81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hashcoin (HASH) - X11 - DGW V2 - Automatic Checkpoints - Instant Confirms! on: April 12, 2014, 11:16:46 AM
Due to the vulnerability in discovered in OpenSSL I have released an updated client, built with the latest version of OpenSSL, which is patched against the "Heartbleed" flaw. You are only vulnerable if you use the rpcssl option from the command line option. The new hashcoin-qt.zip is already available for download from http://www.hashcoin.me - GitHub has been updated as well (Just recompile if you compiled with OpenSSL1.0.1f or later), OpenSSL1.0.1g fixes this issue and the new client has been recompiled with it.

Other than that Hashcoin is running great! Smiley Keep the steady increase of mining guys! Smiley

Thanks OP. Can you send the bounty for the dice site to HCUy7tQfUNNGRiGVcbjoSkfaNeBxEJzQ5p ? It'd be nice to have additional bankroll. I've PM-ed you about it as well, thank you.

I had sent you 100 HASH there was no bounty for a dice site, unless I forgot I made that? If so what was the bounty? No problem! Thank you!

UPDATE: Working hard on the new site, hopefully will be up by tomorrow at latest.

Hey OP, see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560955.msg6120198#msg6120198

I asked about it and you said 500HASH Smiley

Sorry I just think I am frustrated with not being able to update the OP...(this site in general) sorry if I came across rude...I hope you get it working! I sent you a PM as well.

Regards!

The network is running smoothly! Get some miners going guys! Smiley Bunch of new pools in this thread that some kind devs have setup! Smiley

I finally got it working. completely my fault, I had not added the nodes in the first post, so the wallet never synced. Sorry about it.

On another note:

Dice site is now live! http://hashdice.supercrypt.co/

@OP: Please send the bounty to HCUy7tQfUNNGRiGVcbjoSkfaNeBxEJzQ5p

Shout out to hashman for being the first to try the dice out! Smiley

Just contacted virtualdn who runs coinok.pw about maybe having a go at a faucet. We'll see what he says but I'd bet he's willing to give it a go.

edit: I guess not. Forgot that he's been getting a lot of requests recently so it's down to a twitter request to add to votes list. then BTC voting -- http://coinok.pw/vote/

Would need 0.03 btc to beat the current leader

we will make you a faucet for the hashcoin bounty you offer. no need to add voting. please contact us to setup deal.

Yes bounty for faucet will go to you once setup! Smiley

To the guy that is saying we are running on a different fork on github, the code is the same as anything. I am at Block 13810 and the http://chain.hashcoin.me is showing the same number, I don't believe we have forked, it would be very difficult to anyways Wink

I did update some of the github code, to maybe see if it fixes your problem. Let me know! Smiley

Good to see all these new pools up and allcoin accepting HASH now! Smiley I will update the OP here once the admin unbans my Carsen account.....

Until then expect to see the updates on our official forum on coinboards

The fact is that I compiled the code directly from your github and it's not the same. Can you please look into it instead of just dismissing it? Fresh off your most recent github commit:

I am not sure what you are doing before all of this...

Follow this to install Hashcoin from github on a Linux server:

Code:
cd ~

git clone git://github.com/carsenk/hashcoin.git

cd ~/hashcoin/src

cd ~/hashcoin/src/leveldb

chmod +x build_detect_platform

cd ~/hashcoin/src

make -f makefile.unix

Then make your hashcoin.conf file in your /.hashcoin/hashcoin.conf

Then start the daemon up ./hashcoind -daemon

Tada! Hashcoin should be running.

OP: That is precisely what I did. FYI I have compiled multiple wallets for my personal purposes and recently made a dice site (now 2) for the alt coins. None of them are having issues. Can you repeat your own steps on a separate computer or virtual instance and see if you're having this issue?

I believe the problem lies in your python script that you are running in that screenshot. I just recently about an hour ago setup another daemon on DigitalOcean under a Ubuntu 13.04 x64 install....ran fine without a hiccup, worked with addnode on my main wallet synced up just fine...I am really not sure I would recommend you check that python script and double check everything with a clean fresh wipe and reinstall Smiley

I'm using the python bitcoin RPC library to connect to the wallet, all it's doing is making RPC calls so I can communicated with the headless wallet Sad. I'm on DO too by the way. I'll give it another shot later. Thanks OP, appreciate your responsiveness now, you came across as very defensive earlier Smiley.

Hi all,

Made a dice site for this: http://caishendice.supercrypt.co

Enjoy! Smiley Lefters has already sent me the bounty which I am using a portion of as the bankroll.

Indeed I am running on a different fork even though I compiled from your github source. Not cool at all OP, some information from your end will be appreciated. Removing my link for now.

Hi all,

HASH Dice site up: http://hashdice.supercrypt.co/

I've sent some HASH to the bankroll, please give it a moment and you should be able to start playing Smiley! In the meantime, do register for it Smiley! For reference, I've also made COIN Dice at http://coindice.supercrypt.co.

Also, it doesn't seem like it's instant confirms. I've sent it about 10 minutes ago and I still don't see the amount on my end: http://chain.hashcoin.me/tx/d926f0dc5f9ffd1e1c0c5a2fd1ad61f6aaa64af3bbf684d743254ac7572e51bc#o0

@OP: Please send the bounty to HCUy7tQfUNNGRiGVcbjoSkfaNeBxEJzQ5p

Thanks.

Update: OP, I'm still not getting the coins I sent across. How long is the expected wait time?

Dev/OP: Did you change update the code on github? Seems that my server is running on a different fork:

bitcoinrpc.data.MiningInfo(networkhashps=0, pooledtx=0, errors=u'', blocks=0, genproclimit=-1, difficulty=Decimal('0.00024414'), testnet=False, hashespersec=0, currentblocksize=0, generate=False, currentblocktx=0)

Seems like I just wasted 1000 HASH.  Huh

Update: Completely my bad, I hadn't added the nodes and the wallet didn't sync.

Hi all,

HASH Dice site up: http://hashdice.supercrypt.co/ DO NOT USE IT FOR NOW. The source from Github seems to be on a different fork altogether.

93  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LeaseRig.net Rent & Hire SHA/SCRYPT/DARK/QUARK HashPower! on: April 08, 2014, 05:31:53 PM
miaviator: I'd appreciate if you could process a refund. A rig I rented about 10 hours ago today never worked (was "Dead" and now it's not responding). I've submitted it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=420386.msg6126786#msg6126786 and also a ticket here: http://leaserig.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/114. Earlier today I tried reaching out to you on Skype but never heard back, and the rig owner hasn't responded either. As such I believe I reserve the right to demand a full refund of 0.0977 (including 0.0002) BTC for the failed rental.  My BTC address is 1LKrKgdFU1WbGG5sk16SKViTHRBWVXhr1p.

Thank you.

Shuxy.  Constant battering of the provider, support, myself, and this thread will NOT change your situation.  Your provider is more than willing to be fair and work with you on the rental issue as all of our providers are.   I am uncertain what exactly you are looking for and why you are unwilling to work with the provider on this issue.

miaviator: I'm more than happy to work with the provider and have already responded in the other thread. With that said it was >11 hours and I didn't hear back from anyone, I understand your need for a 24 hour leeway, but it'd be good if you could also see things from my end. Also, I've provided additional information, the rig is reported as "Dead" on your site even though it's working according to the pool. To add on to the frustration, I found two miaviator on Skype, one which didn't reply and one who is likely a scam (I've since reported to Skype). There's nothing to be uncertain about, 24 hour may seem like a fair time given it's an international service, but most of the people I know lease rigs precisely because they spotted an opportunity. Perhaps you may also want to try and understand things from the customer's viewpoint before assuming I'm unwilling to work with the provider.
94  Economy / Reputation / Re: Frostamation Reputation Thread on: April 08, 2014, 05:24:50 PM
frostamation: I checked the hash it seems to be running, but on leaserig's site it still says "Dead". Thank you for the credit, I'll keep using the rig.

miaviator: Got it.

Apologies to both if I seemed harsh. Since it seems to be running now on the pool, so let's get on with it for now Smiley.

See screenshots:

miaviator, frostamation: Now it says the mining rig is off. I demand a full refund, it never mined, my hash rate on the pool shows 5.94 (my own rig). The amount is 0.0977 BTC, please send it to this address: 1LKrKgdFU1WbGG5sk16SKViTHRBWVXhr1p

Thank you.

Renting FROSTA1 (DRKMIX 13.00 MH/S) at the moment but it seems to be "Dead". I'm trying to use this pool: http://hash.altmine.net/static/

Update: Still not working, been 10 minutes since I rented. Can you please look into this? Thanks.

Good to see nenzo007 on it as well, took quite a bit off my roll I think Sad. Heh.

Hehe, yea, sorry about that Shuxy.  Wink Got extremely lucky with a long strike of high bets.
The good thing about it is that I got the chance to test the withdrawal section on your site, and can confirm it worked like a dream.
I will be back. Maybe you will win round 2!

Heh. All good as long as everyone has fun! Smiley  Cool, I made sure to test before I put that out. My initial code actually called send twice so if I hadn't tested everyone would have gotten twice their balance!

Rustyknight: Thanks! Appreciate it. Also COIN2 was made a while before COIN so I don't think it's the same Dev.

[15:25] <sixsoul> Hey Shuxy, if you don't mind me asking, how much Coin did you subsidize the roll site for?
[15:27] <sixsoul> my educated guess would be 100k

This made my day! First time seeing people chatting in #coin-project and I didn't even notice it till they left.

@cinming and @sixsoul, what's up? Smiley PM me directly in IRC or on Twitter @Supercryptdotco if you can't get me. And yup I started with 100K.

Good to see nenzo007 on it as well, took quite a bit off my roll I think Sad. Heh.

While we are on this, can I suggest everyone go to ##coin-project instead of #coin-project? The owner of #coin-project is never around and none of us can set the topic, etc. making it a useless channel effectively.

##coin-project is invite only ? invite me   Cheesy

I must be asleep when I did it, lol. It's open to all now Smiley!
