Hello everyone, Yesterday we were contacted by the Bitmark's developer. He asked us to set a pool for BTM and so we did ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Here is the pool info: URL: http://xhash.netPool address: stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3405 Single registration / Global workers / DDOS Protected / VARDIFF / Prop payouts / Fees 1% Thank you and enjoy ! Regards, xHash Team

[/center] Are you finding blocks? No, no block for a long time. Something is wrong.. generally We tried our best to fix the problems and we failed. We apologize to all our users that wasted their time and resources! Our stratum is off, we'll remove the coin in a minute.

You are missing my point, I'm not gonna start a this gpu with this miner/kernel do this temp debate ... its all bullshit. Read this part of my post again. ... if an algo keeps the gpus cooler that mean that the miners is still not optimized and is not using your gpu full potential ...
Using longer extenders, extra fans, a AC, keep the rig in a north sided room, ventilation .. etc etc , those things keep your gpus cooler not the algo .. sure but your argument has no relevance. maybe i'm wrong but this coin can be mined ~14 days. do u realy think the mining sw will be optimized until mining is over. i don't think so .... its all about motivation (read btc), a skilled dev can do it in no time to be more exact: on my workstation, a 280x sapphire, single card, 14.6 drivers: x13mod: 3.050 MH/s at 68C x11mod: 4.400 MH/s at 67C nist5 (optimized by djm34): 12.900 MH/s at 69C nist5 (not optimized): 6.500 MH/s at 60C the exact temperature doesn't matter as they may vary depending on how your rig is build, the point is that there is almost not difference in all those "cool" algos

wrong. x11 and X13 not bringing temp around scrypt level. it is 30% less temp. Nist5 is not optimised yet, so for some people works for some doesn't works like it should. And double hashrate doesn't mean anything 'cos value of the coin will be less by double.
you are not using the right miners for sure .. Maybe.. if there is some private not published miner. pretty public, all of them

you are not using the right miners for sure .. But Asic are a specialized HW that not everybody has or want to purchase.
GPU mining is more democratic and orizontal scheme of distribution of coin's mining. It is still profitable for little and medium miners.
I'm just saying they consume less, its up to you which one you'll use.

Before jumping from algo to algo, maybe consider that if an algo keeps the gpus cooler that mean that the miners is still not optimized and is not using your gpu full potential. We saw few modifications for all know "low" temp algos (x11-x99, nist5) and they all bring the temps around scrypt level. I personally enjoy nist5, cause the original miner keeps the temp of my workstation gpu quite low and I can work/watch movie/ run several VMs while mining. Of course on my rig I use the optimized miner by djm34 and temp are at 72-75, but with double hash rate. If you want to run an algo that consumes less energy, scrypt and sha-256 will be your right choice, cause ASICs consume less than GPUs.

We stopped our stratum and we'll check back tomorrow. Devs will provide fix for pools soon, but we are at our limit and really need some sleep.

we forked ... devs are giving pools another fix shortly, at the moment dedicated is on the right chain there is an announcement in our pool for the fork compare with the block explorer ..
|
|
|
ok ,we now have 6 peers stable on the right chain, everything seems OK !

Any chance you could help with the pump back up to the 1000's sats seeing as the fork kinda forked it all up? ;-)
They kind of did by providing a fix as quick as they did. Excellent Dev response time. That said...it is the responsibility of the Dev to provide a functional coin and not to participate in quick pumps/dumps because the price is not where some would like it. I think that after only three days that there is much room for growth and patience would be key here... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I'm really pissed and I won't argue or answer. The number of peers we get to our wallet is very low to none, we were fine after the update then dropped to 0 peers then back to 4, now we have 2... we are on the same block as the block explorer for now..
