ok. so i've been hashing for 12 hours and only got 0.018btc with my 4.3 to 4.6mh/s rig. very interesting.

Not awful, But not great, What server are you on ?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: February 01, 2014, 01:32:17 PM
Try guiminer for 290 if all else fails, i had trouble with cgminer and sgminer running this card, especially thread concurrency. Something to do with AMD driver on new non reference cards.

I was using that first hour i started mining and it wasn't any good imo, Thanks though.

Are you still using Guiminer ? Because i can help getting CGMiner working if you like.

Thanks a lot for sharing your set up, I tried 15 scan and 15 expiry but it gave me poor results. Just curious , How many shares per min are you getting ? Because you have more or less exactly the same setup as mine, I have two Sapphires.

For the Sapphire R9 290, I only need to specify threads 32765, gpu memory 1350 and I get 880H/s. Changing core clock makes no difference over time (and you SICK/DEAD if you go too high).
It doesn't like memory 1500 much ether, some cards lock up after a while. 1425 gives 890KH/s but 1350 has been rock solid (1% less KH/s and a good night's sleep vs 1% more and checking all the time...hmmmm Smiley ).

I've not had a problem with sick or dead, I've had them clocked at 1000 core 1500 memory for weeks and they never gave an issue like that.

How many shares per min you getting each card ?

Somebody please give me their timings for CGMiner , It's giving me a headache , I'm losing heart to be honest.

I've seen somebody getting 1 share per min per R9 290 but I can't find his timings.

Confirmed that last payout was really crappy. I was mining on Asia server.

I've been mining on the Asia server too and had awful payouts a few times , But if I switch to the main server my hash rate drops, Funny thing is it's dropped on the Asia server "Again" now too.

Can somebody please give me the scan and expiry times they are using for this pool because mine aren't giving good results no matter what I do.

I (mining at Amsterdam) noticed the same issue and yesterday H2O confirmed (on IRC) that currently not all servers give the same profits, but he is working on a fix. Excerpts from a chatlog (with other news as well):

Jan 31 22:23:03 <Acrobat>   Do we know why the difference in unexchanged between different MC users is so enormous? Are you screwed when mining EU/Amsterdam instead of US?
Jan 31 22:31:35 <h2odysee>   Acrobat: I know that's an issue. In the future, it won't matter what server you're on.
Jan 31 22:31:47 <h2odysee>   I'll make all shares equal
Jan 31 22:33:15 <h2odysee>   The difference in profit between the various servers should be smaller now, than it was before.
Jan 31 22:34:48 <h2odysee>   well, they should be. I made a change a couple of days ago that should make them more equal
---
Jan 31 22:39:43 <h2odysee>   current plans, for those interested, are to fix the amsterdam server (I think I know why it disconnects a lot), then set up a new system for rolling out new servers.
Jan 31 22:40:11 <h2odysee>   So I will be able to easily provision new servers
Jan 31 22:40:38 <h2odysee>   Once that happens, we'll get a Dallas, LA, and Hong Kong server
Jan 31 22:41:03 <h2odysee>   both Ireland and Amsterdam suffer from the same problem. I don't know if either is best
Jan 31 22:42:28 <h2odysee>   I could do a Frankfurt server maybe.
Jan 31 22:44:48 <h2odysee>   Scandinavia will be low priority, because none of my hosting providers have datacenters there. I'd have to use a new one.
---
Jan 31 22:46:27 <h2odysee>   Yeah, the current load issues are the main thing
Jan 31 22:46:33 <h2odysee>   Which I can solve
---
Jan 31 22:47:27 <h2odysee>   I need to lower the diff again. But I can't yet.

Thanks for that info

Well i didnt have such a nice payment today, im on the asia server, received less then 0.01 BTC/mh today, actually alot less.

Hopefully onwards and upwards tomorrow.

Ditto
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: February 01, 2014, 08:56:12 AM
Unfortunately you're right, different server mine different pools, asia server for example despite the highest payday for the week, averaged approx 0.01btc/mh today.

I suspect the server location to have different earnings. I hope i'm wrong.

We use one profit pool and that is middlecoin, now it's spit up like different pools.

As said before it should be: BTC's earned on all servers >> divided by all shares submitted on all servers>> multiplied by user shares >> is payout

It doesn't work like that because I've been hashing exactly the same as somebody else on this forum and he's got 0.02 for every Mh/s I've had half that amount
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: February 01, 2014, 08:54:27 AM

Yeh that's where all the missing payments went lol
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: February 01, 2014, 05:40:00 AM
Just lost every rig other than the ones that are rented / not on MC O.o

Everything is fine on my end... just looks like we lost all servers for the time being (I don't have the Asia or Amsterdam ones configured, just USEast/EU/Default)

Asia is down also
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: February 01, 2014, 04:59:07 AM
Shaping up to be the best payout for me so far, ~0.02BTC/Mhs or so, despite higher than usual reject rate. Higher rejects are regrettable, especially on a good day like today, not sure if there is anything more I can do about it on my side.

Funny because I've read that quite a few times, My payout is complete wank , So don't know what happened to me.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 07:40:17 PM

So its your destiny to have crappy payouts and by solving the other issues the only way to get rappy issues is to fuck up the whole pool ... Thanks a lot ... Cheesy

Haha  Grin

From the miner log I can see that we're mining a lot of a low difficulty coin (or several), and it could be that the value of those just don't show up in the immature/unexchanged if we're trading them on an exchange where middlecoin doesn't have access to the API.

I hope you're right
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 05:38:16 PM
then go cry in the cryptsy thread?  Huh

I'm not that bothered about it like you make it out to be , (THE SKY IS FALLING BOLLOCKS!) , It just amazes me, All week I've been having issues , I get them sorted hashing better than ever, And earnings fall through the floor at the same time.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 05:31:25 PM
it could also be an issue with the exchange... ever thought of that?

Yep , It still isn't going to help us though is it ?
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 05:19:47 PM
A: Taking a chance with a new coin that may blow up (like DOGE back in December)

If he's taking a chance with a new coin that might explode, Its not goin to do us any favours earning a penny a day is it ? Unless we have shares in the future prices ? Bit of a silly thing to say, No offense  Tongue
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 05:15:34 PM
Not sure why you're saying the KH you're getting is at "stock" clocks.

He said stock volts  Wink

Ah OK. But he did say he's getting ~720 on stock clocks from a 280X which I find equally outlandish?

Ohh right didn't see that.

One of the things I got dissapointed in with getting into mining was the quoted speeds people said they was getting vs the real speeds accepted by the server was way off, Be nice to make a website with proper accepted speeds of all the cards etc
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 05:11:59 PM
I just checked, Coinwarz (Which I've already been told not to) And it said even with the fourth coin down at its lowest sale price on Cryptsy I would earn 0.02 per day, So what's going on ?

Scream at me as much as you like I'm just stating facts
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 31, 2014, 05:03:53 PM
I have identical "issue" with my miner today (amsterdam server).

Nice to know I'm not alone,

my total balance has rise from 0.0441 up to 0.0585 for 6 hours.  on 7.5mhs Angry

Wow that's awful.

What's up with the unexchanged number of btc increasing?

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1DVgwcCLEhFb2HRGA2PZD3rnNU6w7xNJc7.html

It's getting to an excessive amount lately...

More to the point , What I cant understand is yesterday I had untold issues with getting stable hash rates, And earned 0.036 , Today I've sorted it out and I'm averaging 2.12 Mh/s, Miles higher than yesterday, And I have earned about 0.004 the whole day, Yesterday this chart said earnings at current rate 0.039 something, Now its saying I will earn 0.01 per day with 2.12 Mh/s WTF?
