I would recommend GMiner, lolMiner or miniZ which are updated regularly.

Can you update your GitHub repository, too?

You can gain experience already if you start with your office computer.
Install a good GPU and use the NiceHash miner.
That's all and still easy. 

After some time you can switch to a dedicated mining rig with multiple GPUs.
Then you can dive deeper and think about mining software, mining pools, wallets...

Added new category for RandomX including brand new XMR-STAK-RX and SRBMiner Multi.

Removed EWBF and Funakoshi Miner because the miners were not updated for more than one year.

I'm curious how the new GTX 1660 Super will perform.
It will be released next week.
With 7000 MHz GDDR6 it should be fast on ETH.

If you want to spend more money go for the Apollo. It has the better hashrate to price ratio compared to the Moonlander 2.

I have created an app that shows the latest miners and sends notification in case of updates (see my signature for the link).
You provide a unique link for every version of your software.
This makes it difficult to include your miner.

Can you create a single link, download page or GitHub repository in the future?

If you want to dig deeper you have to choose a coin to mine and the respective mining software, mining pool and wallet.

You can run different mining software and hardware on the same computer.
That's multi tasking 
I'm mining with my GPU and Moonlander 2 on the same PC, no problem.
