81  Economy / Service Discussion / CRAPTSY GETTING READY TO GOX US? on: October 17, 2014, 05:19:34 AM
Just on Cryptsy (CRAPSY) and getting all sorts of errors right when I am trying to withdraw my coins, to another exchange. will post pics but I am seriously expecting them to pull a mt.Gox on the world and dissappear with everyone's coins. I hope people did not have much on there, and those that did, I feel for you. maybe it is time to get some one together to go after one of these people if they do pull a disappearing act and make it a public event so any one else running an exchange that is planning on pulling a snatch and grab, will think twice?

82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / why is it [HASHFASTER][PROBLEMS!!] on: October 16, 2014, 02:24:43 PM
why is it that I can send repeated emails or contacts to them *hashfaster* and nothing gets done, instead I have to come over here and say something publicly to get anything done about their pools, to get their attention?  seriously they apparently don't care about what is going on or what happens to our coins, and don't fall for that automated "your coins and hash are safe, we are investigating" crap, cause until someone complains publicly, and they stand to receive bad press, they do nothing, and I have calculated out the coins I should be receiving and have seen that everytime I did  not complain about missing coins, I got nothing during the outage, when I have complained I got far less added to my account than I lost,

also why is it they have the highest rate of orphans of any pool I have seen? seriously. ever 4 or 5 blocks they have usually two orphaned blocks,

I think it is time we stop hashing there and move to another pool en mass. I am definitely looking. and once I find a better pool I am gone, they can kiss my ass. I know if I was running a pool I would not treat it nor those mining with me so flippantly.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: a2 innosilicon broken blade. how to repair? on: October 15, 2014, 05:25:54 PM
man I am so sorry, I had a fury I thought was busted and was pretty sad, luckily it turned out to be something really simple, (USB hub is cheap and the port it was plugged into was not making contact right, switched to unused port and change start batch to use it, and all was well, for now at least)

I hope you can get that sorted, Maybe  they need to endorse or someone needs to research what they need to source parts and how to repair these. especially if it is not something like one of the ASIC chips, but just maybe a blow cap or something.

*****EDIT******
also with those massive heat sinks covering most of the unit's components it is impossible to see if something is blown under there, just incase it is something that is visible to see. Repaired quite a few things by just looking and finding a blown out part, and replacing it with a new part (caps, power transistors, relays) and got a good long bit more life out of said something.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: trouble on HASHFASTER 42coin pool!!! on: October 15, 2014, 05:17:08 PM
so no one knows of a better pool than hashfaster for 42coin huh? I have been mining over at poolwarz since they crashed this last time and will continue cause I am actually getting paid out there, while as I just checked, they still have their "standby we are experiencing technical difficulties" standard placation message for over 24 hours now. and I have watched and they are not giving out what they should be either when it is down, so your hash and coins are NOT safe.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: trouble on HASHFASTER 42coin pool!!! on: October 15, 2014, 06:15:36 AM
yet once again the site has been down twice now,

Is this a 42coin problem? or are there some pools out there that are not constantly going down? cause if not, I may have to move my miners over to mine something else. and drop 42coin.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / anyone know of a better pool for 42coin than HASHFASTER's ? pool down 23hrs & ct on: October 13, 2014, 02:55:59 PM
Kinda hard to let someone know their site is having a problem when you can not message them

will be keeping track of amount of coins I am supposed to be getting since they have that nice automated message that tells us all that everything is fine, and last couple times I checked I was short, until I complained.

***update, they are down again and have been now going on 23 hours as of this edit, and even with an email through their system, they still have not fixed the system,

as well as being down an awful lot (on poolwarz for 42 and I am getting payout so I know it is not the coin it self) but they also seem to have a TON of orphans, which equates to lost profits from mining with them, not seeing any orphans so far over on poolwarz, only complaint is that people are not hashing there, Maybe people should come and hash there instead.
87  Economy / Goods / Re: currently working on open air mining case for Borgsteamfactory. :) on: October 02, 2014, 10:02:03 AM
new stuff and skilled time for those needing or wanting things is going to be available now, just PM me if you want to do business, and as always I do take coin for work too. if I can afford the out of pocket materials and shipping then purely coin is acceptable too, and I have references here on the site and else where as to my trustworthiness. just ask. Also if it is fabrication or construction, or some CGI based work let me know. even if you don't see exactly what you want in any of the stuff, as I have a lot of skills, tools and supplies that you will not see in my website and on my facebook images, so you never know.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, pros and cons, experience and profitability on: October 02, 2014, 09:55:25 AM
I looked into arbitrage a few years ago but found it to be nice as a concept but doing it in reality has so many drawbacks, price change, time of transfer, fees etc

In the end i went a different way and found something profitable to the tune of about 2-2.5% per sat move against altcoin btc pair per trade.I tried telling ppl about it as i was looking to sell it but at that time noone actually beleived it was possible mathematicly so i was stuck with it.Poor me

Arbing just wasnt for me,not in crypto anyways

kinda interested in what you are talking about, but I prefer figuring things out for myself lol, my current trading processed even explained to my friends was not enough, they see via skype screen sharing and what not that it works but they still would rather badger me with enticing offers to do the trading for them, which one finally did mostly because I am more confident now, and not because they wore me down or offered me something I could not refuse, as for if it is working, I say don't sell it just use it, and prove what you are earning to people, put a business model together and sell your services to make them profit and collect a bit on the side from this profit Smiley

I am trading as I said for a friend and our agreement is that the profit from trades I take half of, and always make sure the principal is left behind too, as well as his profit. if he leaves his profit in, I increase the "principal" by that amount, so 200K coins makes 40K profit, I take my 20K *50% of 40K* and if he leaves the other 20K then his principal is now 220K coins. which means I can make even more if I can trade it all to make a profit for example using the previous trade it would not be a 40k profit but a 44k profit, so we each would make an additional 2k profit on top of our 20k Smiley mind you we are pretty good friends and have worked on a number of things together so our agreement is a gentleman's agreement, so anyone else I did this with we would have to have signed and notarized paperwork that we both agree to before I started working that sort of a plan with them, and my system basically uses statistic analysis and psychological analysis to understand why things happen, so I know when I can solidly expect trading trends to make money, thus it does not take into account variables I can not anticipate yet, as I have not encountered them before, and those effects that just can not be anticipated, lol. but I still always end up with a profit at some point Smiley
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone teach me? on: October 02, 2014, 09:38:04 AM
sorry to resurrect a close to dead thread but I should mention that a friend finally convinced me to take on trading for him with his coins, and what is being done is I take half the profits, leaving his principal behind always, and his earned coins, keeping track of any he adds to it so the principal is always there, not sure if this is useful to anyone asking here, but I have turned my 1000 mec into 5846.something mec since march lol. and have guided someone here locally while they stayed with me so they made 11000 doge off of their 40 something thousand they had on just one single trade, and taught them how to know where their limits are, but again these are friends, if anyone seriously wants to have me do something like this, another computer to set up another trading account would be needed so some start up costs would have to be included and obviously a contract to protect both myself and the other party, hammered out too. but I am open for suggestions I guess, so...
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 42 coins on hashfaster when down are losing my coins! on: October 01, 2014, 04:44:00 PM
I know how much I get in a given time frame, and I am literally seeing only what I mined while their "front end" is not disabled, so where are my coins going? I am not mining to give my coins away when someone decides they want my coins. seriously I would advise switching pools when they are "investigating" and claiming "your coins and hash are safe" cause apparently they are both safely in someone else's account and not yours. Sad
91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ok seriously this is getting old, and really concerning me about www.btc38.com on: August 04, 2014, 09:11:58 AM
seems the site is down again, is anyone else out there still able to use it right now???
92  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btc38.com needs to get on the stick and fix their exchange, on: July 21, 2014, 05:47:20 AM
are you spamming my thread?? seriously one fucking post and its to tell me to use some VPN service??? If I can not connect with my exchange with out a VPN then I am not going to deal with them anymore, time to withdraw my coins and go get ready to build an exchange that actually is maintained, cause I know the site works when it is maintained, the problem is that until someone complains here, they seem to be completely in the dark about their site being down, and that has to stop if crypto is ever going to be taken seriously.
93  Economy / Service Discussion / btc38.com needs to get on the stick and fix their exchange, on: July 21, 2014, 05:15:08 AM
its not loading again, and its that hm.baidu.com that is not loading, it gets stuck on that and eventually just gives up, then we have no trading info on their exchange, and that makes me paranoid to be have any money on their exchange, is there another site that is more stable???
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - *GOING PoS*NOBL/$USD*MARKETPLACE*52 CHARITIES/MERCHANTS* on: July 16, 2014, 06:14:14 PM
Hello, I have not had my wallet open for a while and am now having trouble getting it connected to any nodes. Any suggestions?

Did you try: addnode=nobl.poolerino.com ?

Thanks, that seemed to do it.

I just deleted the peers.dat file and it fixed it for me.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge game over? on: June 29, 2014, 11:27:28 AM
the block halving game, lol, there is going to be some change due to the halving but it will not be what everyone keeps expecting ha ha.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DOGEHOUSE ISSUES???? on: June 29, 2014, 11:00:30 AM
Anyone else having trouble getting their coins out of dogehouse.org? I put in a manual withdraw like over two hours ago and it still has not gone through, never had this take so long, also though lately we are seeing 18 to 20+ hour blocks when we have so much hash it is incredible, I mean seriously what is going on??? I hope some one is not ripping us miners off Sad Angry Angry
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge game over? on: June 29, 2014, 10:56:43 AM
man you people I swear, have you ever considered looking at all the other coins and see what they are doing while one coin you are watching is doing something? can you really not see patterns when they are so obvious or do I have some super power that lets me put together these patterns??? Doge, is only going down because this time of year all the coins value goes down too, but that is all I am telling lol I am not responsible for holding anyone's hand through things, I have one person I know pretty well that I help and he has made coin, off my help, but that is as far as I go, I only help people I really really really know well and trust lol
98  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy #$%@#$%^!!! on: June 27, 2014, 10:07:06 AM
next time you have trouble you should check this

http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/cryptsy.com.html

if you are not the only one, then come talk, if it is just you though (the site says cryptsy is up and gives good ping time, then try going to fire fox or figuring out how to clear your cache of your browser and reload it then, when I have trouble with a site that usually fixes it unless that site tells me it is actually down.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone teach me? on: June 26, 2014, 05:28:29 PM
seeing some good advice, really I am impressed, I would drop a bombshell here on it all but I know it will get ridiculed and ignored as a result so I am just going to hold my peace unless someone wants to talk directly to me for some free advice, I have a buddy I am teaching about it in doge market and megacoin, and he is seeing returns already from his efforts, so...

Glad to see there is some advice here that is not BS, I will only say this, Dont flinch, if you do that is when you get screwed around, you can ALWAYS count on the market to come back, or come darn close to back to where you are, lol
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, pros and cons, experience and profitability on: June 21, 2014, 07:37:24 AM
Crazyivan, you are doing nothing but wasting your time.

Whether Arbitrage is profitable or not. Nobody will tell you their method.

Why? Use your damn brain?

WHy would they want you to steal their arbitrage opportunites?

Why should I teach you my method and have you put a bid or ask one satoshi difference from mine and you get a fill and I don't. You make a profit and I don't. Why in the world should I teach you that.

Only person that would teach you that, is if he got something in return such as subscribing to your scam site.

Only way to make money in Bitcoin in the short term is by trading it. Mining is not profitable and neither is buying 1 BTC and hoping and praying to the Gods that it goes to $100,000 one day.

lol exactly, that is like teaching someone how to do something that you are doing and then having them do the same thing and compete against you since there is no limit on how much you could be doing here, so there is no way to be sure that there will be enough market to spread around to everyone, instead whales will come and gobble up all the profits and leave NOTHING for anyone else lol. its not like making a part that is hard to make and there is a ton of demand for it, so there is plenty of room to grow into that will never be filled totally, unlike that part, doing transactions of larger size takes NO ADDITIONAL physical effort other than a few different key strokes, lol
