Guys, which coins are you mining with your cpu rigs?
I am mining the Monero. But recently the hash rate of monero is decreasing to half of the peak. What is the reason?
Monero made changes to their mining algorithm to make it ASIC resistant again - it's CryptoNight v7 afaik. So the decrease in hashrate everybody experienced is because of that, and I don't know if they are planning to tweak it to get more hashpower again. As I read algorithm change prevent web based miners too. And already prevent existing asics on asics manufacturer's hand Oh that is good to hear. Monero is the most popular coin to mine using botnets, and I have read recently there is even malware on android smartphones mining XMR. After that algo update Monero Network Hashrate went down from over 1GH/s to less than 500MH/s. Yes and mining monero is more profitable now. Botnets must be stopped too everytime. I am so glad to hear that news. The Monero dev team did a very well job. The update of algo will kick botnets out. So good and fair for our cpu miners. Nice! |

Its a good news for us then? So is this the time to sell our bitcoin to gain profit or just hold onto it again? By the way, as for me, I'm very happy seeing bitcoin rising up again for today  Do not know whether it is a bull trap or real thing but I didn't hear any good news about bitcoin today. If you're in a profit then book some profit and keep some coins and monitor the market instead of just holding or selling all your coins. Prices already below 8K and almost corrected 350$ from today's high price so I feel better to book some partial profit and wait. I am also so curious about the sudden rise of Bitcoin price. Have not found any big news. Interesting. Maybe there is some coming good news, but normal investors are not yet able to know about it. |

Tonych, what about the possible BOINC project for Byteball? No decision or action yet for that? I'm still looking forward to contribute some computing power for any decent research.
There will be a distribution to World Community Grid contributors soon. I'm currently developing the bot that will link Byteball addresses to WCG accounts. That's the future plan of distribution? It seems like the early distribution of Ripple. Is it FAIR or effective? |

The url https://ioc.re link to receiving HYBRID token is 'Not Found'. Anyone else know anything about this? It seems that a lot of phishing are around especially in this time close to the token distribution. All investors should be clever enough to avoid to be scammed. Be careful. |

After the release of a new version of the wallet you can stake/mine if you hold any amount of BTC2 in your Bitcoin 2 Core wallet. We will contact exchanges and other wallets after the new version has been released. Coinbase as well. Just download the linux wallet for my Centos 7 machine. The wallet works well except the sync problem. It's the same problem for other guys. Looking forwards to a new version of wallet. |
