81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: September 15, 2018, 11:01:19 PM
I think cryptocurrencies are a great innovation and one that most of the world is excited about. However this excitement has brought about a high level of hype which has caused more influx of people into this space thus creating a bubble making the market to see enormous inorganic growth.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: September 11, 2018, 10:19:35 PM
It cuts both ways really there are ICOs that are scams, and there are also ICOs that are legit, the scams are more than the legit ones nevertheless and recognizing which is which is one of the hardest things to do for an ICO investor.
For good analysis, one has to consider the team, the technology, roadmaps and the token economics.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the dumping end? on: September 11, 2018, 07:12:15 PM
The cryptocurrency market unlike the FX and equity markets have too many variables in play a lot of which are interdependent on each other.
The market dumping is dependent on a lot of Factors but most paramount among them is the human factor and the fact that there are too many cryptocurrencies going yo duat daily. These dead projects will get sold for pennies ans will cause an effect on the total market cap, this effect may then be followed by people who wantbto quickly get out of different projects.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic buy and panic sell | chance on: September 11, 2018, 06:14:53 PM
In the decentralized market, the major thin to avoid is fear, Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), Fear Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD). This two concepts can make you make premature buy or sell orders without really following any strategy.

What I like to do is to set targets during the present market and predetermine my moves if some certain conditions occur, then I make sure I stick to it.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: September 11, 2018, 02:52:45 AM
Leaving tokens on exchange when compared to real life is synonymous a person that goes to the market to buy some things and then after purchasing his goods, decides to leave them with the trader he doesn't know personally.
It is irresponsible to say the least and unless you are an active day trader.
Don't ever leave your tokens on an exchange as they ate not safe there.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: September 11, 2018, 02:21:13 AM
This is highly impossible, because according to vitalik buterin himself its highly unlikely any crypto will make  a thousand x in returns anytime soon and any boom in the crypto space will be a result if genuine development and not just marketing and hype.
Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and replacing it will be a very difficult task.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: September 10, 2018, 10:58:08 PM
That is way too small to trade with because small deals are not profitable and even the big deals carry a lot of risks.
Ideally I will say you should open an account with an exchange that gives daily traders with a dummy account which will have high volumes and offer a better learning experience and flexibility when trading.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: September 10, 2018, 10:44:23 PM
KYC helps projects to stay on the right side of the law as regards the people investing on the projects. However, for bounty hunters, this are not investors and they get paid, so I don't think KYC is necessary.
data provided during KYC are sensitive and most of the time bounty hunters are taking big risks with the projects they engage in because most projects are scams.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what happened to ethereum? on: September 10, 2018, 10:30:44 PM
Ethereum is a lot less stable as compared to bitcoin and when you realize that, then you Can see why bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that has still held its own in this market.
Most cryptocurrencies have dropped over 0.2x this year.

I think  ethereum will totally bounce back in a more favorable market and anyone who has invested in it right now will likely reap big rewards on the bull run
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do bounty managers hide spreadsheet and pay hunters penny? on: September 10, 2018, 10:15:42 PM
This is pure exploitation and nothing else, a lit of bounty managers will give out tokens based on their own discretion and not according to what the hunters have earned and to do this effectively they will hide the spreadsheet of the rewards and then pay out pennies.

This is bad and it should stop that is why I only trust an handful of bounty managers, some are amazix, bountyplatform.io bounty0x and a few more
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always? on: September 10, 2018, 10:03:59 PM
Bounty hunters subconsciously are informed about how good or bad a project is during the development while they are promoting it, so I cannot really Blame bounty hunters who dump whenever they receive their rewards.
Personally I make my decision based on each project. I can decide to sell it hold, it is my decision. Besides bounty rewards can be seen equally as a payment as it is seen as an investment.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: September 09, 2018, 11:00:08 PM
Yes very much, we need altcoins because there are still pressing needs foe more scalable faster and better Blockchains than the Blockchain 1.0 and Blockchain 2.0 we have right now, but most Blockchain 3.0 are yet to live upto their hype so we need altcoins.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: September 09, 2018, 12:59:23 AM
If you are using myetherwallet it is not recommended for you to use your private keys directly on the website and the same can be said for your parity phrase because once they get compromised, you can loose your tokens.
It is better to use meta mask web extension to prevent hacks and phsing scams.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to ensure the safety of wallet? on: September 06, 2018, 02:46:53 AM
In the crypto ecosystem security is a very important issue which cannot be over emphasized. Your Wallet holds your crypto assets and its security is your duty and yours alone.

Firstly bookmark your Myetherwallet and other web wallets so that you don't get send to a phsing site, then save all your private keys in secure offline locations so that you are safe in a case of hacking and its likes.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to save my coins and tokens? on: September 06, 2018, 01:47:04 AM
The most newbie friendly way of saving crypto currencies is to use a paper wallet either for ERC 20 token, neo, bitcoin etc. Desktop wallets are good, hardware wallets as well but paper wallets are easy to back up and will not be list when saved properly.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: September 06, 2018, 12:08:33 AM
The up and down nature of the crypto market seems discouraging but this is no surprise really it will still take some time for the market trends to normalize and this means more volatility, more pumps and a lot of dumps along the way.
I am a believer in this technology but cryptocurrency still has obstacles to scale.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 05, 2018, 11:45:11 PM
ICO rating sites offers help in a lot of ways as regards how yo analyze ICO projects and offers also in depth into the points to make note of. This is very good but not all the ratings can be trusted fully and sometimes there is an element of favoritism and this may sometimes lead to people becoming mislead.

But generally I trust ICO ratings to some extent and then do my due diligence.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does a Successful ICO Really Require $$$$ on: September 05, 2018, 12:58:30 AM
It is quite distasteful to know that some ICOs just ask for any amount off their head and ask investors to invest in such a project without a transparent record of how the money is going to be spent. ideally most of the money required for ICOs are going to be spent in the hiring of staff for the product development, necessary facilities renting/leasing and marketing.
I don't think basic Blockchain ICOs should require more than 10-15 million USD as a budget.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get carried away! on: September 05, 2018, 12:54:06 AM
This is true, everyone seems to be an expert during the bull market making predictions and claiming they predicted rightly some market movement and things like that.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 27, 2018, 03:29:51 AM
Definitely this is 100% correct because over 90% of ICOs accept ETH as the mode of payment during ICOs or as an alternative mode o payment where multiple currencies are accepted. ETH is the most widely used blockchain for development of other projects.
