before i got tired of it in sgminer. Anything past that, my card is overutilized and starts producing HW errors. So when you have to lower the intensity to get your card to work. . you don't need to worry that you cannot use I20 anymore. Worry more that your card is either over/underutilized. It seems your card is being fully utilized at I12. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for the info ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Edit: I looked and Vertminer takes only 1GB of RAM, then there is 200MB for system and I actually have 800MB free.
