I have been able to find 2 working exchanges that I didn't know exist yet, because of them doing what any business person would have done by taking advantage of a prime time to highlight how they work their end better. I have read more updates about their 2 sites in the last 24 hours of their runtime, then I have in the past week of CoinEx's downtime. At this time I'd personally prefer to read people trying to present their sites and what integrity they attempt to bring to it, rather than some 2 cent lie from Erundook. |

I don t had much coins @ coinex because they are not serious...from the beginning until the End...and WTF is .pw ?
pw is the internet address extension www.coinex.pw and I only included that because of the cloud farming site www.Coinex.io that may be ran by different people, but I am not certain on that either. |

Vitaly took our coins and ran... SIMPLE! If any of you that believe he is coming back, you have been fooled. Why did he post that he was going to pay us back? Good Question...My theory was that he decided to make that post on the very same day that news reports came out about the personal lawsuits against Mt.Gox which included freezing the personal and bitcoin accounts of Mark K., and realized he needed more time to move coins out before his accounts were frozen. Other users have posted how they seen coins still moving out of coinex accounts even after he posted is first reply since the outage. I will make my apologies if I am wrong, but I have more faith that there will be no need to apologize then I have faith in Vitaly coming back with even a portion of our coins. Move on and chalk up your losses. Don't stress over CoinEx no more. If they miraculously do come back, then you will have some to be thankful for and something to praise. |

Well just do some homework on Craptsy. They are an illegal exchange. They do not have a License by the state of Florida to do what they are doing. They will be the next one to fall. They are also in violation of their federal MSB federal registration AND they are not licensed buy the CFTC like they should be.
Florida Violation > No money service business License.
FinCEN Violation > No KYC or AML compliance.
CFTC > No registration.
If you have money on Craptsy, it will be gone when feds take it down.

That proves nothing. There could be many reasons to move coins internal (I've just learned that this is happening often on exchanges), you already named one possible reason. So, they could be gone with all our money or we just worrying more than we have to. If they are gone we can practically do nothing about it, if they are still there and working we can complain about the lack of information provided to the community. In both cases our hands are tied.
Did you noticed something? Everytime someone is complaining in the public about an exchange nothing happens. Nothing. Except people who spread words of wisdom like: "Don't leave your money on an exchange."

Hello NO I won't trade there again!!!!!! There is too many unsatisfied people that have locked/missing/delayed deposits..... There is too many people claiming that their support ticket is taking weeks to be worked on..... Erundook has deleted his personal twitter account..... No hourly or even daily communication of current downtime.... People are expressing their anger and fear of losing their money, not one member of CoinEx has stepped forward to alleviate our fears.... How much more unprofessional does a business have to get before you decide its too much? Not to discredit CaptainFuture because I don't think he really knows what is going on, but he logged in to this site yesterday twice, and once today (a little over 5 hours ago to be exact), and he hasn't posted to alleviate our fears either. I think he is just as confused as the rest of us, and is too afraid to post, because he knows many here are looking to hang someone. If you want to have faith, and hang on to hope that they will be back...so be it. Personally, I see to much evidence that points to Erundook taking our money and ran! If they do come back, how could you choose to still do business with such unprofessionalism that not only gives them a bad name, but the rest of the crypto world a bad name? |

Just found this on localbitcoins.com https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/CoinEx/I cannot confirm that is anyway tied to Erundook or CoinEx.pw, but if it is, than it is proof of scam from the beginning with account creation being very close to the startup of CoinEx.pw, selling BTC without paying dividends to IPO share holders. Now a full day without any word.... sorry guys, but this looks more and more like CoinEx.pw is a thing of the past. |

The finally got their site working great for weeks, and then this happens~! Dammit! Well, what I'm trying to do is voice my vote of confidence in the sincerity of CaptainFuture, but I don't know what's wrong or how this will actually end. I hope it will be fine in a few days. I hope nobody blames CaptainFuture, a simple reading of the beginning of this post will prove that CaptainFuture started out as a customer like the majority of us, and was later giving moderator status because of the devotion and love he had for this site. He has admitted several times in chat that he does not have the power to look into transactions or help manually, that all that power fell on Erundook. If this is a scam or hack, then CaptainFuture had been taken by it just like the rest of us. It's looking more like a scam every minute. I posted yesterday, that Erundook deleted his Github account and the API documentation posted to it. Blogger 'I like kill nerds' investigated further and found that Erundook has deleted his personal twitter as well, and is trying to erase himself from the internet. The blogger found his profile on Localbitcoins.com and posted a screenie showing that Erundook has a trade volume of higher than 150 BTC. Could this be his personal BTC... maybe..... but with CoinEx daily volume being around 65 BTC a day this past couple months, I am fearing it might have been part of ours as well. Just relax. I highly doubt anyone is getting screwed here, W/Ds worked fine yesterday morning (i pulled .5btc @ 9am est), so the fact that they started to show "unknown address" errors at least shows you aren't being had by the owners. Most likely a w/d issues was spotted that allowed double spends/multiple concurrent process of the same transaction, etc. That or someone switched the outbound address for all the coins lol.
But lesson be learned, eat the transaction fees, not worth it to hold any amount of btc in an exchange. Throw that shit in a truly secure wallet.
Prove it to me, for now i have the right to be skeptical... though coinex has gone down for days before...... all my shit better be there is all im saying... and now I don't even have faith in this site, nor does anybody. It's not a great way to run an exchange, security should be #1, that is the whole fucking point of charging fees. Security Should be #1, However I wouldn't lose faith in an exchange that closes down while it fixes a leak that could lose your coins... You should be clapping your hands at them attempting to protect you and your coins. However, Its not security that has me losing faith.... It's the lack of information and lack of transparency that makes me concerned. Any Professional venture, would have given us plenty of information to keep us calm by now. Even if they do come back, there lack of professionalism has already lost my business. I'll take my coins and business elsewhere. |

Someone raised the IPO flag on the cryptostocks site, if you are holding shares you may be stuck with them! https://cryptostocks.com/securities/79This happened within the past week, there were sell orders for less than the opening price just a few days ago. Sell orders for less than the opening price is common in their scenario. They originally released 80,000 shares, but only sold just under 2,000. The remaining 78,000 are still available at 0.04 BTC a share. If a person changed their mind and wanted to sell the shares they had already purchased, the would have to sell for less than the offering price in order to dump them when the original block was still available for sale. Nobody in their right mind would pay more for a share than they have too. I am not attempting to justify CoinEx, but explain the reasonable economics of their shares selling for less than IPO initial offering. I personally feel that CoinEx is down for the count, probably another victim of an sql injection to steal coins like one of the rumors of what happened to Mt.Gox. This all smells like bad news for CoinEx. When they had site problems before, they were very transparent with what was going on, what they were doing to fix, and normally had a timetable of when all would be back to normal. This time it all happened in similar fashion to how Mt.Gox went down. Many people not being able to withdraw BTC days before shutdown....No notice or news to why, when shutdown happened. All sitting in the dark waiting for one shred of news on whether they should still have hope, or just move on. Those type of answers can be easily confirmed by them. I am not losing much.... about 0.03 BTC....unfortunately for me.... its pretty much all the coin I had  Atleast I am not losing a paycheck here, and feel sorry for those who have way more invested into this site. |

API documentation was removed from Github somewhere in the last 6 hours too.... Haven't seen CaptainFuture in chat in over a week...which used to be daily.... I'm beginning to feel goxxed here.... If not Please CoinEx... give us some sort of update on what is and has been going on. he was on chat this morning very briefly, said he had a huge backlog and it would take many days to get through .... then he was gone I'm beginning to worry more, now... CaptainFuture's presence or lack there of is not what really worries me.... The one that worries me is Erundook.... Not only did he delete the API Documentation, but he or someone deleted his entire profile at Github as well. Erundook is the primary dev behind CoinEx. |
