Seems the dump is getting stronger, seeing +1 BTC sellers. Idiots are selling low and even lower. I truly hope this coin is worth so much that they'll be crying out of regret just like alot did with doge.

I really hope you're right there

This coin is in its death throes, you can not even pay for the electricity to mine it, it is dead!

Everyone give AtlantisPlatform a round of applause for his extremely accurate predictions.

Where were you when SMC reached 0.0004 and had 180 BTC trade volume? Oh right, sore from your "predictions" backfiring. Nice attempt at spreading some FUD, it seems like whenever you come in here the price rises eventually. Keep at it with your strong predictions, market guru.

Oh Atlantis....

At first I had fun just shredding you with insults to which your were too chickensh!t to respond.  Then, I had fun watching lots of others kick you in the teeth while you acted shocked, hurt, and (hilariously) righteously indignant about the slights and insults (real and perceived) thrown at you.  But now, it's all become just sort of sad.  Well, not "sort of sad" - it's just plain sad.

If these abysmal efforts at trolling in this and other threads are the best you can muster, you really ought to give it up.  I hate to be the one to break it to you but when you aren't making people angry and you are making them laugh at you, you're not trolling.  I know, I know; it's pretty surprising, right?  What you've actually been providing for us is the very best kind of entertainment -watching some schmuck willfully make an ass of himself.  You've been doing it for quite a while now and for free!

Don't get me wrong: I'm not putting you down.  I mean, you've got a real flair for this kind of self-inflicted humiliation.  It's just that...well, I'm sorta feeling bad for you.  Maybe it's just that, as a connoisseur of this sort of agonizing, squirm-inducing self-abasement, I recognize your rare talent and I'm not sure the others here appreciate you as much as I do and I don't think they deserve to see it anymore.  Or maybe it's just that I've busted buttons off so many pairs of my jeans from laughing at you that I'm running out of safety pins to hold them up.  Hmmm...I dunno.

Anyway, perhaps you should take up a new hobby.  Play some xBox and grief some 11 year olds; go bird watching; become a French New Wave film movement savant; do some puzzles - yes; that's it!  Puzzles!  You should take up puzzles as a hobby.  It's perfect for you - you can do it alone since you clearly have no friends; they take quite a long time to complete so you won't be bothering anybody; and you'll get an authentic sense of satisfaction every time you pat that last piece into place.  Plus, they don't laugh at you.

Puzzles, my boy - that's the ticket for you.

I think the actual "S" should be thicker.  The line is so thin that is hard to see, particularly when the icon is small.

As for color, the purple would work for me but I prefer the white "S" on the blue background on the bottom row - with a thicker body to the "S" in all cases.

The gravity well isn't going to stop the multipools from coming and it isn't going to prevent the difficulty from jumping.  It's just going to make the diff jump much faster (so they'll leave).  And then the diff will reset much faster.

I'm glad for all of us that the dev is implementing KGW, but it is a treatment, not a cure.  It will definitely help but, unfortunately, multipools are a painful fact of life they we just have to deal with.

Come on block 35,000!

Update your Windows and Mac wallets! They're in the main post!

If you're running a service for SMC, be sure to pull the latest code from github and recompile again.

Make sure your protocol version is 60002!

Done!  Looking forward to the Gravity Well.

I received a small payment to my wallet of type "Mined" but my Stake field still shows 0.  How is that possible?  I'm using wallet version 1.3.3.1

The same thing is happening to me. Zero stake even though I should have some, and I am getting stake mined coins.

Stake amount(stones spent+interest) only shows for about 50 blocks (2hours) then it returns to your balance, it's just held for this amount of time. What you guys see as 'mined' is the actual small 'interest'(reward for supporting network) payment paid on some stones you held. To see the amount which created this 'interest' just right click on the small mined amount row, copy address ,and paste it into explorer, where you can see the amount which minted (and how old they were). (it shows as mined if it's mined or minted)

In getmining info you'll also notice the weight dropped and now starts again with the added minted amount for your next stake.

Hmmm.  The address for that transaction shows as (n/a) and there's nothing to paste.

Hm ya it might not work after confirmation, try to double click on it (one that shows mined), you'll see a window pop up, copy the transaction ID (or to: will shows address), should work =p

That worked Smiley  Thanks again.

Freaked me out for a moment to see a withdrawal.  The way the calculation is done, it shows the minted stones as deposits and then withdraws them, less the interest.  Had to bust out the calculator to make sure, lol.

the same!
Spent six hours mining on smc.hash.so and NOTHING found, ZERO coins. What a waste.
no answer to my mail via contact form

bullshit mega scam! 6 hours!!!! for nothing!!?!?!!!!

I think you pointed your workers to another coin. That΄s possible at the hash.so pools, just check the right top when you are in your dashboard. There you can choose the coin.

^ This is almost certainly correct - it's pretty unobtrusive and if you aren't careful you can screw up.  I've mined on and off there for several days with no problems at all.

I was doing a little low grade arbitrage between the exchanges but it looks like they've evened-out and stabilized.  Was fun while it lasted.

How large an exchange is coinedup compared to coinmarket.io?

smartcoin is gonna be the new profitable coin to mine. We are kicking doge's ass pretty amazing.

Network hashrate going through the roof and diff as well at the moment.

On top of coinwarz again.  Strong correlation with hash/diff spikes Wink

We need an extra exchange! that will be good for price stability, and it could add some extra volume to the market. But i bet some exchange is working on it when they see the volume on coinmarketcap!

We're also on Poloniex but the volume is low and the bid/ask is way off.

Topping Coinwarz again.  Difficulty is going to nearly double in 12 blocks.

A lot of SMC was stuck in deposits, they've been released now. Hence a bit of a price drop. Still healthy growth after you remove the peaks.

I am kinda scare of this. Will free fall if the buy walls are pulled.

Buy walls have been either pulled or sold into multiple times today and still the trend is solidly, stably up.

It's just a gut feeling (and so possibly wishful thinking) but this does sort of feel like an engine revving - like things are just getting going.

Coinmarket.io is lagging pretty hard.  Lots of people hitting F5  Wink

Its not lagging it has crashed! Sad

Yeah, it had been getting progressively slower over the last hour.

I quite like xhash, different and nice interface and excellent payouts.

Yup, I switched over from hash.so.  I had no issues at all there but I figured I'd do my part to dilute the hashrate by throwing my piddly 125 khs over to to xhash.  And I agree with you, JCviggen; it's nice to see a pool that uses a different interface.

Thanks for the answer.  Just to clarify, if the stake resets after any coins leave the wallet, would it be smart to have 2 wallets - one in which I leave the coins to stake "permanently" and one in which I keep Stones I may be sending/spending?

Np, you can do this, but the stake only resets on the input used when sending. For example: if you have 20 inputs for 100 PHS each and then send 100 it only resets on those 100, not the entire wallet.

I added in some newer features which can help too,

Code:
getmininginfo

In debug console (QT) (help>debug>console) To see the current (weights) of your PHS, Stakereadystones also tells you how many stones could potentially be staked right now (or lost if you send all PHS).

Excellent.  Thanks for the very informative answer.  It took me a while but I get it now Wink
