We're forked?
ScryptoMiners: 795 MH/s WeMineCrypto: 345 MH/s HashRapid: 350 MH/s
Wallet says total Network hash: 850 MH/s
Scryptominers has likely forked. It is showing its own hashrate as the entire network. Abandon ship.
Look at the blocks found, not seeing any overlap. I think a pool is overreporting their hashrate though.

Scryptominers secretly increased their pool fees from 2% to 3% while the pool was down!
WTF Scrypto...thats not cool man.
It was posted on the homepage AFTER we were back up, and BEFORE it was increased. Not sure what else I can do to push people to different pools. We are way over 50% hash rate, which is why the fee was increased. I will decrease it when we level off under 50%. The other two pools each report 300+ mh/s (342 and 340), your pool says 700+, the total is ~800 so something doesn't add up.

Lets try to get some action going in the mineabit pool: *** Mine-a-Bit: http://aur.pool.mineabit.com/ 0% Pool Fee / 0.01 AUR tx fee / VarDiff
Excellent for "lower" hashrate miners, and why not for higher hashrates too, compare to pool with 1% pool fee and 0.1 AUR tx fee: Lets say you set autopayout to 1 AUR.. you pay 0.01 AUR for the pool fees and 0.1 AUR tx fee; thats 0.11AUR taken from every payout.. 11% total fees! // with mineabit, this would be 0.01 AUR tx fee = 1% With autopayout set to 5 AUR, that would do 0.15 AUR in fees from every payout.. 3% total fees! // with mineabit, the total fees are still 0.01 AUR, which would be 0.2% ***
I switched over for the lower fees but I'm concerned about how the worker diff adjustment is working. After ~30 minutes I'm still at 128 diff. Typically pools push my 1.7 mh/s to 400 - 512 or so. Not completely sure how this impacts the pools overall performance but wanted to mention it.

my guess is they didnt update their wallets . they they are mining old wallets.. aka worthless coins
FWIW I haven't mined KARM in a while, when I checked my wallet yesterday I saw networkhashps at ~60 mh/s with a diff over 40. 30 minute block times, so it does appear theres some people or a pool still mining a bad block chain. Got kinda excited for a minute thinking I could solo mine this :-)

Reduced confirmations to 40 as this seems to be network specified (Thanks to EchoingUprise for the info)
Here is the latest screenshot from the pool wallet
NOTE: 76 CRA are donations from miners I'm at 7 CRA for about 45 minutes mining which is pretty close to where my hash rate should have me. Looks good from my end.

So, if the intent is to fork this and take control, do we need to get off the OC's (original crapplers) nodes?

I only have 16 rotten apples but there soooo sweet!

And may your amount now be doubled. Sent you 16 more. Is there a wallet, already ? No, I think he just compiled the linux source. Which is technically a wallet, just not a wallet with a GUI. I compiled it from the git hub source with including the qt wallet, just had to fix the paths in src/net.cpp edit: had to fix these four lines near the top of net.cpp to include the miniupnpc/ to get it to compile #include <miniupnpc/miniwget.h> #include <miniupnpc/miniupnpc.h> #include <miniupnpc/upnpcommands.h> #include <miniupnpc/upnperrors.h>

So WTF is the correct port for the official pool?!? 3333 or 2096??? i have both added to cgminer and port 2096 has been dead status the whole time, 3333 is working and i'm getting confirmed coins.

|

How about dedicated pool? Ready or not?
Their page says 'in maintenance mode' 'use another pool'
|
|
|
I'm finally able to connect to my pool folks, you may have the same results. Feel free to check when you like.
Dopey, I'm connected and mining on your pool, but on port 3333 not 2096 like the Getting Started page says. I think that page needs to have it's port updated?

no offense, but if someone really has ~6 months worth of coins premined I don't see how anyone can mine this. If this coin does continue and gains some sort of value that makes the premine they ran off with way too valuable. By driving the coin forward we'd be rewarding them for pulling this. At least that's how I see it without knowing more.

How the hell the OP posted those settings without checking. Because of him the pre-mine was messed up,congrats.
Anyway, here are the actual settings for VNC.
Parts of FTC,DOGE and LTC are in there, like a hybrid with other edits. Once it reaches 500MB / 1024MB and it forks new versions of the code will be released. New DDLS will be added on the next release to fix the splash image ( Currently Hiding on Load )
Scrypt Based Total Coins = 50,000,000,000 30 seconds per block target (*1- dependent on hasrate ect) 4 hour blocks *1 500 coins per block.
OK, so what is the actual premine (in coins?) is it 500 VNC per block forever, with no halving? I'm getting 95 years to mine all 50 billion? 500 (vnc per block) x 2880 (blocks per day) * 365 (days per yr) * 95 (years) = 49,932,000,000 if the premine is still 0.5% thats 2.5 billion or ~4.75 years worth of mining250 million or 173 days of mining. sorry about my crappy math above Not whining, just want to get a clear picture of the specs on this.

The website also says 1-1,000,000...
I generally cringe at the people screaming scam if a coin is a second late on a launch, or if the slightest thing goes wrong.... however THIS is a blatant scam.
Agree on screaming scam, unless it's got some sort of IPO. I suspect the code didn't do what they wanted and instead of fixing/relaunching they are trying to change the specs to match reality. If they really premined .5% of the intended 100 billion then thats 2 years mining to catch up at 500/block. There is no intention of a scam - it is BAD launch with BAD info. I was given bad info from the dev... if it is a scam then I am scammed as well. Just so I'm clear, is this your coin and the dev you hired didn't build it to your specs, or you are just helping them out by posting the ANN thread? Can you verify how much was really premined?

Everything's working well at http://vern.dogemoon.comDon't know what people are complaining about - other than the 500 coins instead of up to 1mil. but i prefer 1million to 500:( I see OP is updated to this now: PoW Rewards 1st 100,000 blocks: 500 VNC How the hell can the total coins still be right now? VNC Details Scrypt Proof of Work Total Coins - 100,000,000,000 1 Minute Block Targets Diff Readjustments every 240 blocks Also makes the 500 million premine massive, since it's going to take 100k blocks (70 days) to mine 50 million, and we have no idea what the block reward is past 100k.

The WINDOWS WALLET will be UPDATED in 2 hours. Please Delete your wallets and the Blockchain in ur appdata directory.
The Pool: http://pools.animusgs.co.in/cra/ is working fine and you can mine there. Their wallets are Updated.!
Even the Github Source will be updated in 30 mins. ! so the wallet and source you launched with are bad, but instead of a relaunch you want everyone to just jump into the one pool?

Current Block 15185 omg 15329 now - more than 1 block per second. Another launch with crappy starting diff and huge diff adjustment time. and it's 15375 by the time i finished typing

Looks like the diff adjustment is settling down,

If you do decide to allow solo-mining only for the start of the launch, will you please release a linux QT wallet at the same time?
Without access to a wallet or a pool, we will have no way to mine on launch.
Also, if you are allowing pools but no linux QT at the launch why not distribute the source code 1-2 minutes _before_ the Windows QT release? We will still have to download and build the client.
Yes, this please ^^ also, watching todays attempt, I think the diff adjustments need tweaked. There's a lot of hashes ready to jump on this so it needs a higher starting diff, or faster adjustments, or KGW if you can get that in time.
