I can get s9's at 20 or less  so this is a bit too costly.

Please do tell me where to get cheap S9's!
84  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / 24T ASIC miner Cheetah on: April 29, 2019, 10:51:12 PM
Just was introduced to this https://www.cheetah-miner.com/?lang=en

Anyone ever heard of this company? Apparently they are making a better version of this 88j/Gh Dinosaur, but if the price is right it might be worth it those with cheap power Wink

It is a lottery ticket machine.

Perfect excuse to buy this, thanks Phil.
87  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: April 11, 2019, 12:49:57 PM
I cannot use paypal anymore - I ordered 10.6k worth of miners and paid with paypal - never got the miners (first and last time buying from a 3rd party that is not proven thru these forums)

Do mention the vendor, it is a service to the community.
88  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: April 08, 2019, 01:22:28 PM
Aren't the M20's not expected to be shipped until July/August?

Also, you have to consider your electrical installation, with 2 power cables the S17's can easily replace or go into current installs while the M20 requires 20A wiring.
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolin Whatsminer M10 - 33TH at 2145W on: April 02, 2019, 01:52:32 AM
Pango is saying I need to ship them back the damaged PSU at my own expense (don't like it, but no big deal and standard for the industry), but are also asking that I pay the shipping for them to send the new PSU to me.

Exactly what happened with the PSU on my Bitfily B1+. Decided to buy a new PSU from them and keep the old one old parts.

Looks like a beast, so that should vent 56 S9, how many M10 or better yet how many M20? The link is busted BTW.

Yeah, don't go to 4" then to 6" it will restrict your flow, go straight to 6".
94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BTC Miner Snow Panther B1+ on: March 28, 2019, 02:02:37 AM
Great idea, thank you, merit given, Try that with some regular computer PSU's I have laying around? Smiley

I believe the only "odd" current on The B1+ is for the Mainboard. Any idea if the Hashboards are the the usual 12V?

Have to read the manual before I go try this, hope it is regular PCIe voltage.

I wonder if they move double the air, does the S9 move 250 FPM, S15 500?
96  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: My "mini" mining farms , set up + wiring on: March 27, 2019, 05:40:38 PM
I still don't see how you are venting the PSU's
97  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: My "mini" mining farms , set up + wiring on: March 26, 2019, 04:46:41 PM
It looks like a great setup; How are you venting the PSU's? I am doing something similar but not isolating the Hot side because fo the PSU's, simply relying on the air flow.

Here is how I wired them:

And the UI:

I did not hard wire them to the outlet because they came after the installation was done and the outlet is 20A Vs. 16A for the sensor.
I went with 6-15p for my cables through the outlets can also take 6-20p.
99  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: power consumption on: March 26, 2019, 01:05:07 AM
I use this:

https://sonoff.itead.cc/en/products/sonoff/sonoff-pow-r2

It monitors consumption remotely and I can power On/Off, they are hard wired though.
